Easy and quick, a little greeting before going his own way, it's only that, right as he was about to move back, squeezing Cas' shoulder one last time before releasing him, Castiel has closed his hand around his wrist, keeping him in place, pinned too under his gaze.

Dean gets it, this is a learning curve for the both of them, and it's still kind of complicated for them to ask for what they want, unable to believe yet this is theirs, forever, and by now he can tell what that specific look Castiel is giving him mean.

If Dean could hear prayers in his head, the same way Cas can hear them, he would be hearing a quiet, tiny and a bit sheepish kiss me?

And there is no way he can say no to that.

He lifts his free hand to close his fingers around Cas' chin, keeping the one on Cas' shoulder in place, closing his fist around the fabric of his coat, "c'mere, sweetheart." He mutters, leaning down again, tilting his head down once more, he tilts, gently, Castiel's face up and lets their lips meet, it was supposed a quick kiss too, but nothing can't break them apart until the need for breath, in Dean's case anyway, turns more urgent and unavoidable.

Castiel looks up at him, with the same awe on his face he had after their very first kiss, " you make me feel so alive," he says, " I thought I was alive before, but that was just existing."

Dean's breath hitches when he is already out of breath, Cas smiles up at him, like he hasn't just said one of the most romantic things Dean has ever heard in his life, like he isn't talking like some poet on a Thursday afternoon. Like he doesn't know he makes Dean feel alive too, even when they are apart.

“What are you drinking?” Sam’s cautious voice breaks through his reverie, and Dean doesn’t bother to try and cover up the alcohol despite the coffee cup it’s being drunk out of.  “Whiskey,” he says flatly.  There’s a moment of judgemental silence during which Dean watches his brother stare at the mug like there might be something other than alcohol in there. “Straight?”  “Bisexual,” Dean says, throwing the word out into the still bunker air and hoisting his mug like it’s a celebration. Why not start being all proud and shit right here, right now?  “What?” The confusion painted over Sam’s face is kind of funny, actually. Dean can’t help the grin pulling at his lips. Messing with Sam is a benefit he hadn’t even considered.  Suddenly in a fantastic mood, he shoots him his most obnoxious grin, “Pretty homophobic to assume someone’s straight, Sammy. I thought you were better than that.” Dean goes for gold and claps a palm to his chest for dramatic effect, “And your own brother, too. Shame.” Sheer, unadulterated panic flits over Sam’s face and Dean soars. He is the funniest person ever to exist. This is the best idea he’s ever had. Pride freaking rocks. 

Happy Destiel Day! Lets not leave Cas in the Empty, because why would you do that? Dean is going to get his angel back.
