Lillith/Gilgamesh ramblings ♥️💛
Lillith summoned Gilgamesh by chance during the very first singularity as she became overwhelmed, and he was her savior. In other timelines
Moon Cell: She "touched" her reflection in the depths of the Moons texture and he "touched back" for his curiosity to bring him out. Generally their battles are quick and fanciful as Lillith is trying to get to the core of the Moon to understand it while Gilgamesh is wary about dismantling it. As a copy of Earth Lillith, she's enamoured with ensuring the right thing for mankind is done, even if she's a sacrifice.
Fate Core Series: During the events of Heavens Feel she tries to save him from his grisly fate being a grail puppet, even with his sights set on Saber. He is eventually devoured by the Shadow, and Lillith herself is forced to retreat so she's not next. She does carry around his Key as an heirloom and it's locked under three safes if it's not kept on her.
Strange Fake: Unfortunately, her body is hijacked by Fenrir and used as a tool to weaken the King. Eventually the spirit is purged from her, and Gilgamesh sends her back to England where she's safe as he doesn't want her to witness another death of his.
Samurai Remnant: As an incarnation of the seven coloured bird, she is associated with the South. Her power is weakened losing an arm to a rogue servant and is saved by Gilgamesh. They reunite, even if briefly, as Lillith sits to play "pretend" as his Master but the six seals on her back tell a different story.
Primarily the concept of this ship is a noble birth showing the king there is much more to their blood than a title. Lillith fights for the people and snubs those against humanity, often siding herself with nature from her path as the voice for nature. As Gilgamesh finds this paltry of a woman of her skill, its also commendable for someone to inspect his garden down to the roots to clean up the corruption. They do have polarized views and butt heads, but soon come to an agreement that work needs to be done together.
Lillith recharges on the solar noon opposed to most mages and relies on sunny days to recharge after expending her mana, Gilgamesh relies on his Independent Action to see just how far Lillith goes for combat (and is never disappointed)
Uncommonly, feelings can be shared during the heat of combat, Gilgamesh tends to grab her out of the way or Lillith reinforces her legs to kick him out of a killing blow if someone has the advantage as she would rather be the one to fight to a finish instead of sacrificing Gilgamesh like most mages would their familiars. He doesn't quite understand how she thinks he'll get hurt (god forbid she watched Humbaba rend him through the chest) but Lillith sees him more of a human than a tool which causes his fickleness to turn into appreciation.
Out of all my Lillith ships, there's no kids here. Gilgamesh is too selfish to have her just to himself.
Note: Enkidu and Lillith do have a very positive relationship. Enkidu respects Lillith after learning about her from Gilgamesh's memories, and calls her "Cherished One." They gently touch foreheads to address one another when greeting. Enkidu also will bully Gilgamesh for making a new friend without him.
