Some of yâall (and you know who yâall are, @bunnys-kisses & @kittykattropicanna) are doing Godâs work with these Jail/Prison/Bluecollar!Simon fics.
They have something Iâm going to call âQuick-Wifeingâ, itâs my entire belief system, and I may have to make some 141 x reader, Quick-Wifeing situations.
which of the biker au boys if most likely so settle any club disputes in the ring? Whoâs training who, who is shadow boxing in the corner, and who is the one to watch out for if any of the other club members get them in the ring?
Also, just like general punk biker Soap? Gahhhh that gives me brainrot in the best way
Konig probably. Going by Konigâs voice lines, I think heâs characterized as a little sadistic, and the table would put that to use.
Konig is the SGT at Arms, so heâs generally used for disciplinary measures (when needed) as it is, but the ring is especially his domain. Whoever is stupid enough to go opposite himâŚwell..thatâs their fault.
Ghost is probably the one who trains everyone, keeps them sharp. I think they all can handle themselves pretty well, but Iâm sure he stays on top of that for every one. Besides Konig, I think heâs the most brutal, he just has more restraint. As VP (and as just Simon) he makes it his personal mission to see that every one of his guys gets home, so he needs them to be on their toes.
Shadow boxing would probably be Gaz. I see him as the least likely to enter the ring (though he 100% has, every member has), but the most into sharpening his hand-to-hand skills. Heâs probably more concerned about making sure heâs ready when somebody tests him, than blowing off steam. Though if he gets mad enough, heâs not above it.
The one to watch out for is Konig, and then I would say Ghost, but I think Price is the one most people get shocked by.Â
They either assume things because of his age (which isnât old but..), or they think heâs gotten more comfortable with a gun than with his hands. He was fighting in pubs before he shouldâve legally been in them, heâs not one to sleep on.
Anytime his boys get out of line, he's taking them to the ring for the equivalent of an adult spanking. Not a fun time being on his shit list.
He also enjoys it way more than he lets on, almost as much as Konig and Ghost.

We love punk biker!soap here. Heâs rocking the shaggy mullet mohawk in this AU. Itâs a pain in the ass with the helmet, but itâs worth it, itâs going nowhere.
Letâs talk piercings: Heâs got your standard industrial bar through one ear, 3 studs on the same ear, two on the other, and his nipples used to be pierced from a dare when he was a teenager.Â
He can be convinced to get them again ;).
He also has an adventurousâŚsouthern piercing. Moving on.
Even if youâre not into Punk music, you appreciate your boyfriendâs love for the genre. He has the most infectious joy about his interests.
His dorm wall is covered in tickets and passes that heâs acquired around several countries. Every time he lands in a new location, he befriends the underground scene.Â
Most of his friends outside of the club are in bands, or the general scene.Â
Caught an elbow to the forehead in a mosh pit when he got distracted by how pretty you are, and the fact that you were willing to brave a pit with him.Â
Didnât know he was bleeding until it ran over one eye.
âOh my god!â You gasped.
âHow it goes sometimes hen! Cannae get mad, just gotta roll with it!â He pulled you to the edge of the crowd. ââsides, Iâm good long as I can see ya. Even with one eye .â
I feel like biker Simon has a breeding kink too.đĽ´
Yes! I like the MBTI (though I acknowledge its flaws in classifying real people, I think it works perfectly for fictional characters).
Simon is most likely an INTJ, and Price an ENTJ. I think theyâre very similar (I believe Gaz and Soap are the same except ISFP/ESFP respectively).
So Iâd say heâs as bad as Price, heâd just be more subtle once he realizes how he feels.
Simon would probably trick you into thinking you were the one who convinced him to develop a breeding kink. But donât be fooled.
ââ-
âYou just have to find a kid at every party.â Simon, who was resting his head on the top of yours, purposely dug his chin into your scalp.
âStop it,â you gently elbowed him in the ribs, careful to avoid jostling the happy little toddler in your arms. âI wonât apologize for kids loving me, itâs a good trait.â
The little girl had wandered over after you and Simon had settled on a blanket by the bonfire. The club and its associates were spread out all around you in the soft grass. The two of you had settled with each other to wind down from the party, only to be joined by a memberâs daughter.
Simon had watched the brave little explorer wander over on unsure feet. She was enthralled with the pretty bracelets that littered your arm. Youâd smiled, jingling the charms, and her little face lit up, hands clapping. She fell over into your lap, her wobbly legs finally giving out, and Simon bit the inside of his cheek against the warmth that flooded his chest.
This could be you and his kid someday. He could see it so clearly, that he almost missed you telling the girlâs mom youâd watch her for a bit.
He waited till the mom walked off before he leaned down, lips against your ear. âDonât get attached, you have to give her back.â
The girl was happily babbling in your arms, responding to your cooing.
âLetâs go find you some cake and leave grumpy Uncle Simon by himself.â
You looked so good with her on your hip. It came so naturally to you. He started fantasizing again. He imagined a swell in your stomach under the tempting sundress (the one that made you both late to the party) you wore.
He could see you palming it, people asking you questions about the baby, and you talking more than you normally did in excitement.
Eager to tell the world about the life you two collaborated on.
When you walked back over with her, he could see your face glowing. You settled on the blanket, and he pulled you both into his arms. You said something, sarcastic most likely, but he was too focused on the girl holding out a piece of her cake to him.
Her pudgy hand waved it impatiently, pouting because he didnât take her offering immediately. Simon leaned down and ate the cake from her hand, purposely nibbling her fingers, and sending her into a fit of giggles.
âThank you fâthat lovie. Was famished.â He couldnât help the smile that curved his lips, the girlâs joy was too infectious.
He found you staring at him when he glanced at you.
âI donât think Iâm the one whoâs going to have a problem giving her back.â
âYouâre imagining things. Donât lose it on me now bird, â He cupped your lower stomach, large hands squeezing slightly. âNeed you sane for our future babies. Itâs all your fault after all.â

1.) Nobody asked for this, but here I am combining two obsessions. Congrats, youâre a bikerâs old lady now đ.
Any media with hot guys in a group should have outlaw MC AUs
2.) I love roughneck Simon. Please give me more of him. I wanna talk about the guys in this AU so badly, donât (DO) feed my inbox. BlueCollar!Simon, Mafia!Simon, Mechanic!Simon, Idc I love it all.Â
3.) If you saw this before, no you didnât (plus I added more to it). I decided to keep them all together, and itâll just be long as hell. A long fic stored under a cut never hurt nobody.đ¤ˇđžââď¸
Simon
Nobody can get him as soft as you. Thereâs a 3-ringed barrier around his heart. Outsiders < The Club < You.
He loves doing mundane things with you, the kind of things he never saw for himself when he swore to stay single in this life. Like, after a good run fattens his wallet, letting you run wild in the shops.
âCâmon on then lovie, give us a spin.â
You squealed, spinning so the soft fabric fanned around your upper thighs. âI love it! But Si, itâs too much.â
âYou let me worry about that sweetheart. Just let me see how it looks cominâ offa ya.â He gripped the very thighs you teased him with, eager for his favorite part besides your smile.
Heâd pick up as many extra runs as it took to keep you in small luxuries, as long as he was the one that got to keep that look on your face.
They all have tattoos, but Simon is the king. His body art is top notch, because heâs very discerning with his artists. Heâs had the best from Europe to the States. Now, he only trusts Priceâs old lady, Johnny, and you.Â
In fact, thatâs how you met. You started your apprenticeship under an asshole who bailed before it was over, and took a chance on the dangerous shop everyone warned you away from. Mrs. Price was everything you were afraid of AT FIRST. You later understood it was because the shop is 141 affiliated, and she had to be harshly discerning to protect herself and her family.
Once you got over that phase, she was unendingly sweet, and dedicated to helping you hone your craft.Â
Simon saw you when he came to fix the sink in the shopâs little kitchen. You were the only one there, intensely focused on a practice skin arm.
You were beautiful, hair wild from you tugging at in concentration, and your tongue poking out slightly. How long had you been working here?
âI knew you needed a hand around here, but thatâs a bit far isnât it?â
You jumped, startled out of your practice, the buzz of the tattoo gun stopping. âOh my god! I donât know what scared me more, you, or that joke.â
The two of you kept each other company in your respective tasks, until he was done. In admitting you were aching to do a real tattoo again, he found himself volunteering on instinct.Â
At first you resisted, worried about the ethics in your mentorâs shop, and he came up with the genius idea of going back to your place. Smooth Simon.
By the end of the night he was sure heâd never need another artist again.
Heâs often as busy as Price, sometimes more so. It takes a lot to run a charter as is, but to establish a table so far from home calls on him more than any other era in his time with the club. On top of that, he often pulls double duty, acting as an enforcer with Konig.
Thatâs where he really appreciates you understanding, and accepting, his lifestyle. Youâve made a home for him, and he only hopes he conveys how much he appreciates that.
â
He comes home with a headache taking up residence in every corner of his head more and more these days. It was all he could do to kick his boots off, and not collapse on the nearest thing that could hold his weight. His room felt miles away. Downside of living in the dorms.
He drug himself to the clubhouse kitchen, prepared to dig around for some painkillers, when he saw a post-it note on the island next to a napkin with two pills.
Ignore if not Si!
Dinner in the fridge + cake in the dish on the counter. Eat and get your ass in bed with me.
:)
He chuckled, headache long forgotten when he realized you were in his bed. However, his heart and stomach wouldnât let him ignore the home cooked meal in the fridge, and once heâd savored every bite, he was a blur on his way to his room.
You were curled up in one of his shirts, sleeping soundly on the side of the bed he favored. He stripped, leaving his clothes on the floor, only stopping to deposit his kutte on the dresser, before scooping you into his arms.
âSi..â you murmured sleepily, burying your face in his chest, seeking something to lay on after being picked up.
ââs alright sweet pea.â
âGlad youâre home, donât let go.â You were slightly more awake now, but not by much.
âWas never an option.â He got into bed, relaxing in the warm spot you left behind, and situated you next to him in his arms.Â
Assuming big spoon position, his hands roamed your form, finding momentary purchase wherever they could. He felt a little guilty for further waking you up, but it occurred to him that you must have seen the day heâd had, and had taken the time to attempt to make it a little better. You could be home in your own bed, but you chose to be there for him. He was starving for you.
His lips created the same desperate patterns across your cheek and neck that his hands created on your body. He gripped your thigh, giving the plush skin a squeeze, before hooking your leg back over his.
There was a sharp inhale of air from you, and you pushed back against him, undoubtedly feeling him firming.
He laid his other arm under your head, letting you lay your cheek against his arm as he grasped your face. He tilted it up to grant more access to your skin for his lips.
âTaking care of me pretty bird?â
âItâs what you deserve, baby.â You slurred, squirming in sensory overload at all of his attention.
âSwear mâ going flat hunting tomorrow.â His fingers skimmed over your covered heat, grinning when your lower half bucked.
ââs what you deserve sweetheart. Somewhere to put all your nesting to good use.â
You moaned rolling your hips back into your solid wall of a man. âDonât tease me, I canât help it.â
Heâs been called on to do many dark things for the club. Price doesnât leave room at the table for anyone not to pull their weight, and heâs even tougher on his titled men. However, the darker jobs fall on Simon more often than anyone else, because heâs thorough, and can put the deed away somewhere, somehow, every time.Â
When he pulls on his mask, and just surrenders to being no one but Ghost, heâs ready to work. He never cared what anyone thought about his actions, he never had to, until you.Â
Youâd been around rough crowds in your lifetime, but Simon was a career criminal, and so was his found family. He was sure some recollection of his deeds would reach you, and thatâd be your line. In fact, he was waiting on it.
He was shocked, truly floored, to find that wasnât what triggered you. It was how you felt he was being utilized. You didnât like, what you felt, was the unequal distribution of the extreme jobs, and you told him as much.
When he got over his shock, his reaction was fiercely defensive of the club. It was your turn for shock, but he couldnât help it. He felt judged about the family that owned his loyalty, by the woman that owned his heart.Â
You were taken aback by his ferocity, but it didnât change your view. It created a hotbed of tension that threatened what the two of you had built, until he understood why you felt so strongly. Simon was the one taken aback when he realized your intensity came from your love for him, not a judgement of the 141. He still couldnât wrap his head around someone loving him to that degree. In his heart of hearts, he didnât think he was worthy of that. Thatâs how he was supposed to, and did, love you.
He admitted as much when the tired topic reached a fever pitch.
Simonâs close cropped blonde hair was riddled with evidence heâd been running long, frustrated fingers through it. Those same fingers pulled a cigarette from his pack,, and lit it with a calmness that didnât reflect the current mood.
âSo now you tell me what I can and canât do? That it then?â
You snapped at the accusation, breaking the promise youâd made to yourself not to raise your voice. âIâm not telling you what you can and canât do, stop reframing what I fucking say!â
âGrow the fuck up, youâre not a bloody baby. You knew what I did when we got together. I protect the group, Iâm meant to be the first line of defense. I pull my weight, my life be damned!â
Your eyes widened in shock at the underlying implication of his words. His own expression wasnât familiar enough to you for you to place.
âThe table doesnât make me do the ugly bits, most times I volunteer.â He flicked ash onto the pavement, his finger tapping with more force than necessary. âWhether I die, or get pinched, I can be replaced. âs my job to stand in front of the ones that canât.â
His chest heaved with trapped frustration, voice guttural, raw with emotion. âThatâs my use.â
You couldnât place a time where your heart had ever hurt for anyone the way it hurt for him in that moment. It was a physical pain, pin pricking across your chest in a wave, and momentarily halting your ability to speak. You loved this man, fuck the moon, he hung galaxies in your eyes, and thatâs what he thought of himself?
Simon, studying your expression and not liking the shame it made him feel, turned away. He didnât know what to do with shame, especially in front of you. Heâd said too much, and his mind was racing to find a way to undo it. Stiffening at the feeling of your arms barely meeting around his large form, he fought the urge to pull away.
Your voice was shaky, laden with the tears you didnât bother fighting the fruitless fight to stop. âI wish I could get you to understand how untrue that is. I wish I knew where to start.â
He turned back around, but refused to meet your eyes. That startled you. Simon had never been afraid to lock eyes with you. He backed down from no one.
âWasnât an answer you liked then lovie? Sorry to disappoint.â He said quietly, taking a last drag before he ended the cigarette under his boot, and walked off back towards the clubhouse.
Tears streamed down your face at a faster rate now, and you tried in vain to swipe them away quickly. You werenât sure what to say. Not then, too much was in the air as it was, and things needed to cool, but this clearly wasnât settled
You only knew what you wanted to do. Hold him. Hold him until he saw how fucked his outlook was, and how much worth he really had.
Long out of town rides to create a bubble with just you and him. No specific destination, you just ride until you can both believe youâre the only two people you know.
He throws you a surprise party when you get certified as a tattoo artist, and Mrs. Price releases you from your apprenticeship to a chair of your own.
No one can believe Ghost is throwing someone any kind of party, but they donât dare deny him as he enlists them in different tasks. He took the whole thing very seriously, and left no room for mistakes. No one, not even Soap, was careless enough to spoil the surprise. Simon wanted perfection.
It was obvious to anyone who watched his love struck gaze follow you when you were around, but if anyone doubted it before, they didnât now. This man loves you.
Simon sometimes comes to you with a design heâs made for his next tattoo. Itâs never elaborate, and itâs usually more utilitarian than aesthetic. He trusts you to make it pretty, he knows you will. He just wants to better convey his idea, or so you think.
In reality, he just likes when you praise him, and he can be part of your passion. Heâs constantly amazed by your artistry, and humbled that you let him be a part of it. Essentially, you two collaborate on his tattoos in an undeniably intimate way.
He unceremoniously comes to you with a scrap of paper, something heâs sketched over the past few days.
âSomethinâ fâya to look over when you get the chance.â He mutters before giving you a long kiss and leaving the shop.
