I hope you and your followers are having a good weekend so far.

I come in with some subtle (or not so) shade tonight. It's been awhile, but some things I've been seeing/hearing lately have made me chuckle a bit. Of course, this might be a bit too salty so please feel free to not post.

I think the word "privacy" is really funny sometimes because it's a double edged sword. Privacy or secrecy? Or both?

I love that the internet just started deciding for themselves what's real, what's not. What's for show. What's genuine. People on the internet learned what PR means and just ran with it like a joke. However, I wonder if some realize that the textbook definition of PR - public relations - is shaping the public perception of something, people or brand for example. And by that, it can mean whatever they want it to mean.

By the way, you know another word I think is funny? "Shy." 🤣

"I'm shy and anxious, and I don't like people to see me or pay attention to me. Therefore, I actively choose to be in a field where I have to present myself publicly to an audience. Over and over."

"I'm shy and I don't like attention. Therefore, whenever it's my birthday, I need to make sure everyone knows. But other things like, projects and work that I'm involved in, I won't post about them. I'll let others tag me and let others do the work, and if I feel like I like what I'm seeing or the attention it could get me, then I'll engage."

"I'm so shy and anxious and I want everyone to forget about me! That's why I really want to be in Hollywood. You know? Because it's such a great, private industry for introverted shy anxious attention hating people like me. Please don't look at me! Or only look at me when I want you to."

"I hate attention and I'm REALLY private. So I don't want anyone to know my business. Except you know, my parents, or my friend's parents or my friends or random people I've interacted with in the past or actually, total strangers on the internet. But ONLY them. Yeah, and they can share my business but I won't because I'm sooooo private!"
