I’ve had the opinion for a long time that if they retooled the final season of friends to be be climactic (which honestly doesn’t seem like I’d be that hard) it could’ve been the perfect final season and watching TOW they all turn 30 and hearing “Well, here we are. Have it revolve around a doomed wedding
And a hasty marriage
Involve some British people
Obnoxious parents cause chaos
Focus the story on a couple that isn't the bride and groom
Have someone try to confess their feelings at the worst possible time
Throw in some scandalous post rehearsal dinner moments
Make the audience think the wedding will go on as intended and the love story is doomed until the last second when they pull an uno reverse

The friends writers had two main relationships in the show and accidentally wrote them to be the inverse of each other and it’s is hilarious
-Ross pining after Rachel since high school vs Chandler and Monica hating each others guts when they first met
-Ross being a golden child and Rachel being popular in school vs Chandler being ignored by his parents and Monica being picked on by everyone
-Ross and Rachel getting together being this big huge dramatic moment vs Chandler and Monica getting together being written as a joke
-Ross and Rachel having every single piece of relationship drama being public knowledge with their friends vs Chandler and Monica hiding their relationship for months
-Ross being furious Rachel has to work on their anniversary, doesn’t listen to her and comes to her office (which leads to the fight that ended their relationship) vs Chandler causally saying “oh Monica had to work Valentine’s Day so we’re celebrating tonight”
-Ross and Rachel getting married in Vegas because they’re drunk vs Chandler and Monica almost getting married in Vegas because they’re in love
-Ross accidentally getting Rachel pregnant when they weren’t even dating vs Chandler and Monica having fertility problems when they’re married and trying for kids
-Ross and Rachel arguing for years about if they were on a break vs Chandler and Monica not having any fights lasting more than an episode