You study the lines, shaky but serviceable, and the design clear. Your mind immediately began to think of ways to tie it into his existing tattooâs style and his tastes. All the while, you kicked your feet, ecstatic that once again, the most complex person you knew was trusting you with this responsibility.
Si had some serious, high quality pieces on his body, and he thought enough of your hand to add to that.
Simon is usually more affectionate when youâre alone. In public, itâs mostly gliding fingers across your back, or a quick brush of his lips across your forehead. BUT, sometimes his intrusive thoughts win, and he has to slap your ass. This can happen anywhere, anytime.
Youâre bent over the tattoo chair, disinfecting and scrubbing, and you swear you hear his hand cutting through air before you feel the smack.
âSi!â
âYou put it there sweetheart.â
Shooting range dates. Youâve been judged by some of your moreâŚconventional friends, but youâre a gun girlie (which turns Simon on like nothing heâs ever experienced), and you donât care. They tried to make you feel like he was being inconsiderate taking you there. Meanwhile, it was damn near your demand.
Simon loves having friendly competitions, random kisses, and exchanging shitty jokes. Seeing you get excited, and engaging in a little tech/spec talk about a gun you love, gets Simon bricked up in 10 seconds flat.
You truly believe heâs taken you in hidden parts of the range more than either of your beds at this point.
Makes you keep track of football season when heâs away. Almost put you in a box and mailed you far away from him when you assumed he meant American football season.
âDonât ever hurt me like that again lovie, I wonât be held responsible.â
Punishes you with edging and cockwarming if you miss any important details. Itâs especially excruciating when heâs just returned, and all you want is him to stretch you out. Simon is a mean dom, and he wonât be moved by sympathy.
âPlease Si, I only missed one game.â you whined, trying to get him to come back to where heâd just spent time building you up to fall on his tongue, only to pull away at the last second.
He smirked, rising to his feet which clued you into the fact that he really wasnât going to finish you off then. âThatâs a bad girl. Have the missing orgasm to match.â
ââ-
Gaz:
Lives for where you live. Your little house is his home away from home. Sometimes the gang can be on business that keeps them on the road for weeks, and the last thing he wants when he comes back, is to continue to be locked in close quarters with other guys.
Thatâs when you know heâs skipping clubhouse life to crash with you for a while. You love it as much as him.
Scented candles and incense, sweet laundry detergent, soft materials, home cooked meals. Itâs such a soft juxtaposition to his previous journey.Â
Your hands are all over him, soothing bruises and kissing him over in mapped out patterns only known to you.
Kyle may not know the difference between a single thing on your beauty table, or much about the things in your bathroom cabinets, but he knows he loves how it all smells/looks on you when heâs running his nose across your skin.
âBaby, I gotta get ready for work.âÂ
Kyle hummed in acknowledgement, but kept you pinned to the overstuffed couch, kissing your thighs in his own personal ritual. The two of you had been sequestered away for two days since heâd been back, but he still couldnât get enough of you.
âBe good for me love, I wonât make you late.â
âLiar.â You giggled when he pinched you in retaliation. âIf you do what it feels like youâre about to do, I wonât make it to the shop until noon.â
âNot a liar babe, you know that better than anyone else.â He pushed your knees up until they pressed against your chest. âI promise, youâll be the first one there. Canât say in what state though.â
Being the club secretary, it may seem like Kyle has the plushier job at the table. Wrong. He sees as much action as the other guys, and he likes to stay in shape. Thatâs fine by you, because you reap the benefits when you get to watch him working out at your place.
Kyle Garrick doing burpees and up-downs in your tiny backyard, clad in nothing but gray sweat shorts, and a thin gold chain against his chest, isnât a sight that should be free. Yet, after Kyle has finished his mission of witnessing you walk funny at least once, itâs a sight youâre treated to when he sinks back into his home routine.
You somehow think youâre safe to creep-watch from the back doorway while you enjoy your green tea, even though Kyle catches you every time. He just always knew when your eyes were on him.
Without even turning to give you a look he called your name, laughing softly. âI should start charging admission.â
âI was thinking the same thing!â You stuck your tongue out at his back, slamming the door when he revealed he somehow saw that too.
Kyle comes to the salon and hangs with you between appointments. Sometimes he watches you work, and fake flirts with customers to get you more money. Heâs great for business.
âCost a little extra, yeah? But myself, I love a bird that sweats the details.â Kyleâs brown eyes and bright smile were a lethal combination against free will, you knew this for a fact.
The soccer mom in your chair ducks her head under his attention, cheeks filling in with red, as she tells you she changed her mind about the rhinestones.
You appreciate the efforts towards fattening your wallet, but sometimes heâs so effective, you get annoyed and drag him to the break room to remind him you own him.
When you ride with him, he loves looking down and seeing the pretty designs of your nails grasping his chest. Something about the contrast of hot pink, or pearlescent purple against the black leather of his kutte does it for him.
Kyle is definitely on the calmer side most times, especially for his lifestyle, but the fastest way to break that is someone meaning you harm.
You were out at a crowded club with the 141, their ladies, and some friends of the club. It was a celebration of good finances and a successful legal dodge.Â
The guys clung to a dark VIP section, there for the drinks and victory lap more than the dancing. On the other hand, you and the other girls were not there to sit idle.Â
After a tense few months, the cause of your respective relationship ups and downs with the guys, you guys deserved to cut loose. The table agreed, with your men shouting words of encouragement and flirtatious innuendo to hype you up.
The whole bar was enthralled by you and the other girlâs dancing, singing, and general untethered energy. It was contagious. You especially, you had a few drinks in you, and all that could currently keep your attention was the music.
There was, unfortunately, one outsider who got a little too enthralled with the performance.
When you peeled away from the group, following the uptempo rhythm, he thought that was his time to make his move.
You felt him press up against you while your eyes were closed, assuming it was Kyle, you almost ground back against him. Then you smelt the liquor. Kyle liked a drink like everyone else, and youâd even seen him drunk, but this was someone whoâd been at it for a while. Disgustingly sour, too close, and ultimately not your man.
You sent a sharp hit back with your elbow, turning to confirm what you knew. It wasnât Kyle. He grunted, but pushed forward again making you hold your hand up in a warning.
âI donât think so.â you waved him off, laughing at the prospect of entertaining him.
Angered by your laughter, he got bolder, shouting to be heard. âWell I think so, but Iâm real interested in knowing why you donât.â
âBecause I said what I said, and I have a man.â You were tipsy, but there was an underlying fire to your words lending them solidity. âFuck off!â
He bristled at another dismissal. âBitc-â
Kyle had appeared, most likely having started making his way to you once the man got too close, and clapped him on the shoulder. His expression said that he had heard at least some of what was said.
âHi baby!â You shouted, a little loud even for the club, but that made it endearing. âThatâs my man.â You told the asshole.
âUse your ears before I send you home carrying them.â He was gripping the manâs shoulder so tightly you should see the sharp knuckle bones flexing, his rings catching the light.
The man looked at the kutte, and the expression on Kyleâs face, and the exact moment he realized the man would act on the threat literally became apparent.
If that wasnât enough, you had the ladies at your back, and the table alert and waiting for the call. It was over for the bastard before it even started.
He raised his hands and scurried into the crowd, aiming for the door.
âI love you baby.â You crooned, throwing your arms around him and covering his face with kisses.
He laughed. âI love you too, even when I know Iâm going to be holding your pretty hair back all day.â
When the gang has to have a tense table vote in a briefing, their equivalent to some other mcâs âchurchâ, you always wait for Kyle. As secretary, itâs his job to gather information on other gangs, as well as any important changes in the area, and his council is called on first.
Youâre waiting for him right after, inviting him back to your house for the night, knowing he wonât want to stay in his dorm. He wonât show it then, but heâs disappointed, and when you get him home, you let him vent to his mindâs content.
All the while, youâre drawing him a bath, doing a light skin routine on his face, greasing his scalp, and curling up on the couch with his back against your chest.
You know his brothers have his best interest at heart, and respect his role in the club, but sometimes he can get in his head about it, and thatâs when you step in.
ââ-
Soap:
Johnny kept his lifestyle a secret from you at first. Youâd only been hooking up for a couple of weeks before you both confessed to wanting more.
The crew had mocked him relentlessly about his inability to keep a relationship casual.Â
âGive it up mate, you ainât even foolinâ yourself!â Gaz had clapped him on the back, laughing right in his face. âYou start up with a girl right, and itâs over. Youâre looking for a house by sunup.â
âOch, piss off with ya! I can keep it casual!â Indignant, and maybe a little drunk, he elbowed the man on the other side of him. âTell emâ Ghost.â
Simon glanced at him sideways, bourbon halfway to his lips, careful it didnât spill due to the prodding. âJohnny, some pretty bird starts chirpinâ in your ear and itâs curtains. Now fuck off.â
He couldnât believe his friends, no â brothers, had such little faith in him.
Cut to a few days later, with him balls deep in you, confessing he wanted more.Â
âIâll be good to ya bon, I swear it. Iâm all for ya, just be for me?â
The only thing that lessened the embarrassment of proving his friends right, was that you seemed relieved, and admitted it was what you wanted too.
He couldnât help it. Ever since heâd been patched in, besides the camaraderie, he was enamored with the relationship between Price and his old lady. There were plenty of solid old lady/old man pairings around him, but something about the way the club queen cared for her man, kept the other girls in order, and still maintained a life for herself was astounding to watch.
He couldnât help chasing that in every girl heâd gotten with since heâd joined up. So many girls wanted the mystique of a sexy biker, but thatâs all he was for them. Either a living dildo, or an attraction they could make their friends jealous with. Things never got very far outside of the bedroom. Except once, but that didnât go over so well in the end.
He wanted that ride or die bond so badly, he couldnât wait to have the perfect old lady to wife up and fill a house with brats.Â
With you, he prayed he was it for you, because you had quickly become it for him.Â
You were a good girl. Specifically, his good girl now. He felt it was highly unlikely you would go for his lifestyle, and so he kept it under wraps at first. He knew he had to tell you at some point, but he wanted to soak up as much time as he could in case you checked out.
âNah sweetheart, itâs nah like that. We get a little rough, but mainly, we just appreciate bikes.â
âDo ya think I have what it takes to be in a criminal organization? And with ya not knowinâ no less!?â
âLetâs talk about something else bon, did ya ken your thighs look cute warming my ears?â
Guilt eating through him like acid, especially when the club picks up on the fact that he hasnât brought you around. Anytime Soap has a girl in his bed more than once, heâs parading around the club with her in no time. They know thereâs something special about you, and that baffles them even more. Soap claims itâs because you live one town over, which you do, but Gaz calls him on his shit.
Heâs hyper defensive, and fights until heâs blue in the face before he admits itâs true. Heâs afraid youâll turn out like the others, or reject him all together. Heâs so far gone at this point, heâd rather you use him than leave him.
Price doesnât like it, and councils him against lying to you any further for numerous reasons. Soap promises heâll tell you soon, but heâs trying to convince himself as well as his president.
Eventually he couldnât hide it anymore, but it wasnât exactly his choice when the curtain got pulled back.Â
The two of you had been to a late movie, Johnny finally having had time to squeeze in a date with you after a series of back-to-back runs. Youâd suggested coming to him for once to take the burden off. Before he could object, youâd admitted that you were already in town, and heâd rushed to meet you.Â
Though he was nervous about you hearing something, or seeing someone off-color that he knew, he couldnât deny he loved the day he spent with you.
He never needed a reason to want to kiss you, but something about your soft smile under the parking lot lights compelled him right then. Maybe because your expression said just how content you were to be with him, and he buried that in his heart.
âWait a minute.â He stopped you, lips on yours before you could ask why.
Parking lots didnât exactly get safer as they got darker, and emptier, but he couldnât stop once his lips touched yours. Then you started tugging on the curly hair of his Mohawk like you did when youâd really gotten into things.
He was just about to suggest he stay over at your place, when you were interrupted by a cop. You assumed he was going to warn you about loitering and apologized, but he and Johnny knew that wasnât what it was about. He called Johnny âSoapâ, and you were confused as to how they knew each other.
âOh, Scotboy here goes back with the law a long ways back home.â The cop tried to clap Johnny on the shoulder only for him to violently dodge it. âEasy. Iâm not booking you on anythingâŚtonight.â
You were at a loss for what the cop thought he could book Johnny on, and called it out as harassment. Johnny knew, by the sick expression on his face, that the cop was eager to spill it all once he realized how little you knew about the man you were clutching. He tried to prevent that from happening.
âYeah well, youâre just wastinâ time then, and we have a drive.â Johnnyâs arm tightened around your shoulder as he started to lead you away.
âSweetheart, I donât know what heâs told you, but if you were my daughter Iâd want you to know. Thatâs a dangerous man youâre on the arm of.â
âShut up.â Johnny growled, and he knew you had to be thinking about how youâd never seen him like this, but heâd also never been this angry around you.
âJohnnyâŚâ you pushed at him to try and get him to move, but he was rooted in rage.
He knew where the cop was taking it.
âThis was when you were a prospect back in England right? The number you did on the guys from that other charterâŚinterpol still talks about it. Oh waitâŚthey never proved it was you did they?â
Johnny thumbed his nose and sniffed, jutting out his chin in utter opposition of the man in front of him. âNah, wasnae even in the country at the time.â
âThatâs right. Youâll have to forgive me, Iâve only read the reports our precinct got when you boys moved to town.â The obnoxious officer bounced his palm off his forehead in a mock gesture.
Johnny felt you squeeze his arm, grounding him for the moment, and he thought you might be saying something. His ears sounded like the Grand Rapids ran through them. A hot rage was settling into his chest, and spilling into other parts of his being.
The smug expression of the cop, one of the ones on the force whoâd made things personal with the club was
âJohnny!â You shook him, finally getting through to him. âI want to leave.â
He exhaled, softening at your expression. Little tremors of adrenaline wracked through him, but he still led you towards his bike by a firm grip.
âYou know, they included pictures in those files they sent over. What you did to those guys..â The cop whistled from behind you.
Johnny helped you into your helmet, watching as your eyes raced with questions, but you were so good for him. You would wait to ask him.Â
He brushed his thumbs over the apples of your cheeks. âIgnore him bon. Whatever he says, please.â
âBut, the real shame is what happened to Anna.â The cop continued.
In a straight shot, Johnny launched himself at him. âShut your fuckinâ mouth!â
âThey cut her up pretty bad. Was her nose always on the side of her-â
â
He knew it was bait, and he admitted as much later, but heâd taken the active grenade in his hand all the same. The wounds that piece of shit poked were too raw not to, on top of probably killing everything between you and him.Â
Everything was designed to hit a critical point in him. His past deeds, Anna, and most importantly, you.
All he could think about was if he was going to lose you after tonight, there was no way he wasnât going to make it count all over the bastardâs face.
The local police had been looking for something, anything, to get the club on, but theyâd been too careful. Thatâs what Price had told you on the way to the precinct. Johnny had dialed for you while the cop was getting back to his feet.
âWas any of what he said true?â You were clutching your purse the way you had since youâd gotten into the car with Price and the clubâs lawyer.
âI donât know what you mean love?â Price looked at you cooly, not giving anything away, though you were sure he knew what you meant.
âNever mind.â You shook your head. âI know itâs true. Did Johnny really hurt those guys? Whoâs Anna?â
Price kept his eyes on the road, while the lawyer kept his attention on his phone. The air couldnât have been more tense,
âYou should talk to your boy sweetheart. Donât let some future desk-riding prick make you doubt the man whoâd rip out his own heart just to show you itâs yours.â
You swallowed, hard, and didnât say anything else until you got to the station.
âUmâŚI think Iâm just going to Uber home. Tell Johnny Iâll call him.â
Price nodded, but his look was disapproving. ââm sorry to hear that,â he adjusted his dark beanie. âBut if thatâs what you think is best.â
You did not call him. Not later when you were sure he had been released, and not the next day. You wouldnât even open the never-ending text thread between you two.
He texted you early enough to be apologetic about it, and you had to push your phone to the far side of your bed to stop yourself from responding.
