Barnaby Joyce will not be a One Nation MP by the next election. David Farley will likely quit or be expelled by the end of this year.

What's missing from all this media obsession with how much One Nation is rising in the polls because of all the oxygen and hype the media is giving to it is the issue of longevity and stability. One Nation has never been stable. Barely any of its members maintain party allegiance after a year in office. Why aren't journalists bringing that up?

One Nation is not a viable alternative. It's the gutter where those too dysfunctional to be part of real political parties go to see if they can whip up enough racist scaremongering to keep their paycheck at the next election.

Homura knows on some level that she's messed up, that she's stuck herself in a miserable cycle of trying and failing to save someone she loves, that her wish was driven by a selfish desire to have Madoka love her (she wished to be the one who protects madoka after all, not to simply resurrect her), and now she cant even be close to Madoka because Madoka deserves better. But she can never admit that to herself because to do so would be to give in to despair and become a witch.

So how convenient that Sayaka is here, someone who has made all the Exact same mistakes as Homura, someone who made a selfish wish to save someone so they would love her, someone who can't be close to that person because they feel unworthy, someone who's stuck themselves in a miserable downwards to despair. Someone Homura can take her anger out on and be mad at for doing something so pointlessly stupid.

Homura and Sayaka are the same person and Homura hates her in lieu of hating herself.
