Okay :) It is his time of year, after all.
So! This is Arthzan :)
He's an alien :)
His species don't have a mouth the same way humans do, instead they eat by shoving things in their slime hair and letting it dissolve and get absorbed.
Now, as for his plot...
He fled his home planet after a massive interplanetary war broke out, killing millions upon billions and forcing himself, his family, and hundred of thousands of survivors to flee their planets. He was one of the pilots of the ship he was on, carrying a tenth of the survivors on their journey to find a new place to call home.
The place they were aiming for was Earth. It was the closest to their home planets- though the gravity was lower than his, and some of the gases in the air weren't quite right for one of the others- and would be the easiest to terraform to fit everyone's needs.
They didn't realize it was occupied, when they set out. They found out as they got closer, and the other nine ships held back. What if the people living there thought they were dangerous? What if the people living there thought they were bringing war?
Arthzan's ship pressed on, to hopefully make contact and be able to broker an agreement for them all to settle on its surface, or perhaps one of the other planets in its solar system, with the other species' help.
When they entered the space around the planet, they ran into a problem.
More specifically, they ran into a satellite.
Arthzan's ship crashes to the surface.
And a human pulls him from the rubble.
This human is Derek, a farmer who just watched a spaceship fall out of the sky. He takes Arthzan back to his home, calls 911, and helps nurse him back to health. Eventually they become boyfriends :)

how does the summer with the twins go for shifter stan? they must figure out the shifter thing, so how does that happen? how do soos and wendy fit into things? do either of them ever know?
Since there's no Carla to shut down the portal, this world goes very similarly to Better World au, where Ford has the Institution of oddology and studies the multiverse and is famous world wide. There's no mystery shack, as Stan's already loaded and doesn't feel the need to bring in an income, and instead helps Ford around with his multiverse exploration and messing around with things they bring back.
So Dipper and Mabel go to visit their super rich and famous grunkles, and man! They must have great genetics because they both look crazy young! Thats weird! The towns still as strange as ever, maybe even stranger from all the multiverse spill over, so they still get a lot of that side of thing just with the added bonus of 'these kids are Pines, if they get hurt then the horror monster that lives with Dr. Pines will mess us up.'
If we're sticking to only shifter Stan, then soos is still hired as a handy man for the institute, and wendy is the front desk clerk they have fancier uniforms but act exactly the same. Ford would fire wendy except Dan built his house and not a lot of people want to work at a place that pokes holes in the fabric of reality. He has to take what he can get. Soos was one of Stan's '12 is almost like an adult for humans right?' Hires that he got attached to.
So there'd be an extended cast of crazy scientists who choose to live and work in Gravity Falls, each with their own special brand of madness for the younger twins to interact with. They show up expecting it to be a super serious institution but every day they learn a new code word for 'someone has made a mistake, run or hide or please come fix it' as chaos erupts and something explodes.
I figure the shifter thing would replace 'not what he seems' and the 'gonna live 300 years' would be the 'of course I know it's real, I'm not an idiot' spiel. Dipper maybe keeping an eye on Stan, or someone from the government finally noticed the two guys who haven't aged in 30 years and want the secret to immortality, or one of Stan's enemies finally catch onto him. I don't have a solid idea, just that there would be a reactive 'when did you replace our real grunkle Stan!' Only for Ford to go 'no no, Stan's been like this our whole lives. This is normal.'
I think Wendy would know, just not acknowledge it to keep with her cool girl image, and soos suspects somethings up but doesn't know until the twins do, as theyre all together when the secret slips.
felt inspired to doodle the NWHS of this timeline bc the thought of dipper and mabel confronting the "malicious entity" that "replaced" their "real" grunkle was too funny to pass up
so! they put him in The Tube, shifty-style
and of course, we can't leave out ford stumbling upon them at the Critical Moment
obviously everything turns out fine, though stan may get a little bit frozen. as a Treat.

Hi!!! I’ve been re-entering my gravity falls phase, which means I obviously have to go through all of your art again. Obviously. I love your artstyle so much and your portrayals of the Pines are so in-character even though they’re headcanons (although many of them feel like canon, tbh).