You went about your daily routine, getting ready for your shift at the diner. Your one room apartment didnât allow you the luxury of pretending your phone wasnât blowing up with text messages, but you were too afraid youâd cave if you saw the screen while attempting to silence it.
He showed up at the diner, and you pretended to be too busy in the back until he left.
He waited outside of your place, but you wouldnât come down, going so far as to turn off the lights when you realized he was there.
No call was answered, no text replied to.
Johnny was a wreck. So much so, that as furious as Price and Ghost had been, as much as theyâd come down on him, they werenât sure heâd even heard it. They saw his regret, he did have his brothers and their families in mind, along with the fact that he was a higher ranked member who set a piss poor example for prospects and basic members.Â
The fact that his stunt couldâve cost them their freedom. He saw all of that.
But he was HURTING. Physically, mentally, emotionally. It was all Johnny could do to roll out of bed and do the basics before he crawled back again.Â
All the club girls dropped by his dorm. Some to be flirtatious, which he lashed out at, some to show sympathy.Â
Mrs. Price and Ghostâs girl were especially gentle. Itâs the darkest period in Johnnyâs life, even when factoring in the Anna situation. Itâs clear to all around him, youâre it for him. His soul is yours, and heâs dying without you.
It was Simon who came to you and changed your mind. He couldn't take seeing Johnny that way. The whole table was worried, but Johnny was a little brother to the taciturn specter. Heâd only see him like this once before, and this was ten times worse.
In the early afternoon, the dinerâs customers were nothing but truckers and elderly folks. So when the 6â4 blond with trunk-thick arms, and a permanent scowl walked in, there was no ignoring him. You noticed the kutte, and thought about making a break for the back, but his look said âtry itâ, and you thought better of it.
Instead, you wound up in a back booth with him, taking your 15 minute break.Â
ââm not the preachinâ sort, so Iâll get on with it.â He stared right through you, lighting a cigarette. ââs no business of mine what you and Johnny decide to do, but you need to talk to him.â
You started to tell him no smoking, but didnât feel like exerting the effort. Let your boss deal with it if it mattered.
Your hands trembled, so you put them beneath the table in your lap. âIf itâs none of your business, then why are you here?â
âBecause, itâs destroying him. Youâre destroying him.â He turned for a moment to exhale away from your face, and then his gaze was cutting right back to you. âLadâs a mess and a half without you. Weâve tried to sort him out, but itâs gonna take you.â
âHe lied to me!â the exclamation left your mouth without a thought to volume control, and you pointedly ignored the stares you knew were at your back.
âYou knew.â he said simply. âYou may not have known the specifics, and we told him not to do it that way, but you knew.â
Your mouth opened and closed repeatedly, trying to express the million thoughts in your head.
âYou may be a town over, but our name gets around. I know youâve heard somethinâ.â He tipped the ash in the glass of water youâd gotten him. âYouâre a smart bird by Johnnyâs account.â
âIf you told him not to lie, then why are you telling me not to be upset?â
ââm not, âm tellinâ you to hear him out. Put him out of his misery, whatever you decide.â
The man left the booth, standing back to his full height and casting a shadow over the booth.
âHeâs a right fuckinâ mess. Loves you more than life.â
âMore than Anna?â The name that had been swirling around in your mind came out in a semi-bitter question.
There was something that could have possibly been a flinch, but you werenât sure. It made you regret mentioning it either way.
He stubbed out the cigarette. âHeâll be round yours by the time you get off.â
He was. Looking completely unconfident and nervous about being there. His eyes were bloodshot, and his beloved mohawk showed signs of too many anxious tugs.Â
This wasnât what you were used to with the confident man, and you didnât like it. You understood, you looked the same way, but you didnât like it.
He was apologizing constantly, between spilling streams of exposition that only served to confuse you, instead of clearing things up. You finally had to tell him it would just be easier if you could ask questions instead, and he sat back and became an open book.
It went all evening, and then well into the morning. Every question led into lengthy conversation.
â
âWhoâs Anna?â
â...A good lass who didnât deserve what she got.â
â
âSo itâs definitely more than just appreciating bikes. Why?â
âTheyâre my family, and theyâve always had my back while lettinâ me be myself. If I have to do somethinâ a lil dodgy now and then, thatâs a small price to pay.â
â
âI donât doubt you love me Johnny, you make it impossible to, but how can I trust you after this?â
âBy takinâ the chance to believe me when I say Iâd rather die than go through this again. If honesty brings you back to me, Iâll never leave it out again.â
The sun is rising by the time the two of you are talked out. You make him stay, seeing that his sleep deprivation was starting to collect its due. It was you who didnât sleep while you pet his hair from where he laid on your lap, and thought over your feelings.
He wakes when you inform him he has a phone call. He tells you to answer it, and you realize itâs a gesture towards the honest leaf turn.Â
He took the time to honesty dump with you, so you admit to him that while youâre still hurt, your mind's made up about taking him back.
It should have frightened you how quickly you sank back into things with Johnny, but what actually frightened you was the reason why. You realized you were just as addicted to him as he was to you. How had you lasted the past couple of weeks?
Itâs a mutual obsession, only strengthened by a period of absence. Something he vowed would never happen again.
You let him give you your first tattoo, and you even let him pick the design. He couldnât believe you trusted him with the honor, and he wound up asking if you were sure five times.
âBaby, yes!â you laughed, squeezing his cheeks as a form of cute aggression over his heart eyes.Â
This was such an intimate act for him, that he made sure you were completely alone in his dorm room when the day came. The room is spotless for once, sanitized to government standards. You canât help but notice that heâs lit candles in your favorite scent, and his playlist is all soft music for once.
He spent weeks sketching the perfect concept, and even created variations for your choosing. He went through soooo many pages, unwilling to settle when it came to his girl.
In the end, it was decided, and he got to work on the inner wrist tattoo. All the while, he was checking in with you to make sure you were good.
âItâs just a small piece baby, Iâm ok.â You always pressed a kiss to his nose to reassure him and get him back to work.
He looked so handsome, locked in concentration, that it almost completely distracted from the pain. Youâd seen him work before, and you loved it, but this wasnât just work right now. He was giving you something important, and you sensed that.Â
When he finally finished, he sheepishly, almost fearfully, asked you what you thought.
âItâs everything Johnny. When everyone asks whoâs the talent behind it, I canât wait to say heâs my man.â
Soap has no regard for anyone or any place when he wants you, which is all the time. Youâre all over the clubhouse together. The couches, the hallways, the armory. Officially, clubhouse outer-walls are your spots during cookouts.
Gaz walked into the storage room, focused on finding a part for a customer. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed you through the empty space on a tall shelf.
âHi, eh, Kyle!â All that was visible was your face, and he wondered for a second why you were out of breath.
âHey (Y/N), whatâre you doing back here?â He gave you a side glance and smile, his attention mainly on the organized shelves.
âIâm..â you bit your lip, unable to form another word as your eyes rolled back.
Kyle froze, realizing what was happening. âAre you fuckinâ kidding me mate?!â
âYou walked in on us!â Johnnyâs indignant cry came from below his line of vision.
Sooo many lunch break dates. Technically, Johnny is on shift at the garage, and should be preparing for the next dayâs run, but his best girl needs him :( . You work so hard at that cafe, and they never appreciate you. Not like he does.
So when he takes the work pickup truck to get you, knowing Price has told him a million times itâs not for that, he canât be bothered to care.
âJohnny, tell me you did not go across town to buy me this sandwich.â You already knew the answer, and you wanted to scold him for neglecting himself again. âYouâre gonna be late getting back to the shop!â
âYou love it though. What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didnât take care of ya.âÂ
âThatâs not the point, you-â
âYouâre so pretty baby.â
And you melt and forget to be upset.
You canât stay mad at Johnny with heart eyes and loving, grabby hands. Especially when those grabby hands start to get a little more focusedâŚ
What happens in the work truck, stays in the work truck. Until he gets drunk and brags at a club partyâŚ.
The fun times were well and good, but Soap knew that the day would come when you got a glimpse at the uglier parts of the life. He barely got you back, and you throwing up your hands and declaring it was all too much was all he could think about.
Theyâd been having issues with the Shadows MC, and it was starting to boil over. They didnât like the 141 moving in on their territory, but his table had made it clear that wasnât up to them. This resulted in many skirmishes he could keep under wraps, but then it came to a head.
Theyâd hit the Shadows hard at one of their core locations, and in preparation for retaliation, Price and Ghost had called a lockdown. This meant all old ladies, kids, and friends of the club were to hunker down at the club compound until they gave the ok.
The day was here, and heâd been dreading it. He couldnât very well leave you out there, he hadnât exactly been subtle that you were his girl, but surely you wouldnât go for it.
Nothing had been asked of you so far, and he was trying his best to keep from burdening you like the typical old lady. He felt youâd be less likely to leave if he kept the weightier things from you.
He must have paced up and down your street in the dark for over an hour. His phone was blowing up with demands he âget his ass back to the compoundâ with you, âNOWâ, but he had to do it right. It wasnât easy to say âWe mowed down some of our enemies, and destroyed their operation, and some guys could make you pay for that.â
He could lose you tonight. He could relive his past.
When he finally did get up the nerve to tell you, he was shocked at how well you took it. He knew you were scared, and you couldnât have been too happy either, but he loved you for your strength in that moment.Â
All you did was quietly pack, while his mouth ran a mile-a- minute. Swinging wildly between telling jokes, assuring you youâd fit in just fine with the other old ladies, and apologizing. You kept telling him you were fine, but your smile didnât reach your eyes.
It took a week to beat the Shadows back. In that time Johnny had been in and out of safe houses, with barely a spare minute to check in with you. If he was being honest, he was terrified.
He couldnât shake the feeling that when he got back to the compound, you wouldnât be there. Youâd be long gone, and when he went to your place, the things heâd left (so sneakily) would be in a box waiting on the doorstep.
He was so sure of this, that he wanted to go by your place first, but his bone-weary brothers were barely sitting upright on their bikes. Battered and bruised to hell, he couldnât ask them to indulge his paranoia. The table didnât like to be too far from each other until they were fully assured they were whole back home.
He was the last to walk through the door, to the shock of his brothers, but he didnât want to tell them he was probably about to scream his throat raw when he saw you werenât there.Â
He clenched and unclenched his aching fists in anxiety. âJust look around the room you daft fucker!â He mentally scolded himself.
He didnât get a chance to. You barreled into him, arms locking around his neck. He stumbled back, weariness and shock combining to make his footing unstable, but his back hit the solid metal door behind him.
âI was so fucking worried.â You whispered into his neck, and he felt his neck dampen with what he presumed were tears.
âI was tooâŚâ he admitted, finding it in him to grip you to his person with a desperate strength.
Relief flooded his body when you started pressing kisses all over his face, and all he could do was stand there. Receiving your love.
âOh!â You tried to pull away, but he wouldnât let you. âJohnny put me down, the girls told me about how tired you guys are when something like this happens. You should be resting.â
âIâll get to that bonnie, just keep kissing me like that.â He whispered, hands slipping into the back pocket of your jeans to keep you close.
You took over as soon as you got him back to his dorm room. You helped him undress, made sure he didnât collapse in the shower, and even straightened his precious Mohawk while he struggled to pull on the sweats youâd grabbed him. All the while, awkward apologies from him. From you, excited recollections of all the things youâd learned from the strong women around you over the week.
Johnny supposed he had them to thank. In the back of his mind heâd been wondering what flipped the switch, and gifted him the kind of welcome home he used to envy the taken members of the club for getting. You were the best girlfriend he ever had, but an old lady was something else, yet here you were, excelling at that too.
And later, in his room after the hot shower, he collapsed face first on the bed. It took one, deep inhale of the fresh linen to know someone had done laundry. He exhaled with a hum, openly appreciating the clean scent.
âYeah, you can thank me later.â You laughed, entering the room from his bathroom.
Johnny heard the sound of a lid pop, but was too far gone to look back and see what it was. Then you straddled his back, your soft hands kneading out a weekâs worth of tension, self-inflicted and otherwise. He groaned, feeling the soothing lotion follow your hands over the peaks and valleys of his muscular frame.
âAddinâ this to my tab then?â He slurred, half in the dream realm, half with the love of his life.
âYep, but I know youâre good for it.â You leaned down, nipping his ear, and making him mewl in frustration as he hardened against the mattress, knowing thereâd be nothing he could do about it at the moment.
He used the last of what he had to flip you over, mentally cataloging the adorable squeak you let out. Cupping your cheeks, he shared a soft look with you for just a moment, before he sealed his lips over yours. All he could do was hope you could feel everything he wanted to say behind the movement of his lips.
Judging by your soft sighs, he guessed you could.
He pulled away, settling half on you, half off. âIâm settlinâ my debts soon as Iâm up hen. Bet on it.â
He makes Ghost promise to take care of you if something ever happens to him.Â
âJohnny, shut fuck up,â Ghost glared at him, faint facial scars following his frown. âYouâll outlive us all.â
Johnny stared at him from across the meeting table, more serious than a personification of the sun had any right to be. They were the only two in the briefing room, for some reason the place felt sacred enough to Soap for such a request.
ââm serious VP, thatâs ma heart, I love her.â His accent thickened with emotion, and he sipped his bar as if to wash it back.Â
His fingers flexed around the sweating glass. ââm gonna marry her.â
âLads and I knew that the first time you talked about her.â
Soap smiled at that, but his expression quickly returned to its serious state. âSweet girl and me have been talkinâ about kids, preferably after.â
A fond quiet bloomed between them at that admission. The two of you had told no one else, and Johnny felt guilty violating your pillow talk confessionals, but he hoped it would get Ghost to agree.
âWant that more than anythinâ VP, but I canât pull the trigger until I know theyâll be looked after.â
âThe club-â
âNot just the club!â He ran a hand through his mohawk in frustration.Â
Why couldnât the stubborn fucking giant just agree?
âI know the club will look after them in general. I know I can trust our table, hope I can trust the other charters.â He sighed, refocusing. âYouâre my best friend Simon. I just have to know my girl, and my bairn, would always have you at their back. If I died.â
âWouldnât happen. Iâd lay my life down so you could make it back-â
Johnny shook his head, choosing not to repeat himself. Instead, he gave his friend a pleading look.
He could see a storm of thoughts and emotions competing for dominance in his friendâs mind. His expression didnât change much, but it was in his eyes if you knew him.
He saw why Simon was resisting, he didnât feel worthy of being looked to in that way.
Finally, Ghost responded after grinding his cigarette out in the dish on the table. âPromise the same fâme then. Iâve fucked her life up enough, shouldnât still be doinâ it when Iâm gone.âÂ
âOn my honor.â Soap didnât even have to think, it was an instinct.
âThen tell your missus youâre ready. Iâll cover my end.â
âââ
Price:
Head honcho. Chief. The Boss. Captain of the ship. Itâs all the same no matter who calls him what, President Price is in charge.
He founded the club after leaving his original due to lack of loyalty, and thoughtless endeavors. He works overtime to make sure his club doesnât fall in the same way. His code of ethics may not make a lick of sense to anyone outside of the outlaw life, but theyâve garnered the respect and admiration of some of the toughest men around the globe.
Theyâd follow him through hell because they know heâd be the first one in.
When theyâre on a run, selling guns or attending a meeting in neutral territory, Johnâs mind is all business until business is done. Then itâs all you. He loves hearing his guys talk about how theyâre going to spend their new check, or swapping stories about their old ladies. Sometimes, he even joins in.
But what he really wants to do is celebrate with you. Most times youâre already up at the compound. Seeing to the legitimate businesses, taking care of the girls, helping the memberâs families, etc.
He respects what you do, what youâre capable of, beyond borders. However, he canât help but be jealous. You always come to him first, tight hug and a long soft kiss, but then youâre quickly looking over his guys. The men revel in it, almost becoming kittens under your motherly ministrations. Especially Soap and Gaz, who youâre in the same age group as, but you scold all the same.
When the last man has been sent on his way, heâs dragging you away to the little bedroom off his office. He knows you find it amusing, to see his selfishness win out over any tiredness heâs feeling.
