I think how it works is that life is basically this big museum and God dropped us off and was like, "I'll pick you up at 5" and left without a ton of other instructions. So there's a lot of speculation as to like, what he wants us to DO here, right? So some of us were like "I think he wants us to learn as much as possible" and like go from room to room carefully reading the labels, and some of us were like "I think he wants us to have fun" and run around trying to find the coolest stuff, and some of us are like "He definitely would NOT be happy if he knew I looked at some of those galleries so I'll avoid those" and others are like "In fact I'm gonna not look at ANY of the galleries and keep my eye right on the door where I know he'll pick us up" and others are like "AAAA HE CAN'T SEE US WE CAN DO WHATEVER" and are like beating up other kids and throwing garbage at the paintings
And then after all that God picks us up and is like "What did you think?" And you can tell him all the facts you've learned or which pieces resonated with you the most or what you tried to draw yourself and he'll nod and listen and be like "I THOUGHT you'd like that one" or "I'm sorry you found that one painting so disturbing, how were the other ones" etc. And if you were like "I stared right at the door and waited for you and didn't look anywhere else" he won't be mad necessarily but he'll kinda look disappointed and be like "Oh. Well that was kind of a waste, no? I was really looking forward to hearing about your experiences." And if you were like "I beat up a bunch of other kids and destroyed a statue" he'll be like "??? That's awful, you're getting a time out" like he probably won't like flay you into ribbons and fricasee the pieces but he'll be really mad and be like, "You had this whole beautiful place to explore and you chose to do this with your limited time" and then we go home and depending on things maybe you can come back to the museum but it won't be the you that went before, whether because you know more or you like different things or because everything we ever experience changes us, etc. Like you know what I mean?
