Soooo who remembers the L & Light Gametoys figure promo photos that were circulating last year? Well, I may have made a bonkers financial decision and actually bought them for giggles. They finally arrived and the time has come to see what they're like! Not a review, just an unhinged reaction and two Death Note fans playing with dolls.

Though if you want my actual review, here's what I'll say:

The quality seems very good

the heads are too small lol

the bodies are well-made and very detailed (literally even L's feet lmao)

it's hard to change the hands

Light is in the high school blazer rip

the little props are very fun (though I'm afraid of losing the utensils if I ever unwrap them) and of decent quality (not the best & not the worst imo)

the headset falls apart a lot so be careful with it haha

S and I look forward to bringing you more fun skits, CMVs, and other cosplay creations under this new name. While "Tea and Cosplay" will remain nostalgic to us and will certainly always have a very special place in my heart, this change excites me too :)

But yeah, I remember creating my channel and other accounts back in college and naming them Tea and Cosplay, while all alone in my dorm one night… 🥺💕 since then we've created many projects under that title, and cosplay friends even nicknamed me Tea <3 We knew we wanted to keep tea in the title, and eventually settled on the addition of 'ruby.' Honestly, after much thought it works! Not just with the cosplay channel vibes, but also with me personally! I've been obsessed with the color red since I was little haha, my favorite kind of tea is red tea, and my birthstone is even a ruby xD I guess some things just make sense. So, here's to whatever cosplay creations and shenanigans await us as RubyTeaCos. Aside from the new graphic design in certain places, not much will be changing. Well, except that we hope to become more active again on youtube! ☺️ With all that said, love you all and see you soon! ♦️