Before the door can even close, heâs pulling you close and kissing you his favorite way. A kiss he didnât know he was capable of until you became his wife. Anytime he was gone too long, you did something that knocked him off his feet, or your affection wasnât directed solely at him, he kissed you that way.
He cradled your head, holding you steady when he pressed his lips to yours. He left no room for there to be room between the two of you. Rough thumbs slid under your chin, tilting your head up slightly before he slid his tongue between your lips. He knew he had to release you soon, let you remember how to breathe, but it was hard to fight the hunger.
âNothing flatters me like my big biker husband being unable to share me for two seconds.â you teased, but your teasing came out in short puffs, as your lungs werenât cooperating with you at the moment.
He could feel you swaying, going dizzy, and he brushed his beard over your ear to make you squirm before he said. âJump love.â
You did, feeling his heavy hands grasp your thighs seconds later. He slid your legs over his hips, encouraging you to lock down around his waist.
âIâm just making sure you take care of whatâs yours.â he thrust upward, hardness touching. âI promised it to you that first time.â
He laid you across the bed, staring down at you with a darkened smirk. âTake some responsibility for the state of your possessions.â
Heâs the head of an organization that now exists in several countries. All that responsibility is tiring, even for a man so skilled at navigating it, and thereâs been many a day when all he can do is lay his head down for the pain of the headaches.
You canât count how many times youâve come up to the club when he didnât come home, only to find him furiously puffing a cigar and downing shots to dull the pain.Â
The guys had families to feed, there were good men behind bars for them that needed to be taken care of, he had tables back home that needed guidance, there were property expenses, legal retainer fees, and more. Much more.
That meant more risky non-legit work, which meant stretching the legitimate business to cover what that brought in. He had to know when it was time to expand, when it was time to halt, and when it was time to move to something else.
But heâs just a man, one man, and youâre there to remind him of that.Â
âJohn?â You had been expecting to find him in his office, but the moment you stepped into the club house, you saw him at the bar.
He wasnât alone.Â
Phillip Graves, president of the Shadows MC finished off his drink and clapped John on the back.Â
âWeâll talk again.â He nodded his head towards you with a wink and a smile. âMaâam.â
Your narrowed eyes followed him out of the door, remaining there until his motorcycleâs engine was a distant roar. At that point, you turned back to your husband.
He was gripping his forehead, lit cigar balanced on the heavy crystal ashtray next to him. The last remnants of whisky mingled with the melting ice in his glass, which he threw back before attempting a fake smile.
âHello darling, you just close up shop?â
âYeah, and I got home to find my husband wasnât there. What the fuck John? You said you were going to work on this.âÂ
You tossed your purse on the counter. âAnd Graves?! I canât even-â
â(Y/N), donât start.â He pinched the bridge of his nose. âI do not have that in me right now.â
Sighing, you placed one hand on his back, using the other to put out his cigar. He protested with a disapproving grunt, but was too tired to do more than that. Your face softened at that realization.
He pushed back from the bar a little, allowing you to slide onto his lap, legs splitting over his thighs. âIâm just worried. You can lead a table, you can lead the whole organization, but you canât carry the whole thing on your back.â
You cupped his head like he often did to yours, and massaged the base of his skull. His eyes slid shut, body going lax, and he practically purred.
Leaning down, you scattered gentle kisses on his face, careful to leave no spot untouched, before going in for a whiskery kiss. It was here John took over, thanking you for the attention.
âYou know that itâs not you I donât trust right?â you asked between kisses. âItâs him.â
âI know, and you know I value your judgment.â He got underneath your shirt, hands rubbing your sides slowly.Â
There was a moment of domestic peace and quiet. You massaging his temple, and he massaging your sides. Though you trusted the capable man going soft under your hands, you hoped he wouldnât regret whatever Graves was bringing to your door.
John doesnât come to your shop often, but itâs not because he doesnât support your career. Itâs because he canât watch you work for very long without wanting you biblically on every surface.
You love his open attraction to you, so itâs not exactly the easiest thing to ignore. No matter how much you try to stay focused on the job, the man is the love of your life, and he looks handcrafted by god.
Hunched over a clientâs thigh, your brows were drawn in concentration on the elaborate Victorian cameo piece.
Out of the corner of your eye, you could see John lounging in the plush desk chair heâd dragged over. A good distance to respect your client, but close enough, he could keep eyes on his favorite person.
Your client was amused, laughing through a wince, she nodded in Johnâs direction. âYouâve got a not-so-secret admirer.â
âIâve been caught lovely, what to do now?â
âIgnore you.â You quipped before glancing up at your client. âHeâs my husband.â
âOh,â she hummed. âThat explains the heart eyes.â
At that, you did have to look up, instantly wishing you hadnât. It was a visual trap.Â
John, sitting there like the king he was, manspreading with no shame. Black beanie, tight jeans, dark sweater with his royal kutte draped over the sweater, and leather boots. You told him more than once he could model, to which he feigned offense.Â
âFocus on your work.â John admonished, but the smirk he said it though was pure sin.
Your eyes had strayed below the belt, and John was fully aware of this. Reveling in it really.
âDonât you have a bike to fix? A prospect to bottle feed?â
âNope,â his arms crossed behind his head, an action you saw out of the corner of your eye. âI belong to my missus this evening.â
Your client cooed, undoubtedly enjoying the banter between you and John. You did too, too much, and his bit about belonging to you made you have to pause and readjust yourself.
âEvery evening really.â
âThatâs nice John.â You hissed, lifting the gun from her skin to wave him off.
Your client laughed, trying hard to hold herself steady for you.
âDonât encourage him.â you turned yourself at an angle slightly, trying and failing to ignore him.Â
âWell, itâs really far more than just evenings isnât i-â
You lifted your foot from the pedal, and placed the tattoo gun on the tray next to you.Â
âKitchen, now.â You gave your client a sheepish smile. âWe were due for a break anyway hun. Can I get you anything?â
She was visibly entertained by you and John, after all, the two of you had become a legendary couple in these parts for a reason.
âIâm good, take your time.â
John winked at your client, strolling behind you into the back. You waited until he was in the kitchenette before sliding the door closed.
âYouâre such an ass.â But your hands were already under his sweater, running up and down his chest.
You appreciated that he took up so much space in the little room, forcing the two of you together. You could blame the roomâs dimensions for being all over him, and not your unwavering attraction to the man.
âI havenât seen you in 15 hours, yes, I counted. Iâm always counting when it comes to you. You canât ask me to behave.âÂ
Large hands slid into your hair, fingers interlocking to cradle your head. He didnât even have to pull you in to kiss you, and he grinned, clearly also appreciating the size of the space.
âYou think sheâs a big enough fan to give us thirty?â
You actually have three rings. Your engagement ring, your wedding ring, and one of Johnâs rings that he gave you the first night you fucked.
In the quiet of the briefing room, somewhere you were surprised to be, you sat on his lap. The two of you soaked up the afterglow, the party raging outside fading to a dull noise outside of your own world. Coming down from your high, you let out a soft noise of surprise when John gripped your hair to kiss you with one hand. The other hand grasped your own, the one that had come to rest on his chest when youâd ridden him into his throne.
He slid the silver, braided band onto your ring finger, promising. âThe first to comeâ
He loves to get in the ring and show off for you. Sometimes, thereâs a loud mouth from a visiting club, or another table visiting, and John takes them to the ring they have in the back of the clubâs compound.Â
Usually, itâs Konigâs or Simonâs domain, but itâs not because John doesnât love dishing it out as much as them. That becomes apparent when he delivers careful, strategically brutal, blows to his opponent. Enough to win, and then a few more to humble.
You had long ago stopped lying to yourself about how much it turned you on. So when John emerged from the ring, panting, abs catching the compoundâs lights on a sheen of sweat, you always dragged him off. Under the guise of cleaning him up of course ;).
Johnâs breeding kink goes wild when he sees you with a baby, or any kid really. Heâs been around the club life long enough to see many couples welcome kids. One of the first outings the two of you made as an official thing was to the hospital to see the birth of a memberâs baby.
His old lady bonded with you, and you were quickly given child holding privileges. It came so naturally to you, and John felt what he figured the two of you would get to eventually quickly build itself a home in his chest. New Kink unlocked: breed you on any surface he could find.
He couldnât tear his eyes away, it was hypnotizing. His family around him saw it for what it was. Their president had this future scene, starring you and him, written all over him.
He thought the intensity of it was something he had to keep under wraps until he noticed you had the same feelings.Â
Baby showers, shopping for 141 babies, school drives and charities the club did for the local youth, seeing cute kids on social media. It didnât matter, John caught on to the fact that you fucked him like a feral rabbit whenever you got that maternal glint in your eye. He didnât call you on it until after you were married. The day when your shop receptionist went on maternity leave.Â
Youâd been going on all through dinner, and then while doing the dishes, about how cute the kid would be, and you loved helping her with her nursery, and how she was already glowing. The more you ranted, the harder he got, until finally, he trapped you against the counter.
âI reckon itâd be easier to just say you want to be a mum.â he lifted one leg to his waist, and bucked against your clothed heat. âSay it.â
You stammered, eyes wide, pupils blown. âJ-John..â
âSay it.â his voice somehow found a lower octave to sink to, choked with desire.
âWhat are you talking about?â you whined, embarrassed at being found out.
âDonât be embarrassed. Iâm hard as steel love, you feel that?â he grabbed your wrist, kissing the knuckles before quickly brushing them over his length.Â
âThatâs how bad I want to make you a mum, canât you just admit it too?â
Tilting your chin up, he placed tiny kisses under your chin, purposely dragging his beard across the soft skin after each kiss.Â
âCâmon then, tell your husband the truth so I can give us what we both wantâ
You whimpered, clutching the fabric of his t-shirt. âJohn..â
âGo on, invite me in.â he slipped his index finger in the top of your panties just enough to play with the elastic. Stretching it until it threatened to fly back against your skin before he eased it back in place.
You moved forward in an attempt to make his finger slip lower, and he laughed darkly, holding you in place. Shaking his head, he repeated his precious statement.
âGive me a baby John.â you huffed, frustration rising until all that you could do was spill the truth.Â
Gasping, you felt the cold tile of the counter beneath your thighs. You tried to process how heâd gotten you up there so fast, but your mind didnât want to focus on anything other than your husband kneeling before you with the most determined look youâd ever seen.
As he slipped your panties and pajama shorts down your legs, he whispered how itâd be best if you prepared an excuse for work while you could still think straight.
Still a wip, though atp, it's mostly cleaning things up. It's over 6,000 words long (đ) so...debating whether to break them up into separate character posts or not.
I got carried away again. I just love big criminal found family bikers for Reader. She deserves it đĽş.
The guys are doing a little of what we like to call Dirty Mackin, and yes, I think this is something theyâd all do in their own way.
Still working on getting those accents to come through, while not stepping into cringe/wrong territory.Â
I apologize, this is a very messy format (borderline stream of consciousness), and Iâm trying to figure out a cleaner way to do this. I hope it doesnât hurt the reading experience.
And I am the only one who kinda wants to see the reverse scenario, where Reader tries to get the guys away from their trash gfs? đThanks to @bunnyreaper for the idea, it wrote itself as I read that.
Simon:
Annoying. That was the first thing Simon thought of you. So of course you had to work at the only cafe near his flat that made tea the way he liked.
You were always on your phone, arguing with someone (he guessed a boyfriend), and he hated getting stuck at your register. The calls clearly distressed you, and he didnât know why you kept taking them. Especially on the job.
Youâd gotten his order wrong more times than he could count, and you were always having to turn around and ask him to repeat the things he wanted. It got to the point where he waited until the other baristaâs line was open.
Unfortunately, other customers had done the same, and it was causing a backup.
Then there was the day. His day started as it always did on his off time. The three Sâs, and then he was at the gym to get his time in when he knew it was mostly empty. Then finally, his black tea.
He sighed, mentally preparing himself for the wait before he entered. As expected, there was a line.
You were there, and you appeared to be deeply engaged in conversation with the only person at your counter.
He was surprised to see you had a customer. âMust not be a regular.â
As he got closer to the counter, he could overhear the whispered argument. The man wasnât a customer at all, he presumed he was the boyfriend from the phone calls. Based on the things the two of you were saying, that made the most sense.
âGreat. Getting the live version today.â Simon had to wonder how you kept this job. Were you the boss's daughter? Did you own a share? Could he steal enough of the signature black tea blend and go into hiding until he had to ship out again?
You looked exasperated, and your co-worker stepped over to your side, coming to your aid.
âOh for fuckâs sake.â Simon groaned, realizing the wait would be longer.Â
He stepped outside for a cigarette, making the mental decision that if by the time he was done with it there was still a line, he would forgo his drink that day.
He chose the alley on the side of the shop, not liking the openness of the sidewalk, and staked out against the opposite buildingâs wall.
He was halfway past the tip of his cigarette when the side door heâd been eyeing warily opened, and out came you.
You looked frustrated, anxious, and maybe a little embarrassed. He didnât think you noticed him, instead, walking over to the dumpster and kicking it, hard. It sent a loud, tinny groan echoing through the alley. He narrowed his eyes, feeling that itch of frustration under his skin.
You noticed him finally, and stopped angrily muttering to yourself. Instead, you started talking to him. It was mostly an uninterrupted stream of dialogue for two minutes straight (he timed it), before he could finally understand you.
âMandatory break! Thatâs the second one this week, can you believe that?â
He started to say yes, and that he hoped the third one won you a prize: getting fired. He kept his mouth shut though.
âItâs not even me, itâs my boyfriend. He means well, but he justâŚI donât know. I donât know anymore.â You were searching for something in your apron, but he couldnât tell what, out of the corner of his eye.
Simon flexed his fingers, eyes narrowing until the shopâs logo mural was a blur. You found it, and walked closer to him until he turned both eyes to you.
âCan I get a light?â You gestured with the unlit cigarette between your fingers to the one burning between his lips.
âBloody. Fuckinâ. Hell, Bird! Sânot enough you keep half the fuckinâ place backed up on a good day, but then you prance your arse out here to annoy me some fuckinâ more? Fuck off.â He jabbed his pointer finger at the door youâd come out of.
The alley echoed his baritone, and somehow made his outburst sharper.
You stared at him like heâd taken his head off, instead of having bitten off yours. Eyes wide, bottom lip trembling, he thought you might cry, and he began to feel guilt grow in the pit of his stomach. Heâd forgotten, in the midst of you stirring up similar agitation, that he wasnât on base talking to some recruit dumped on him.Â
You did cry, but once you started talking, he suspected it was more due to anger. âFuck you! You fuck off, I work here!â
He ignored the small voice telling him âstopâ, and fired back. âWork?â He snorted. âReal fuckinâ rich that is. Donât confuse work with your million mandatory breaks.â
You clenched your fists, eyes wild with adrenaline and voice shrill with anger. âGo to hell. Youâre just some freak in an alley who canât remember when Halloween is. You donât know me.â
You angrily wiped at your tears to no avail, as more quickly took their place, and then you started sobbing.Â
Simon sighed, feeling like shit and wishing heâd held it together just a little more. âAlright. Alright. âNuff of that now.â
âIâm not crying *hic* because of youâŚâ you huffed, trying to get your voice under control. âJust go back to your cigarette. I hope you suck it up and *hic* choke!â
He chuckled, you were the first person in a while whoâd lashed back out at his harsh disposition. At least to his face. âWas uglier than I shouldâve been, but wonât pretend there wasnât some truth to it.â
âYouâre an asshole.â
âYouâre a shit barista, wanna form a band?â His lips quirked into a smirk around his near-stub cigarette.
For a beat there was silence, until the two of you burst into laughter. Yours a raucous peal of giggles, and his, raspy chuckles.
âWell, you earned that light. Got more balls then a lot of soldiers I know.â
The two of you stayed in that alley for thirty minutes just riffing off different topics. It ended with Simon giving you the friendly (read: rough) advice to not let your boyfriend cost you your job.
