anyway to any young transmascs reading this: it is absolutely possible for you to pass. not everyone passes, that is true, but a significant number of us do.

i am almost completely stealth and living in a conservative town in Florida (not by choice lol). i can guarantee you that no one is just humoring me when they refer to me as a man and yet i can count on one hand the number of times I've been misgendered in public since my voice dropped.

and I'm not some hypermasculine lumberjack looking guy either. i am a skinny babyfaced nerd with patchy facial hair. nobody in my town aside from doctors and my family has any idea that I'm not a cis man.
