one thing about "lesbians can date men" and "lesbians can be men (especially if they have vaginas) (it connects them to Womynhood) (if you disagree youre a terf even though this is really straightforward terf rhetoric)" is that its all about the (now pretty common) theatre of seeming like some sort of boundary-pushing LGBT activist without ever actually having to fight against anything at all. you can talk to the run of the mill Puritan Conservatives everyone on here strawmans and theyll be pretty happy to hear that you also think lesbians can date men; you can check terf blogs on here and see that They Too think trans men have a "special connection" to womanhood and being a lesbian (called 'Being Female') and that actually the transmasc(? whatever they call themselves) terf circle is actually growing in recent times. but fighting against societal misogyny and the leering rapey lesbophobia that is fucking everywhere is too uncomfortable, its a lot easier to just say "fuck labels do what you want forever!" and cite some nameless gay person from the 90s saying "im gay faggot and lesbian and man and woman" or some shit as an appeal to tradition & expect everybody to throw their hands up and say fuck it. they dont want to fight the oppressive common ideas upheld by society, theyd rather make the "battle" their own mental gymnastics to tell the victims of these lines of thinking about how its actually super woke and smart, and if youre victim to it maybe its actually because youre just not woke enough, because otherwise youd just let it happen to you like a Good Woman i mean person

im on the clock which is why this is kind of word salad btw #Slacking but when i was a teenager there was this guy who somehow mistook me for a lesbian (i was like a bisexual trans guy atp i think) and genuinely schemed behind my back to other guys about how he was going to get close and "break" my (presumed) lesbianism because he thought "it would be fun" and because they insisted lesbianism was always a phase that can be broken by the right man. and i only found this out because the friend he schemed this with got a crush on me & told me & then weirdly sexually harassed and touched on me. And im not even a lesbian bro all the shit i hear that actually happens to people who ARE lesbians on a daily basis is like fucking nightmare fuel. living your life not wanting to be with men and everybody takes it as an open invitation to start coercing you into trying to be with men. Nobody has ever done that 2 me trying to coerce me to be with women or anything, even when women have been attracted to me. I Wonder

it's not a source of pride or anything but there's been so many times where i've had to hold myself back and check myself from physically attacking men who sexually harass people i know or even just witnessing harassment on the street. or just seeing evil men in general. like idk i really do think some men need to fear for their lives more. i just can't risk getting my nose broken or potentially getting arrested for fighting. im diagnosed with cptsd for a reason like i didn't get the freeze or fawn ptsd response i got the "uncontrollable urge to hurt and maim something that registers as a threat" response. and people really dont like that