Thatâs not how he saw his day going. Having the most interesting conversation heâd had in a while with the woman who annoyed the piss out of him for the better part of his leave.
You were no longer annoying, youâd been upgraded to interesting, and that was the second thing Simon thought about you.
After your talk in the alley, Simon was pleasantly surprised to find that youâd taken his advice and stepped your skills up. It turned out, you were distracted by your boyfriend, but Simon had come to see why. He was obsessed with knowing where you were, and if you were thinking of him, and wondering if he should drop by.Â
Simon felt more guilt for being so impatient, and he decided no matter what, he would pick your line. That was the only reason too. It certainly wasnât because he couldnât stop thinking about you after your last conversation.Â
Sometimes you would take your breaks with him now, exhibiting that same forward nature from the alley, but it no longer annoyed him. Heâd tease you about whether or not that break was mandatory, but he looked forward to it all the same.
You talked about anything and everything, from where you were from, to Simon having to explain the delicate ins and outs of football to you. (He was pretty sure you were pushing him to have a heart attack by pretending you forgot a different detail every time you talked).
It was an unstated, but mutually understood, thing that your time together fulfilled something missing for both of you. For him it was cutting into his habit of cutting off socialization until he was back on base or a mission, and for you, it was a break from your relationship.
He liked to think that you looked forward to your talks as much as he did, if your expression every time you saw him was an indicator.Â
Unlike him, you were an open book, so you did most of the talking. Simon soaked up everything you told him, filing it away. You were funny, and fascinating.
On his end, he was careful about some of what he shared, and nervous about other things. He had more dark or restricted anecdotes than humourous or endearing ones, and he didnât want to bring you down. After all, you had more than enough of that to deal with.
The boyfriend. He was a nightmare of obsession and insecurity. It was perhaps your fourth break-hangout that Simon saw it completely for himself. Heâd all but dragged you out of your seat, which made Simon rise from his so quickly, it almost toppled over behind him. He wasnât unaware of his size, nor was he afraid to use it on the shorter man, but you assured him it was fine until he sat down.
Your boyfriend was panicking, wondering why you were keeping someone like him company. He wanted to know what it meant for the two of you, and Simon hated seeing you in an endless loop of begging the pathetic prick to believe you loved him. All of your humor and your cute little habits disappeared as he forced you to become a helicopter girlfriend, concerned only with his fears.
Simon decided then he would sway you away from him. He didnât deserve you, and Simon may not have known you long, but he couldnât stand to see you withering under him and his emotional blackmail. No one ever accused Simon of being sane.
You would be his, and that was the third thing Simon thought about you.
If he said so himself, he was slick about it. Heâd forgotten about the amount of energy it took to pursue a relationship with someone, and why he limited his romantic interactions to hookups with women he found interesting.
You werenât just interesting, he was fully infatuated with you by the time he started to actively move towards getting you away from that neurotic dumpster. You were worth the effort.
It started with seeing you outside of the cafe in a way that seemed natural. He thought about it for a while, before he settled on inviting you to a football game. He couldnât believe heâd worried that youâd say no, your âyesâ came out before he was even done asking.
You were impressed with his timing, confessing that the night before, your boyfriend had thoroughly embarrassed you at a party, and you needed a fun day.
Simon had smiled tightly all through your hurried explanation that everything was fine, and that he had apologized once you got home with him.
The day of the game, you were absolutely adorable when he picked you up. Giddily introducing him to your roommate. She eyed him with approval, and even congratulated you for trading up.
Before you could correct her, he slipped in his answer. âThat remains to be seen. Depends on if she embarrasses me at the game.â
You snorted, launching into that now familiar peal of giggles. âI promise I wonât. Now, which of these soccer teams is yours again? The Manfordshire Mermaids?â
âYou wanna ride there on the roof?â
The trip was a better investment than he thought. You were enthralled with what was going on, the hype of the crowd, the skill of the players, and just being there in person. However, you had to rely on him to translate this new world to you, and that left you literally clinging to him in interest. Simon was your whole world in that stadium, and he locked that feeling down tightly for motivation.
Step one had gone off without a hitch, and now it was on to step two.Â
Outings with you became a series. Simon encouraged as many as possible in order to trigger the response he wanted.
He knew it wouldnât be long until your boyfriend started getting antsy, and insecure again. You were going out twice as much as you had before you started hanging out with Simon outside of the cafe.
To push the matter, Simon told you his work schedule was getting hectic. It was a half truth, the training period before the announcement of a deployment had commenced, and Simon planned on having a girlfriend to come home to this time. Namely you.
He used the excuse to create later meetups. Dinners, movies, wandering the street and stumbling into things to do. All the while getting you hooked on his touch. Simon wasnât a touchy-feely person by nature, and this was something everyone who knew him picked up on quickly. You picked up on it too, but he wanted to touch you. He didnât though, at least not often.Â
Starting off with little touches that could be confused as an accident, he increased the pressure but kept the frequency low so you became addicted to his rare touches. He wanted you to feel special that someone like him indulged you in that way, so that youâd seek out more, even though HE was the one who felt blessed every time he felt your skin on his.
When you were together, he made sure things were about you. He didnât imagine your boyfriend left much room for that with his paranoia, but he wanted to show you what you were in for once you were together.Â
One night, Simon kept you out later than usual. Heâd stayed away from you for two weeks, which wasnât hard, work was starting to pick up. He couldâve carved out a day or two though, but he wanted to make you crave his time like he did yours.Â
It worked. He scheduled a late dinner at an upscale restaurant, letting you fill him in on all that he missed. Namely, you missed being with him. You werenât the type to keep your feelings to yourself, and youâd inevitably vented to your boyfriend about missing your friend. He didnât like that label at all, but he liked what would come from your actions.
Periodically throughout the dinner, your phone rang, increasing in frequency as the night wore on.Â
You had to excuse yourself multiple times, and Simon pretended to be annoyed. In reality, he anticipated that. Each time the phone rang, you cringed and looked at him apologetically.Â
On what had to be the tenth time, Simon said. âGo on then, run off to pamper the pathetic bastard. Powder his arse too this time.â
Your face screwed up in objection to his barbed words. âHeâs just worriedâŚâ
He shrugged. âDonât owe me an explanation lovie. Sâjust a mystery why youâre in such a rush to be a nursemaid.â
Rolling your eyes, you stood up from the table. âIâm in a rush to be a good girlfriend thank you. Stop being an ass, Iâll be back in a minute.â
âSâgo,â he downed the last of his bourbon before he pulled his wallet from his pocket. âIâll pay the tab and take you home.â
âWhat? Weâre supposed to have dessert, and then maybe a movie.âÂ
Simon watched your distressed body language and expression with mild amusement, and he was proud of being able to hide it, even though heâd forgone his mask that night. âYouâve gotta tuck in your kid. Sânot on me you wonât date a man.â
You pouted and sat back down. âIf I put my phone away, you put your wallet away. You promised me dessert.â
He smirked, refusing to hide it now. This was the first time, since heâd met you, that youâd ignored your boyfriend, and it said a lot.
You did it once, so Simon was able to turn it into a habit. Your boyfriend looked increasingly unhinged as Simon made sure you starved him of your attention.
The ugly voicemails and text messages began soon after. He didnât like that at all, and he had to remind himself the time to deal with your boyfriend would come, but he did appreciate that you were becoming less tolerant of him.Â
Every time you returned to Simon after having to soothe your boyfriendâs ego, and stop his tantrums, Simon made your life easier. He worshiped you in subtle ways, reminding you of what a man was, compared to a child.
There was guilt on your part, but it felt so good to be taken care of for once. To not have to worry about Simon bursting into a fit of insecurity that made you completely responsible for his feelings, and left little to no room for anything else.Â
When he touched you, it lit your nerve endings on fire. You knew that the touches were bordering on inappropriate, since you were still taken, but you also knew that your brain went numb with good vibrations with even just a brush of his fingertips.
Simon still kept it light, almost questionable as to whether it even happened, and you finally began to seek it out. Wearing backless tops so that his fingertips would brush your bare skin, sitting next to him in diner booths so a thick thigh was always brushing your own, going for things in high places so heâd steady you by your waist.
He never seemed to miss a beat on when and where to touch you, but it wasnât enough.
The breaking point came when he invited you to a dinner Price was holding as a goodbye to civilian life until next leave. The verbal invitation was the most valuable thing to you in a while. Not only because you were increasingly becoming addicted to him, but because for someone like Simon to invite you into that part of his life, it meant that he was in deep with you too.
All of Simonâs friends were funny, inviting, and very taken by you. They were so polite to you, complimenting you, and telling you as much as they could about their work, trying to impress you.
You were having fun trying to keep up, but you got the impression that Simon inviting a woman he was seeing to meet them was a new thing, and they didnât know the protocol.
You were surprised to find he went by Ghost in his field, and they were unused to hearing Simon. You shared how the two of you met, and how polite he wasnât in your first conversation, and they werenât surprised.
You were enjoying your time with them, the conversation never stopped, and you would venture to say Simon looked fond at times. Though, as each man became more flirtatious, his expression would change. It became an unspoken game between you and his team to try and make him speak up about it. He didnât take the bait.
Then came the topic of your boyfriend.
âCome now love, youâre a smart girl. Why do you wanna waste your time with that bellend?â - Price
âI donât ken what the situation here is, but if Ghost and the other one donât appreciate you, I promise I will.â Soap
âI had a girl once, who used to follow me in her friendâs car, sit outside my apartment, and call me from different phones to test me. Youâre fit as hell love, dump him.â - Gaz
It was a little embarrassing, and you were slightly annoyed that Simon had told them, but your mind kept shortening it to âhe talked about me to his team.âÂ
During dinner, you excused yourself to the bathroom. While you were washing your hands, Simon slipped into the room, making you jump.
Your eyes met in the mirror, where Simon just glared.
âHave fun with the boys, bird?â
âHave fun broadcasting my business?â You raised an eyebrow, but your tone held no anger to it.
Simon chuckled, locking the door. âSânot my business is it?â
You swallowed hard, shaking your head slowly.
He trapped you between the sink and himself, hands locking onto the counter on either side of you.Â
âLetâs fix that.â His lips pressed to the pulse point on the side of your neck, speaking his command against it. âGet rid of him lovie, and come home where you belong.â
You tried to do just that, but for the first time that you could recall, your boyfriend wasnât taking your calls.
Simon watched you while he packed, tucked beneath his sheets where you belonged, bare. Itâd been a week since you took that next step in his captainâs guest bathroom, and youâd been trying to inform your ex he was now in fact, your ex.
You gingerly rolled over to face him, mindful of all the reminders that he loved you he left your body. âSi, heâs still not picking up. I donât want to do it over the phone, butâŚâ
âDonât get worked up. Maybe he got the message already...â
Kyle:
Heâd re-visited Chicago on his downtime, and met you in a club. Unknown to him at the time, your boyfriend had stood you up for the third time that month, and you decided not to waste the night. Itâd made you so free and enthralling to watch, he couldnât look away.
Gaz spent the entire night with you, glad heâd ignored the jet lag, even when you took him to all the best after-hours spots.
The only problem was your boyfriend, Keith, who Gaz personally believed formed in the bottom of a toilet, and sought life elsewhere. His team thought he was delusional, and/or giving you too much thought.
âYou hitting the States again then? Donât get in the kind of trouble that you canât get out of because youâre jealous.â - Price
âGarrick! Get your fuckinâ head off your cock, and on the exercise, before I shove my boot down your throat!â - Ghost (after he fumbled a training exercise twice)
Except for Soap, Soap backed his delusions %1,000. âShe let you charge your phone when hers needed it more? Thatâs wedding bells lad, and I wanna be best man.âÂ
Then there was the relentless teasing every time he spent his leave with you, but Gaz didnât care. He couldnât bother being embarrassed when you were waiting for him. Your grin was for him, your excited laughter was for him, and your hug was for him. The one he always held longer than friends do, his heart racing when you relaxed in his hold. Smirking when he felt your nose brush over chest quickly. You were sheepish when he grinned down at you, realizing what you were doing.
Youâd gotten him cologne on his first (date) daytime hangout with you. Youâd been strolling through the mall, Gaz trying to make you forget about the ugly scene heâd walked into between you and your boyfriend when he arrived at your place.
Youâd been so sad, and it didnât suit you at all. He just wanted to take you out of that environment, and let your real-self blossom again.
His hand brushed with yours, pinkies locking and unlocking so he could feel his stomach dip again and again.
He was able to slowly bring you back, into a little world of inside jokes and friendly culture clashes. Gaz fully had you back by the time he stopped in front of an expensive looking fragrance shop and said:
âYou know what? I need a new aftershave, but Iâm clueless about shopping for that stuff.â
âUh, aftershave?â youâd looked puzzled, peering into the store window. âDo they even sell that here?â
He let out a confused laugh, pointing at the bottles on the glass shelf. âWeâre looking at it, so Iâd guess yes.â
âYou mean cologne?â you gave him your first real smile since youâd gotten there, and Gaz forgave yet another correction in favor of it.
âGet in here, and help me find an aftershave.â
He proposed that you guys find the perfect scent for the other and buy it as a gift. The two of you spent the better part of thirty minutes teasing and sniffing each other. Every time Gaz lifted a part of your arm or wrist to his nose, he let his lips brush across your skin accidentally.
âKyyylee..â you whined every time, making him stir in the right places at the wrong time.Â
Eventually you both settled on something for the other, but Kyle slyly placed himself in the position of paying for both. The thought of you paying never having been a real thing in his mind.
âYouâll get it next time, love.â
He treasured that scent, youâd specifically picked it out for him, and heâd savored the look you gave him when youâd finally found it. Now he was in front of you again.
âYeah, itâs the one you bought me. Did me a good turn with that. I get compliments like they get paid to give âem.â
âWhoâs complimenting you?â you asked, your wince revealing itâd probably come out sharper than you meant for it to.
Gaz didnât mind, he liked you as jealous as he was.Â
He chuckled, reaching out to squeeze your hand. âJust..other girls with good taste.â
Your pout and sharp head turn went right on display in the mental gallery he had of you. He couldnât resist teasing you again.
âAre you wearing the one I picked.â he leaned down hovering just over your neck where he knew you could feel the soft puffs of breath on your neck. He heard your breath hitch when he hummed, confirming that you were.
âI am, and donât worry about whoâs complimenting it, since you have sooo many of your own.â
Gaz laughed as you yanked him after you with a huff. If he was delusional, you werenât helping.
This visit was going how he imagined it, and he intended to end it exactly that way too. Finally getting that bastard out of a picture he shouldâve never been a part of.Â
When clubbing, Kyle kept you close. You both loved to dance, and every song that came on seemed out to prove that your bodies were built to fit together like a puzzle.
He took an interest in your life, wanting to see what you got up to when he wasnât there. Youâd resisted, thinking itâd bore him. It did not.
He enjoyed meeting your co-workers, and eating at the cafe you loved a block from your job. You even took him to spend an afternoon with your family. Every time he scored a point with them, you gave him this dreamy expression he was determined to see for the rest of his life.
When he suggested making plans with your friends, so they didnât feel like you were ignoring them while he was there, you were thrilled at how considerate he was, and he got the pleasure of overhearing you hype him up to your friends while you invited them out to do something.
It was you blocking your girlfriends every time one of them tried to push the flirtation with him too far, that let him know it was time.
He decided he would make his move when the two of you were having a movie night at your place. It wasnât ideal, because that piece of shit was lingering around the place. Kyle hated that you lived together, but wouldnât let that interfere. He had work to do.
âKyyyleee.â you giggled, dragging his name out the way he loved when he ran a finger down your cheek to your neck, complimenting your skin.
âJust admiring your skin routine. Youâve gotta share.â
Or, when he shivered, and you instinctively extended your blanket to him. He took it without question, trying not to think about all of the things you could do under a shared blanket. Although, your boyfriend walking in and out of the room, pretending he had things to get out of the kitchen, made the thought more enticing.
Youâd invited him to watch in earnest, and heâd just cut you down in a way that made Kyle quickly remind him he was in your apartment, because heâd lost his job, and had nowhere else to go. That youâd sweetly taken him in, and that he should remember that.
