I feel like usa dog people are much more often breed-oriented than brazilian dog people. I keep seeing these dog people memes where the dog people care about breed so much and like. Not true!!! All my dog people around here are proud mutt parents, myself included. We literally just acquire a dog from outside, bring them in, and they are now the household pet. Ofc working with a specific breed has it's value but a dog is a dog, you know. I have dog friends that weigh 1kg and dog friends that weigh more than I do. All of them are sweeties, most of them are mutts!!!

Adopting a 9 year old dog off the street is making people think I'm a better person than I actually am. I just like old dogs all she had to do was blink at me.
