#sinners #just watched this #i was surprised by how much i liked it #i was so angry when the vampires came because i wanted SO BAD for the bar to go right #i SCREAMED several times at my tv and i was so happy when people avoided the danger were they could #i wanted everyone to survive sadly this didn't happen 😔#and yet i found the ending somehow beautiful??? smoke got reunited with his family (part of it since his brother is still a vampire tho-)#BUT HE COULD FINALLY SEE HIS BABY GIRL AGAIN AND THAT ALMOST MADE ME CRY #and i FELT the connection when sammy played for good. all the Black people from different times and the other minorites too #it was so touching??? there was a part where the drums(?) sounded so much like samba i almost thought i was going to see a Black brazilian #too you know?? anyway. this movie slaps. it touched in a way i wasn't expecting i loved it #i think i'll probably rewatch it one day. maybe. i dunno i'm really weird about rewatching stuff but boy did i loved this #0(-( (too many feelings over it now i want the metas talking about every little thing i didn't get because i'm not a Black eua citizen