He enjoyed kicking him down while raising you up.
Your boyfriend finally just sat at the kitchen table in the dark, fuming. The living room was visible to him from there, but Kyle was glad to have him as an audience to him reminding you of your worth.
You two exchanged snacks and commentary, easily ignoring the unwanted third party.
âNo offense love, but beer here is straight piss.â
You laughed, stealing one of the cookies left on his plate. âBeer tastes like that in general.â
âHow would you know? Youâve never been anywhere.â your boyfriend snapped at you nastily, from where heâd been glaring at the two of you for an hour. âAnd why don't you go back to jolly old England if you hate it so much?â
Gaz lazily rolled his head in his direction, body language shouting how much he didnât respect him. âMate, youâre being a right prick right now. Itâs not like you bought the beer, or anything else youâve been shoving in that hole.â
Your boyfriend leapt to his feet, fast enough to knock over the chair. âCome over here and repeat that teacup.â
âBlud, thatâs not what you want.â
âKyle donât, heâs just drunk and embarrassed. Ignore him when heâs like this.â you quickly passed a hand over the back of his, but he just gave you a soft smile instead.Â
âThatâs his problem, he embarrassed himself. Why donât you go in the back and find something to do.â He was so effortlessly dismissive, that your boyfriend mistook this for being unprepared to fight.
Kyleâs one rule for his plan was that he wouldnât physically handle your boyfriend unless he got physical with you. Heâd planned to show you how you should be loved, and let a smart girl like you do the rest. That went out the window.
He kept it clean, the other man was stocky, but didnât stand a chance against his training. If you hadnât been there, he mightâve taken it further, grinding his hatred of him into harsher blows. Instead, he gave him quick, almost surgically effective, blows to put him down. He was too intoxicated and unskilled to retaliate.Â
âSee, he just needed a nap.â Gaz tried to lighten the mood.
âIâm so embarrassed,â you whispered. âI donât know why heâs always like this now. He didnât use to be. I just want this to stop.â
Kyle shushed you, crossing the room to pull you into his arms. âYou donât have to be embarrassed. Youâve been dealing with this for too long.â
âIâm so tired.â you admitted, clutching his soft shirt, and inhaling his scent (your scent, that you gave him) that made your eyes roll back in your head. He was so solid, warm, and a darker word popped into your mind, âmine.â
âYouâve been so good to everyone, too good. Let me take care of you.â he whispered, hands roaming from your lower back to cup your ass.
He heard the hybrid of a whimper-moan, and it had him at attention before you were done.
âIâd be just like himâŚâ you trailed off weakly.
âThatâs not possible.â He lowered his lips to yours, giving you the first kiss from him that couldnât possibly be mistaken as platonic. You kissed back without any hesitation, not even willing to pull away when he started to lead you to the back. To your room.
Hate him as he did, Gaz noted somewhere in his mind how dark the scenario was. The location, and situation, in which he was about to fulfill the second-to-last step of his plan was kind of fucked.
He cupped your jaw in both hands,âBabeâŚwe can go back to my room at the hotel.â
He didnât want to. He wanted to erase any trace of him here, starting in your room. He wanted you everywhere he could have you in the apartment, and he wanted him to come to just enough to hear it.
âMakes no sense. Too far. Here.â you murmured, pupils blown wide.Â
Gaz didnât need to be told twice. You were barely able to string a sentence together, and it was top three one of the hottest things heâd ever heard.
âYes ma'am.âÂ
Kyle didnât doubt youâd complete the final step in the morning, and officially dump the forgotten man on the floor.
Johnny:
You and Johnny met through social media. He thought you were gorgeous and, being John âSoapâ MacTavish, couldnât leave your profile without letting you know. Though he threw in some playful critique.
You responded with a thanks, and a challenge for him to do the picture better. It resulted in a months-long photo battle that quickly became a real friendship.
Late phone calls, video calls, and constant strings of texting built a whole world between the two of you.Â
You were the highlight of his day sometimes, especially when heâd been gone awhile. You helped him reconnect with the world after shutting it out to defend it.
The only problem was your boyfriend. Johnny prided himself on being able to get along with all kinds of people. It was just in his nature. Hate was so rarely felt by him, that he always had trouble identifying it when he felt it.Â
He felt hate for your boyfriend, and it didnât take him long to figure that out. He thought he didnât deserve you. He was always talking to you reckless, like he didnât have the most beautiful woman in the world in his life. Johnny wouldnât talk to you like that, he wouldnât have time to even consider it for all the worshiping of you heâd be doing.Â
Heâd cheated, only to make you feel like that was on you, and you took him back.Â
When Johnny heard your pained sobs for the first time, heâd been halfway through texting Simon to ask for help with a dark favor before he was able to talk himself down.
It was then Johnny realized how much youâd come to mean to him, and that only made him hate your boyfriend more.
Your conversations ranged from anything to everything, but they always ended with you venting, and Johnny comforting. He didnât mind it, in fact, most times he initiated it.
He realized, he must mean a good deal to you too, because you got all your comfort from him. Johnnyâs thoughts mattered to you, and you sought his advice all the time. He hated what for, but he loved that you did.
âHe didnât even like the dress Johnny. I told him you thought of it, and he accused me of wanting to wear it for you.â your screen shook violently as you stomped into your bedroom, sending said garment sailing through the air.
âMâsorry to hear that. I meant what I said when you showed it to me in the shop. Any guy that doesnât lose it to you in that dress deserves to be committed.â
You sniffed, choking out a humorless chuckle. âIâm glad you liked it at least.â
âOh, you donât ken how much sweetheart. In fact, put it on for me again.â
Six months into the friendship, he convinced you to come visit him in Scotland. Youâd been having more trouble with your boyfriend than usual, living with him didnât exactly give you a lot of places to take a breather.
Once Johnny confirmed he hadnât hurt you physically, heâd switched to coaxing you into coming to see him for a couple of weeks.
âCâmon bonnie, Iâve been stateside more times than I can count. You havenât been here once.â He watched you do your bedtime routine, as the sun came up in the windows behind him.
He loved how despite being countries away, the moment felt as intimate as if you were with him. In his home, getting ready to come to bed with him. Except if you were, heâd tell you not to bother brushing your hair. Youâd just have to do it again later.
You laughed as you ran a comb through your hair. âItâs not like you came here for me Johnny. We didnât even know each other the last time you were here.â
âSoâŚyouâll return the favor later. Be my pretty tour guide.â
You wound up in Scotland barely a week later. A suitcase full of clothes haphazardly thrown into it.
âI donât even know what I packed, it's a mess!âÂ
Cue Johnny, who canât quit hugging you, and they feel less and less platonic. âDonât worry âbout it bon. Iâll find somewhere for it all to go.â
Somewhere turns out to be designated drawers and shelves, that heâd cleared in advance, for your clothes and bath products. Johnny putting them away himself like the simp for you he is. All the while distracting you from stating how you wouldnât be there long, and you donât need all that space.Â
âWeâll see.â
Johnny had been coaxing less and less innocent behaviors out of you all week, and just worshiping you when he wasnât. You were a worked up hybrid of desperation, and restored self-confidence. It was addictive, and you started to lean into Johnnyâs touches and kisses. You pretended you didnât hear his murmured dirty statements so heâd have to try again and again.
It came to a head when you finally accepted a video call from your pathetic boyfriend.Â
You were in Johnnyâs living room, wearing his favorite football jersey, with him behind you, absolutely refusing to make himself scarce. You didnât want to take the call anyway, but Johnny convinced you itâd be good for closure.
Your boyfriend started going off, yelling about how you didnât respect him or your relationship, and demanding that âyou bring your ass homeâ.
âThe thing of it is lad, thereâs not really anything about this relationship to respect.â Johnny slipped around to your side, tilting your head up to press his lips to yours.Â
You hummed in surprise, but all of his gentle touches and sweet kisses over the week had you pliant. You immediately responded, squeezing his arm when he slipped his tongue into your mouth as a tease.
He pulled away, looking way too smug, and looking all the more impossibly-handsome for it. âSay bye to your ex-boyfriend then bon. The rest of this isnât for him.â
You gurgled something like goodbye as you slammed the lid on your laptop, attention still fully on Johnny.
John Price:
Price thought your fiance should crawl in a fire and stay there. Yeah. He wasnât ashamed.
The man was garbage, and hardly worth you giving him a glance, let alone this much sacrifice. Youâd moved countries for him, happy to make your home with him because of his job. He treated it as though that shouldâve been a given.
Thatâs how Price had gotten to know you. You lived in the apartment across the hall from him, and the first moment you smiled at him, John was a goner.
You introduced yourself with a smile, your pretty little hand extended out towards him. Heâd stood there, wishing he hadnât worn his ratty sweatshirt with his old football team logo in fading letters. You looked gorgeous, hair framing your face, slightly out of breath from lugging in your things.
Heâd stumbled in his mind until he finally remembered proper social protocol. âPriceâŚCaptain John.â He cleared his throat. âCaptain John Price.â
Your mouth formed an âoâ, you were visibly intrigued.âCaptain? Youâre in the military.â
âYes.âÂ
âWellâŚthank you for your service.âÂ
Normally, John didnât react to that line as expected. Heâd heard it enough times to wish he had a pound for every time, but that was about it. He didnât do his job for thanks, and sometimes felt they shouldnât be for him anyways.
Coming from you however, it was different. He had the reaction he knew most people wanted. He knew from the heat in his cheeks and the tips of his ears, they were red.
Your fiancĂŠ, whoâd appeared in the doorway behind you, stole his chance to answer.
âYeah, thanks or whatever. (Y/N), come in here and figure out where you want your hair crap to go. Iâm just going to toss it anywhere in a moment.â
âOh, you couldâve just put it under the sink.âÂ
âYou should be getting ready anyways, we have a dinner engagement.â He adjusted his shirt cuffs, eyeing John like he was picturing ways he could kill him.
John wanted to see him try just one.
âBye John,â you gave a wave, a soft smile on your lips. âIâll see you.â
You disappeared inside, leaving the two men in a stare down. There was a silent conversation at play, what your fiancĂŠ wanted to say was stated without a word. How much John cared about that was conveyed in the same manner.
Your fiancĂŠ broke first, slamming the door behind him.Â
âWeâll see if Iâll stay away.â He muttered, going into his own place.
Over that first month, you two got to know each other well. Your fiance was often at work, and you turned to John with your questions as you tried to settle into your new home. You had no one else there, and even though John had planned to decompress in complete isolation, he couldnât do that to you. Didnât have a part of his being that wanted to.Â
However, as John got to know you, he got to know your fiance too. Enough to know if he was ever going to murder someone outside of work, itâd be him.
It started with small things like what takeout you should go for, or which grocery store did he use? It seemed your fiance was useless.
One day, you needed help putting together your beauty table. Youâd come to John, clearly embarrassed, and something told him youâd debated on asking him for a while. Your fiance refused, because you hadnât paid attention when you were checking out, and didnât select the construction help option.
âYouâve gotta be fuckinâ kidding me love. You mean to tell me that he never made a mistake?â John was already coming out of his apartment, ready to help.
âItâs stupid, but I donât feel like arguing with him over it. Weâre in an ok place right now.â you laughed awkwardly, leading him inside.
âOk probably isnât a place you want to be when youâre headed for the church.â it came out of his mouth before he could think about how it wasnât his place.
He was so used to being blunt, and dealing out cold, hard facts or opinions. It always took him a minute to readjust to what was appropriate, but by then he was back on duty.
You looked stunned, clearly not expecting that from him. Your arms crossed defensively, giving him a side glance while you mulled over responding.Â
He meant what he said, but he never wouldâve delivered it to you that way, or at all, if he had thought two seconds more.
ââM sorry. Itâs really not my place is it?â he gestured to the back of the apartment. âWhere do you need me?â
There were many more opportunities to spend time with you, and with them, opportunities to point out the toxicity he was seeing. It wasnât in Johnâs nature to ignore obvious problems, he got paid to do the opposite. He had to resign himself every time so he didnât upset you.
With every time he gave you directions, or answered a local cultural difference that confused you, you two lingered in each otherâs presence a little longer. He wasnât going to spoil that.Â
Your requests started to leave the territory of furniture building and directions, and started to cross more into trying a new recipe, and how you could do better at fitting into your new home. Your conversations started to get deeper, more information about each other being shared.
There were times where you dropped off food, having made too much, or your fiance didnât want what you cooked. John loved your cooking as it was, he normally lived off whatever he could grab and nuke, but he threw in extra enthusiasm for spite and your pretty smile.Â
Sometimes John found reasons to come over to your place.Â
âShare a cake love? Donât get excited, I picked it up at the shops.â âJust bringing back your bowl.â âI can take a look at that window if maintenance is still laying about.â
And without fail, you made him stay every time. You got lonely, and you still knew very few people in the area outside of him. Your fiance didnât seem to care, he felt heâd set you up with plenty of friends in his circle. John called them posh knobheads, and you couldnât agree more. You had nothing in common with them, and you always wound up back with John to vent.
He found it easier to talk to you than he had anybody else, and from the never ending conversation between you two, he guessed you felt the same. The topic of the nature of your relationship was verboten, but that was fine by him. By that point, he was more interested in making you forget you even had a fiance. He really hadnât even made an effort to do it, it just tilted that way, and he leaned into it.
You werenât exactly stopping his flirtatious comments, in fact, you seemed to light up in ways he hadnât seen until then.
Then came the outings. As your fiance got more negligent, you got bolder. It started with you taking a chance to invite John to a movie when you two bumped into each other in the mailroom. He couldnât remember the last time heâd gone to the cinema, and he couldnât say what was playing if someone held a gun to his head, but âdonât see why notâ fell out of his mouth with no resistance.
Then it was shopping together, or you dragging him to a museum and him bullshitting his art knowledge to make you laugh. He didnât normally spend his time off being this active socially. He decompressed, and prepared for the next assignment. Maybe heâd meet a woman at a pub and bang out some release before getting back into formation.
Heâd wondered if he would regret doing things differently on his next deployment, but that stopped the first time someone mistook the two of you for a couple. That alone wouldâve been enough for him to keep his delusions (that he definitely did not have) going, but it was the fact that you didnât correct them. It happened again, and if he thought he imagined things, he hadnât. You never corrected the person, just gave a coy smile and accepted the compliment.
Well if you didnât, he certainly wasnât going to.
The final time that John could say he only found you attractive, instead of wanting you completely, youâd come to him to ask him if he could drive you to a little farmerâs market outside of the city. Things hadnât been going well with you and your fiance.
You didnât have to tell John, he could attest to that himself. Heâd heard your arguments in his place, and between the noise level, and trying to make sure it didn't go to a place where you werenât safe, he wasnât getting much sleep.
Your plan was to cook your fiance a favorite meal from his childhood, using nothing but farm fresh ingredients. You figured that all you needed to get things on track was a quiet night in, focused on reminding each other why you were engaged. John nearly bit through his tongue to keep himself from bringing up the fact that it seemed the workload on maintaining the relationship fell solely on your shoulders.
Instead, he shoved his bucket hat on his head, and lied about needing to head out that way anyways.
The car ride started out quiet on his part, with you filling in the conversation. Price may have flexed his fingertips in jealousy more times than he could count, but you were so goddamn beautiful when you were excited. It almost hurt to look at you head on, so he gave you side glances to show he was listening.
At the market, your excitement didnât die down. In fact, it turned into infectious playfulness. You two teased each other, engaged in playful scams to get more samples, and dared each other to come up with crazier and crazier stories about yourselves for the owner of each stall you visited.
Price would die twice before he admitted that he imagined you were on a date a couple times during the day. You never brought your fiance up, and he had to remind you to check your grocery list more than once.
It was late afternoon when you returned to the car, laden with goodies and constructing inside jokes. John was enjoying his time with you so much, he almost forgot he had to tell you he was shipping out the following week. He didnât know if youâd care so much as to need an announcement in advance, but he felt he should.
