Or [insert specialism here]. If we gatekeep specialisms, those careers are only available for the ones who were privileged enough to have the background training. That’s why Classics as a degree subject is full of private school kids: it’s not offered in state education.

And then ART gets sucked into participating in the inane conversation within seconds.

very fun to picture from the outside how secunit often just freezes in place mid-rescue, staring into space, not responding to questions, and then twenty seconds later something distant blows up, the lights turn orange, and all the doors open. secunit looks proud of itself and moves on with zero explanation
