My most stereotypically white person habit is I really do LOVE saying “looks like we got here at the right time” if a place gets crowded after we’ve been seated

cats will be like ugh you’re obsessed with me go away freak. and then 2 minutes later: where are my huggies and kissies from mommy. where is my unconditional love and affection.

crime shows are like "this character is being obnoxious and causing problems by not letting police enter somewhere without a warrant, you know, like what the law says" and everyone just lets them

crime shows are like "this cop only feels bad about murdering a suspect after discovering that they were actually innocent, implying that the murder would have been okay if the person had really been guilty" and everyone just lets them

Crime shows are like “this suspect asks for a lawyer (making them seem guilty) after being harassed and beaten by the police but oh wait plot twist OF COURSE they were the criminal the whole time which makes it all okay actually” and everyone just lets them

LITERALLY and then crime shows are like "asking for a lawyer or demanding police come back with a warrant is an obvious sign of guilt instead of yknow just being your basic rights as a person" and then everyone just Believes them

I love the generational gap between emoji usage. Anyone over 50 sees 🙃 and thinks "silly time! whee 🙃", whereas the rest of us immediately hear, verbatim, "they ask you how you are, and you just have to say that you're fine, when you're not really fine, but you just can't get into it because they would ne--"