He was worried about you, and he would think of you wherever he was bound to wind up, hoping youâd come to your senses and leave the garbage behind. Of course, heâd miss youâŚand he certainly wasnât under any delusion that when youâd taken out the trash, maybe youâd consider him.
âWhyâre you so quiet?â youâd squeezed his bicep to get his attention, and he instinctively pushed his arm into your hands, encouraging the touch.
It was quiet for a moment, before you slowly uncurled your fingertips, and placed your hands in your lap. His face flooded with embarrassed warmth.Â
Had he gone too far by leaning into the physical?
Price white-knuckle-gripped the steering wheel, swallowing down what he thought was a rejection he had no right to be hurt about, and cleared his throat. âRight. Iâm heading out next week, and it wonât be short. Just thought you should know.â
Whatever reaction he expected from you, it wasnât the one you gave.
âWhat?â You placed a hand on your chest, and then rolled your eyes. âWell thatâs great.â
John gave you a bewildered expression, and it must've shown, because you quickly straightened up and faced forward.Â
âI donât know about great, but it is my job. The one I was quite clear about when we first met.â
âPull over.â you said so quickly, he wasnât even sure youâd heard his response.
âWhat? Why? Are you feeling il-â
âNo..just..please.â you gestured to the side of the road.
He obliged, brows drawn tight and carrying all of his questions. âYour boy is going to be home soon, and we still have a bit of a drive ahead of us. What-â
âI wanted to come here because of you.â you breathed out, still facing forward, your posture almost impossibly rigid.
âMe? Youâre not making much sense (Y/N).âÂ
You huffed, and when you turned to him, your expression took his breath away. In that moment he could read every thought you were thinking, and it wouldâve bowled him over if he wasnât sitting.
He felt electricity beneath his skin, the feeling he got any time he was about to do something drastic and dangerous.
It was the little hidden thing in your eyes that he couldnât place that gave him pause.
âI came here, because I wanted to get away with you for today. I needed to.â you turned your whole body to him. âI donât give a fuck about fresh ingredients for him, he probably wonât eat it anyways.â
You huffed, rolling your eyes. âWe agreed to start over. And Iâm going to try, I really am, butâŚI still canât stop feeling need.â
In the looming silence, all John could do was scratch his beard, and try not to look as stupid as he was sure he did. He knew what you were saying, what you were toeing at, but surely you were just venting. You couldnât-
âSânot right love.â Now it was his turn to look ahead. âNot for him, fuck him. For you. Youâre upset and youâre scared, and you're raw.â
âAnd I need this.â you breathed. âIf youâre trying to protect me, stop. If you donât want me in that way..ok, Iâm a big gi-â
âOooh,â his voice came from deep in his chest, baritone thrumming through the car. âThatâs not it. I promise you, thatâs.not.it.â
Your fingertips gently pulled his face in your direction. âYouâre leaving meâŚand when you get back things are going to have to be different.â
There it was. John swallowed, hard.Â
âIâm being selfish, but..I thought Iâd have a little more time with you before..â Your eyes watered. âItâd be one thing if you really were just my friend, but thatâs not right is it?â
John wiped at your eyes with his thumb before cupping his cheek in his hand. âNo, itâs not.â
âJust one time.â
It was a struggle to say no to you, and that didnât stop now. He pulled your mouth to his, hands gripping your shoulders in a subconscious effort to prove this was happening. You were in front of him, kissing him back as hard as he was kissing you.
He unbuckled you, and pulled you into his lap, sliding the seat back.Â
âIâm gonna miss you.â you were crying now, and neither one of you did anything about the tears.
His hands cupped the back of your head, fingers gently threading through your hair. âOh, sweet girl. Why didnât you meet me sooner?â
What transpired after was the most bittersweet moment he could recall. He had heartbreaks and troubled relationships before, but heâd never had to have a breakup with a woman he wasnât sure heâd been seeing in the first place, but knew that he loved.
He took you twice in his car, before finally, the two of you could no longer ignore the setting sun and had to return home.
John remembered why he preferred to take a girl somewhere quickly, and then spend the rest of his leave in solitude, occasionally seeing a trusted friend. It wasnât as fulfilling as what he had with you, but it didnât hurt this deeply either.
He sat in his apartment for hours after he watched you disappear into your own. He didnât even bother turning on a light when it got too dark, he just sat there, continuing to contemplate how things had gotten to be such a mess. How could he continue to pride himself on being the logical leader he thought he was, when heâd made such a mess of himself so quickly?
How was he supposed to forget you? How was he supposed to forget that he loved you, and that you loved him with another manâs ring on your finger?
The thought of seeing you, carrying your fianceâs child, and looking miserable during what shouldâve been one of the happiest times of your life made Price leap from the couch. That familiar electricity raising every hair on his person to a point.
He didnât know what he was doing, or what he was going to say, but he was moving like heâd planned it for months.
When he stepped into the hall, he paused.
You were sitting on the plush hall couch, eyes puffy, with a death grip on a pyrex dish. Your hair was perfectly styled, and you were wearing a low-cut silken dress that made him want to fall to his knees now that he knew what lay beneath. Your eyes widened at the sight of him, trying to curb your sniffles.
âI was right, he wouldnât eat it. He got mad and left.â
âYou shouldâve made him wear it instead.â Johnâs fist clenched at his side, itching to do what he wanted from the moment he first saw him get short with you.
You shook your head, rising to your feet. âI donât blame him this time. I didnât make it for him, anymore than I shopped for it with him in mind, and I told him so.â
You held up the dish, and John saw it was his favorite. His idea of a perfect Sunday roast in one pot. Your meaning was clear.
âI just kept thinking, it shouldnât be this hard. I mean, it shouldnât be, right?â you stepped forward.
âNo, it shouldnât be.â He also took a step forward.
âItâs not that way with you.â Another step.
âI would hope not.â he also took another step
You stopped when all that separated the two of you was the dish.
âSo this belongs to me then?â he was staring at the dish, but his hands gently grasped your wrists.
You, however, were looking directly at him when you breathed out. âYes.â

I was trying to do some quick scenarios and got caught up. I still have yet to figure out how to get in and get out with my writing.
I had to do some research to see if they had a PX (The Exchange) in the UK, and they do! They even have a Charleyâs.
I need so much more practice until I'm more confident in these characters (and their accents...)đŠ
Simon:
Boston wasnât terrible in Simonâs eyes, but he would still rather be home. He wasnât really on leave, he had business on behalf of the task force with some American contacts. However, it was a lot of downtime and waiting, and it was twisting his head around to be working and resting so frequently together. He liked most things separate, easier that way.
Heâd certainly been in worse places to wait in. Worse safe houses, more unfamiliar environments where his anti-social quirks made trouble, no chance at a decent pub like the one heâd taken to frequenting a few blocks from the safe house.
He was approaching the very same pub at the moment. Mind racing to mentally prepare for his next briefing with Price and Laswell. He didnât have much, the contacts seemed to be dragging their feet, and Simon was in a daily battle not to just go gather the intel himself and be done with it.
He went to pull the door, but through the glass, saw you behind the counter. That was strange, you worked on weekends. He knew, because once he connected his increased heartbeat and uncomfortably hot cheeks to you, he started avoiding the place.Â
It may have been the most authentic pub heâd encountered in America so far, but you were the prettiest woman heâd ever seen, and only one of these things made him sweat like he was back in basic.
He started to back away, but youâd seen him through the age-warped glass and were waving him in.
âYou stupid pint-addict bastard.â he muttered, unnecessarily triple checking to make sure his mask was in place.Â
Heâd honored his promise to Price, and kept to a half mask instead of his usual balaclava. At first he was tense, short when spoken to, and constantly running a hand through his hair to momentarily shield his face. The half mask helped, but not much. It just reminded him he wasnât where he felt he should be. He wasnât the one to play the diplomat
However, on your first meeting, youâd complimented the contrast between his eyelashes and his dark eyes. Between that, and you pouring his Guinness at an angle, the right way, heâd had to clear his throat twice before he felt it was safe to respond. He couldnât remember what he said, his ears had rung like a flashbang went off too close.
It must have been smooth, because you ducked your head and quickly turned so he couldnât see you grin. Too slow, for all the vistas and colorful fabrics heâd seen in his travels, your smile had taken the prize.
âHey! Saved your seat!â you called out over the din, pointing to the rounded corner of the bar where there was only stool and a column to block him from most patrons. âEven though I shouldnât have. Youâve been avoiding me, and donât deny it. My co-workers have no filter.â
He winced, youâd caught him red handed. âNot avoiding you. Just working.â
âAt avoiding me.â you stuck your tongue out at him.
It was surprisingly packed for a weekday, and as he got closer to the bar, he noticed there was some sort of event going on. Drink specials, a pool tournament, and calls to tourists. He cursed, and considered how fast he could down his drink and fake a work call.
âSit.â you pinned him with a look. âI need another sane adult around me, now.â
âSane?â he snorted. âYouâve got the wrong bloke in mind.â
âYeah? You wanna go up against the kid whoâs pledging and has been wearing that chicken suit for two weeks, or the âactressâ who keeps switching characters with every drink?â You raised an eyebrow, pointing out your subjects without a care about looking rude.
âI wanna get on the first thing flying or floating out of here.âÂ
âTake me with you, or Iâll steal your passport.â you slid the Guinness towards him, before leaning on your elbows, and closing some of the distance between you.
Simon had been tortured, beaten, and had given his fair share of the same back. Heâd stared hardened terrorists in the eyes and made them back down every time. It was pretty silly of him, and he certainly felt it, to falter under your gaze, and yet he did.Â
His fingers danced around the bottom of the glass, letting the drink settle, before he lowered his mask and took a big sip. âYou donât have to bribe me love, just say the word and weâre gone.â
He wasnât often embarrassed. Sometimes, Johnny made him cringe, but he was usually too removed from a situation, and the people in it, to allow for such an emotion. Heâd long stopped caring about the looks he, as a masked behemoth, received and whatever thoughts were behind the eyes on him.
Of course, he couldnât do that with you. He didnât want to, but he literally couldnât anyways. So he had to sit there, heat rising to his cheeks, and a mental mantra of âshoot meâ ringing through his head on a loop.
To his barely noticeable relief, your gaze somehow grew warmer, a smile spreading across your pretty face. âIâm holding you to that Si. You donât get to blame the alcohol either, youâve barely touched your drink.â
It was comfortably quiet between the two of you after that. You returned to work as your co-workers got less and less professional. Things got crazier, but it did allow for him to be mostly ignored in his corner, which he was thankful for. He felt for you though.
He had to play bouncer once when a guy got behind the bar, thinking you denied his number because you couldnât hear him.
The look in your eyes as you sought distance made Simon act purely on instinct. His speed, size, and training ended the situation quickly. Youâd given a relieved exhale of air, and ran a hand down his arm before you ran off to respond to a glass crisis. It occurred to him right then how far heâd go for you. As far as he would for his team, whom he considered something around the range of family.
It frightened him that heâd only known you a few weeks, yet your connection had gotten him this far, but there was nowhere to run from the truth internally. If there was, he wasnât sure he even wanted to.
By closing, he was the last customer, and heâd offered to stay while you close up. It wasnât the first time.
âYou better.â you grinned, wiping down the bar.
He started to help you by turning the chairs up on to the tables, and junking miscellaneous trash. He laughed when he heard you shouting about how someone got vomit on the ceiling in the bathroom.
âFuck it lovie, make the layabouts earn their keep tomorrow.â he called out in response.
He was deep in thought about where he was and what he was doing when he turned and saw you standing by him. You got the rare jump on him.
âDonât think Iâm crazy, or do, because maybe I am. I know you were joking earlier, but I really wish you werenât.â you threw the formerly white rag in your hand in the trash, smiling, but your eyes held the same vulnerability he always felt around you.
He blinked owlishly, processing your words before standing up to his full height. âI wasnât joking.â

Kyle:
Youâre a party girl to your core, but you canât help it. You run your own bath products company, and itâs hard work. No one should blame you for playing hard to match.
Gaz certainly didnât blame you, in fact, your vibrant social media is what drew him in. Heâd been constantly checking his phone on base, to the annoyance of his partner-in-crime Soap when their pranks and game time started to lack, because Gaz had to check what your new post alert was about.Â
It took him a minute, but he figured out your page was what Gaz was looking at (and so secretive about). He figured it out when Gaz started watching your live streams, and became so engrossed, Price would have to literally clap him on the back to get him on task.Â
Soap knew he could forget any plans made if you started a live.
Damnit, he wanted to know who was stealing one of his best mates.
Once he saw you in full, and not glancing around Gazâs big head, he got it. You were beautiful, vibrant, obviously in the cityâs in-crowd. You wouldâve fit in perfectly with him and his mates as far as your ability to sniff out a good time went. He couldnât be mad at you anymore, and it wasnât just because he had a minor crush on you himself, he knew his friend was gone, and decided to help him out.
He swiped Gazâs phone and sent him on a wild goose chase so heâd have time to act. Soap put everything he had into that first message, though it wasnât until after he sent it, he realized it was full of Scots lingo, and he cringed trying to clean it up in the following message. He realized heâd made it worse, and the DM thread looked like a tweaker got hold of the phone.
âWhat are you doing?â Gaz sounded both panicked and furious, causing Soap to freeze in real time.
âUh.., I neededâŚto order food?â
âBruv, with my phone?!â
âIâŚalso..wanted to find out where you got..that hat.â
Gaz blinked at him, with an expression that clearly asked if Soapâs last brain cell had finally found a better job.
âYou were there with me, it was at The Exchange. Give me my phone.â
Soap instinctively yanked the phone out of reach. âUh, well..wait.â
Gazâs eyes widened, voice rising. âMate, hand the phone over or-â
The DM message notification rang out loud enough to silence Gaz immediately. His eyes somehow got wider, his lips forming a tight line.
Soapâs eyes mirrored his own, and his fight or flight instinct was triggered. âI swearâŚI did this for ye, not to ye this time. Ye cannae be mad about it.â
A beat passed, and Soap tried to ease the incoming meltdown a little more.
âI may have messed the introduction up a little, but I bet she went for the follow up.â
Gaz said nothing, opting instead to lunge for the device. Soap, confused and thinking Gaz was going to strike him, wasnât fast enough, and though he outmatched Gaz in muscle, said man still took him down.
âWho are you messaging?!â
They rolled, and Soap tried to simultaneously keep Gaz from punching him, while he kept the phone stretched away from them. Another *ding* rang out, and Gaz glanced up to see a notification that contained your user name, and that you had responded. He assumed twice.
He felt his heart drop out of his ass, his eyes locking with Soapâs.
His next punch struck like a snake, fast and quick to Soapâs throat. Said manâs eyes crossed up, and Gaz took the time to try and grab the phone. He was surprised to find Soapâs grip as tight as ever.
âIâll hand it over when ye promise not to blow up!â
âI promise to crack your chest!â
They continued to roll on the floor, Soap getting his second-wind after Gazâs threat. Gaz, driven by what he knew had to be the biggest embarrassment of his life coming his way, and Soap by the need to explain his attempt at a good deed.
Two polished boots came into view and a sharp bark of âKnock it the fuck off!â ended the tussle immediately.Â
Both men sat up, hair and clothing askew, chests heaving with adrenaline.
âWhat the hell is going on here?â John Priceâs infamous gravel inflection hit the both of them, stiffening their spines pole straight.
Nothing came out though. It wasnât exactly a thing you wanted to tell your captain. Both assumed he thought social media was the Yahoo homepage anyways.
He looked between them, neither meeting his gaze. âRight. Hand it over then.â
Gaz choked. On what, he couldnât say, probably his dwindling pride. âJust uhâŚa little sport Captain.â
Soap glanced between them before his blue eyes settled on Price. âYeah. Whatâs it gonna be Cap? Run laps, scrub latrines, weâll take the worst.â
âDonât worry about that, thatâs a given and then some. The phone MacTavish.â
John Price rarely had to demand anything a second time, and neither Soap nor Gaz wanted to be responsible for making him do it a third. Soap gave him an apologetic side glance as he handed over the phone. Gaz cringed, feeling like a kid in class again, getting busted for swapping gross drawings of teachers.
âOne of you, open it.â Price held the phone out between the two of them. Gaz sighed and input the code locking down the device.
Price pulled the phone back, and, much too efficiently for Gazâs taste, began swiping.Â
Priceâs eyes scanned back and forth, and Gaz had to assume he was reading what he still hadnât had a chance to.
After a beat, Price looked up in disbelief. âAll this over a posh little beauty queen? Do you two want the one-four-one to be synonymous with a joke?â
Gaz would serve the mole-people through infinity if it meant theyâd make the ground swallow him up right there. How his day had advanced to this was beyond him.
âCaptain-â
Price turned to him, brows raised. âYou better be glad she likes you and it wasnât a total waste, or Iâd rent you out to the circus like the clowns you two are.â
Gaz stepped back on one foot, his head snapping in disbelief. âWait..she wha-â
âSo it worked then yeah?!â Soap grinned, a breathy laugh supporting his exclamation before quickly straightening up. âI mean, I knew that it would. Thatâs why I did it.â
âIt worked in spite of you spike strip.â Price tossed the phone to Gaz as Soap ran a hand over his treasured mohawk, pouting at the dig. âFor whatever reason, that pretty little thing is interested in him.â
Hearing Price confirm your response was positive didnât make it any easier to believe than the first time he heard it. He had yet to read whatever his dumbass friend sent your way, butâŚyou liked it?
Gaz brought the phone to his face, and started to open the app so he could finally see for himself.
âI donât think so.â Price warned with a sharp shake of his head. âThat goes in your locker, now, and the two of you meet me out on the track.â
Gaz and Soap both hung their heads.
âHopefully she comes to her senses by the time youâre able to even hold that thing again, let alone use it.â
âYes sir.â Gaz locked the phone again, but he couldnât wipe the smile off his face.
You mustâve looked at his page, and no matter what crazy thing Soap had sent you, you liked him.Â
That knowledge carried him through so many laps on the track he vomited up things he swore he hadnât eaten since he was 5, scrubbing bunks and latrines on his hands and knees until a hole opened in his pants over one knee, and endless up-downs until he and Soap had to literally pull each other up and help each other down.
When he finally collapsed in the locker room later, swearing heâd make it to the shower before he even thought of climbing in bed, he managed to dig his phone out of his locker first.
He was suddenly nervous, you were so gorgeous to him, and if your response was some pitying virtual head pat, heâd jump in front of the next Humvee he saw.
Then again, it was Price who said you liked him, and the man had no reason to or interest in making him feel better about the matter.
He unlocked the phone and quickly opened the app before he lost his nerve.Â
You: âUm excuse me???â
He winced.
You: âOh wait, I checked out your page. Youâre from the UK? I didnât know what you were sayingđ . I still kinda donât, but now I donât think youâre creepyâŚyouâre actually pretty cute. Thanks for your service.đđŤĄâ
His heartbeat sped up, and all his aches and bodily gripes were forgotten as he leaned forward on the bench. You had all his attention, and you quite possibly didnât mind that.
He smirked, proud of his carefully curated page and the body his job helped him maintain. The more he thought about it, the more he realized how silly he was for worrying. Of course you had some interest in him, he could match your energy with ease.
He opened the keyboard ready to respond when all his short-lived bravado fell down around him. What the fuck was he supposed to say back?
âââââ
Johnny:
It made the two of you somewhat uncomfortable when you thought about how much chance it took for you guys to meet. The thought of not being together felt more foreign than you two ever had to each other. Johnny chose not to dwell on it, accepting how lucky he was often overshadowed the thought.
Your best friend since college was getting married, and you were not only maid of honor, but the wedding planner. Scotland was the homeland of your friend, and you knew on a good day she missed it with her whole heart.Â
You did your best to incorporate her culture and her friends and family abroad into the ceremony.
This, it turned out, included her brotherâs best friend John âSoapâ MacTavish, who was also a family friend.
âIs Soap a umâŚtraditional Scottish name?â youâd asked, holding up the name list sheâd given you, and thinking your friend was setting you up for a joke.
âHe was Johnny for years, but he came back from his dream job, built like a house, and was like âThey call me Soap now.â.â she deepened her accent and voice to mock what you assumed he sounded like. âDonât pay it any mind, heâs still our Johnny.â
So John âThey call me Soap nowâ MacTavish was sent an invitation too. What you did not expect was her family to come into the country as quickly as they did. You still had a few weeks of planning, and from the moment they flooded her townhome, you were swept into their familial hurricane.
They couldnât have been sweeter to you, but they all had input. You were overwhelmed within 30 minutes of being with them, despite your friend reeling them in repeatedly.
Johnny became your touchstone when, based on his energetic introduction, you expected him to be part of the chaos.
As you took notes and suggestions, he was the one who translated when the accents got too thick, or they slipped into Scots.
Someone got a little too aggressive with their suggestion, or talked over you? Johnny was calling out over the din and restoring the closest thing to order that he could.
His helpfulness didnât end that evening. He became your living official Scotland handbook.Â
The work youâd dreaded being added on top of what you already had to do found a partial home on his shoulders. Every choice you brought before your friend and her family received loud approval, and Johnny refused your credit every time. Claiming it was your beautiful, quick, and organized mind making the magic happen.
He was at your place bright and early every morning, the two of you forgetting you were virtually strangers whoâd been thousands of miles apart the majority of your lives.
In the process of planning and arranging, you showed Johnny your neck of the woods, and the culture in Atlanta. He was fascinated by everything and youâd never been happier, having his complete and utter interest.
He loved your accent, he loved how friendly the people in the mom and pop places you took him to were, he loved how proud you were to be a Georgia girl.
He would always be a proud son of Scotland, so he got it.
âYouâre really eatinâ the third one now?!â you laughed watching Johnny go through his third hot chicken sandwich. âBoy, youâre crazy!â
âAnd well fed too yeah.â he grinned around the huge bite heâd taken. âIâd punch Ghost square in the back of his head if theyâd bring a Hattie Bâs to Scotland. Of course, Iâd have to stand on a stool.â
âGhost?â you raised an eyebrow, swallowing the fry youâd been chewing.
âOh yeah, my best mate in the service. Heâs like a fuckinâ treeâŚ.if trees hit really hard and were just generally terrifying.â
Your eyes widened. âYouâre in the service, thatâs so cool. Is that the dream job?â
His eyes widened, his chest puffing out in pride at your words. âI am, youngest member to make it into my unit too. Got lucky with a pretty good team.â
âThat where you get the name Soap? What is that about by the way?âÂ
He stopped chewing, swallowing hard. Visions of what his nickname referred to came to mind, and he felt like a wall was coming between the two of you. He wasnât ashamed of his career, or most of the things heâd done to maintain it, but itâd been nice to almost be a civilian again. He hadnât been just John or Johnny in a long time.
The distance from home, and the crush he wasnât even going to pretend he didnât have, helping the fantasy.
 âYeah.âÂ
You senses the tone change, and started to withdraw your curiosity. âWe can drop it.â
âNah, itâs not a bad thing Bonnie, itâs justâŚâ he furrowed his brow in thought, and you resisted the hard urge to touch him. âThis is the first leave Iâve had inâŚmaybe ever that I donât feel a thin wall âtween me and my people. Itâs just nice for a little bit.â
âSay less.â You pushed your seasoned fries towards him, snorting at his excited expression. âLetâs talk about how much I love it when you call me Bonnie instead.â
He choked, and your small hands found his back, pounding on what felt like a stone wall. âJesus hen, you canât just drop somethinâ like that when a manâs mid swallow.â
You brushed your hand over the back of his neck as you retracted it back to your person. Lowering your voice to a soft decibel. âI like when you call me that too.â

John Price:
How heâd let himself be talked into a cruise of all things, John would never know.Â
âŚ.
That wasnât true.
The pretty American office worker flagged him down when he went in for his briefing with the higher ups. She looked distressed, and John could feel that protective nature of his rear up in his chest and stiffen his spine. Before he could even register that heâd spoken, heâd told her whatever his help could provide, it was hers.
Sheâd flustered at that, tucking some hair behind her ear, and gave a sheepish smile. Her reaction sent a shock of pride from his brain to his cock.
She explained how she and a friend group back home had made plans for a week-long cruise out of Florida. Sheâd been looking forward to it, missing her home country, and having planned it out very carefully in the group chat. Then, earlier that week, it was brought to the light that one of the girls slept with the husband of another one.Â
Sides were taken, she was attacked for being out of the country and unaware of the nuanced changes in the group, and then all the girls pulled out, essentially leaving her holding four tickets and the shreds of a perfect vacation.
That was you. A mess whoâd been arguing with the travel agency, trying to wrangle all of your friends, and figure out how you wound up wasting several thousand dollars at that point.
John just stood there, like a coat rack with a bucket hat on top. Stiff, and unsure of what to do, say, or even what expression he should school his shocked features into.Â
He stood there long enough for you to become embarrassed and wave him off and return to your desk.
âIâm so sorry I bothered you. God, youâre a Captain! Itâs just, my momma and daddy have been on me from the beginning about how much of waste a trip like this isâŚâgirl why would you spend that much to float in the ocean with a bunch of strangers, you can borrow our boat and fish in the lake for freeâ.â you trailed off, realizing you were rambling and shoved your face in your hands.
He thought you were adorable. Most days, he wanted to find the nearest surface and have you on it, only to be embarrassed that at his age, he was thinking like a teenager.Â
However, right then you were just plain adorable, accent in full swing because you were upset. John knew you were from somewhere in the southern US. Louisiana? Texas?
He approached your desk, hands splayed as he leaned his weight forward. âLove, itâs not a problem. Iâm just not sure what I can do about itâŚaside from hunting down the husband and siccing Laswell on the other girl.â
You gave a full belly laugh. âThat could work.â
He grinned, sitting on the edge of the desk, deciding he wanted more of the laugh and soon.
You quieted and started fiddling with a pen thatâd been nearby. âBut seriouslyâŚI would never ask you this if I thought I had other options. Itâs justâŚyouâre the person Iâve gotten closest to so far here, and um..I spent so much on those tickets. I even saved from my first paycheck into this last one..â
Your words were coming out fast and close, but John could pick them out. Admitting he was closer to you than anyone in the country warmed him so much, he didnât care if the next words out of your mouth were asking him to reimburse you. He couldnât imagine what else you could ask for, but at that point heâd do it.
âDo you mind filling in those spots for me with your team? Itâs a perfect amount of tickets, and then I wonât be all alone, and it wonât be a waste, and just ugh! I need you to save my ass Captain Price.â you looked up at him with wide pleading eyes.
For a fraction of second, Price wondered if you knew what you did to him, and that you could use that look to take over the mind of a weapon western governments spent a small fortune to train.
Then your request hit him like a train. You wanted him, and the adult nursery school heâd wrangled into the formation of the 141 to crash your vacation? Your sanity was up for debate.
âAt any given time Iâm working with half a shared brain cell between two muppets, and their long-suffering murder pet. I donât think youâve thought this through.â
âOh.â
âIn fact, their jackets read like the instructions for taking care of a Gremlin. No cruises is pretty high up there.â John tried to humor his way out of the suggestion until he caught sight of your face.Â
You looked so disappointed, but then your expression shifted to one he couldnât quite read.
âBut youâd be there wouldnât you?â wide pleading eyes just for him, trained on him.
He flushed, reluctantly stepping around what may have been the flirtatious tactic. âSpending my leave pulling duty as a zoo keeper.â
âWork on your tan then Casper, Iâm worried about you. Youâd disappear in a snow storm.â You switched up your tactic again, hoping to amuse him into helping.
Price gave a full-belly laugh of his own, the kind heâd rarely even consider letting out at work. âNegging me isnât going to work love, Iâd stick with begging.â
âDamn.â John watched you rise up again, slipping around your desk in heels he couldnât stare at too long if he wanted to remain professional. âJohn Price, I swear if you donât say yes after this, I donât care where you are on this base I will find you. There, I will salt your coffee and unravel your cigars.â
You inhaled.âJohncanyouandtherestofthe141takethesdamnticketsbeforeIsnap?â
John pretended to think, enjoying watching you literally squirm from the corner of his eye. Despite the jokes, John wasnât truly an old man, but you did make him feel much younger than he was and he liked it.
He liked the tiny carefree moments he spent with you throughout the day, and he supposed thatâd be nice for one sunny week.Â
âIâll toss it to the lads, see what they say, and Iâll get back to you.â
âMeaning youâre going to make them do it.â
âPrecisely.â
ââ-
As he stood before his men, he cursed his gentlemanly nature when faced with a woman in need. Well, if he was being entirely honest, he wasnât being gentlemanly, and maybe this was what he deserved. Â
It wasnât chivalry alone, it was pure, unadulterated thirst. He wanted you the way a very hungry man wanted a woman, and he was thinly veiling it behind a tip of the top hat and cane.
Gaz and Soap made him feel like the 141 father the higher ups teased him about being. They reacted as though daddy came home with a promise of DisneyLand.
âThe last time you told us to pack, I was picking small snakes out of my pack for over an hour. Gotta say, I want this to be a habit Captain.â Gaz was grinning, phone already in hand as he searched for vacation clothes.
âYeah. Didnât expect this when I woke up this morninâ. Youâre not tryinâ to infringe on my prank brand right sir?â
Ghost reacted as predicted. Posture stiff, arms crossed, and his eyes doing all the talking. They said a number of ways Price should die, an even greater number of ways he could go fuck himself, and that heâd try whatever he could to get out of it.
âYouâre not getting out of it.â Price dashed that dream immediately, but heâd let him fantasize about killing him all cruise long if it helped.
âWhy would you want to L.T.?â Soap looked up from where heâd been trying to add items he wanted into Gazâs cart. âMud in yer boots, or bikinis and a pint? Pretty hard choice.â
âI donât wanna see you in a bikini, mate.â Gaz quipped, a grunt leaving him when Soap punched his shoulder.
Price ignored that, and interrupted on the off chance that Ghost would entertain Soap with an answer. âEveryoneâs going, Itâs one week and youâve all seen worse. You will be on time, you will behave and represent this unit accordingly, and by god you will all be gracious for the opportunity.â
The last line was meant specifically for Ghost.Â
Said man smirked behind the mask, tiny details revealed this if you knew what to look for. âDonât worry sir, Iâll be on my best behavior for your pretty little office bird.â
Price swallowed hard, rolling his eyes up to the ceiling as he counted to ten, and ignored Soap and Gazâs aggressive inquiries. He was definitely being punished.
Um, do we need to start a prayer circle, a collection plate, or a dark money PAC to get Kurt Sutter back to do a series do-over? We can even go to HBO so Disney can mind their business this time.
Seriously though, Iâm more annoyed than hurt, because this wasnât bold or challenging writing. This was just the final kick to an overlooked gem of a character.
Coco shouldnât be dead, we shouldnât have worthless characters like Hope or Nails wasting screen time or even in this show, we shouldnât be 4 seasons in and just learning about table members, and EJ shouldnât be running this show.
Completely agree with this especially the part of it not even bold or challenging writing.
To me people saying that oh how are Angel and Gilly gonna take it. Like bruh from the looks of it he really wasnât close to anyone at least not since S2. Like comparing it to Opie is crazy because you canât compare. Opies death actually meant something as to where Coco was killed for nothing. Because article is saying itâs to start a war like there was a war way before Cocoâs death so it was for nothing. I mean regardless if Richard wanted out or not they did Coco dirty.
Girl yes! Opie had a full arc and his death served as not only the club paying the piper for always lying on others, but to send Jax down that final path to the point of no return.
Cocoâs death wonât ultimately mean anything, and they threw away all meaning his character had by season 3. And yes! We spent all of S3 saying how fake a friend Angel was, because he did literally nothing for him. Gilly just mocked and belittled his situation until he finally did something. Now weâre supposed to look forward to their reactionâŚ.đ
