Lavender Ace Flag:

|| My version of a 5 stripe Asexual flag, that matches the aro, aroace and other a-spec/ LGBTQIA+ flags (and is way more aesthetically pleasing in my opinion because of the symmetry and the colours). It's a flag for anyone on the asexual spectrum. (Feel free to use this if you like it!)

Possible meanings for the stripes:

black: asexuality

grey: grey ace spectrum

white: sexuality

lavender: queerness/ the queer community

purple: the ace community

lavender already exists in the LGBT+ community as a colour representing queerness, diversity and acceptance.

That makes lavender a really good fit for this new ace flag!

The aloe vera flag was redesigned by fandom user RavenFire803 on July 1th, 2021. @themogaidragon remade it to make it less aggressive to eye and better quality. Swayromantic: is an identity on the aro spectrum where one feels little romantic attraction but when they do they choose the person and they actually start to like them swayromantic individuals may also be able to control when they stop liking the person other times the crush kinda fades (it doesn't always have too that's just my experience and I made up the identity so I'm biased to my experience)

The Colors: Green = Aromanticism, Red = Romance, White = The Spectrum, Gray = The Gray Area, and Black = Control(please tell me if i can do better this is my first time doing this)

Yes we can. But it’s our call if we do. And it’s certainly not gonna be with anyone who tries to use the fluidity of our experiences as a clap back to break firmly set boundaries.

And that fluidity doesn’t make sexual/romantic repulsion that some of us experience any less true or valid.

I’ve never had sex and I never will. The sheer concept of it viscerally disgusts me.

I’ve never experienced any form of sexual attraction and know at this point i likely never will. I have zero framework for it when people talk about it. It confuses me.

“Little to no romantic/sexual attraction” has a no in it for a reason. Because aro/ace people who don’t experience sexual/romantic attraction at all regardless of circumstance are in fact real.

Other ace people have different experiences. They’re allowed to. Their experiences aren’t mine or anyone else’s to make. Nor are mine theirs.

Sexualities are complicated and often fluid sure. But one thing they’re not is negotiable.

Doesn't have a meaning, just an alternative Cupid's Aro flag!

I had this idea to make an aromantic pride flag based on the concept of Cupid's arrow. "Cupid's aro" is a pun that I've seen every now and then, but as far as I can tell, it doesn't have any assigned meaning within the aromantic community. This term has been floating around in my brain for at least several months, and I wanted to make something of it. So, here's my coining:

"Cupid's aro" is a term for aromantic people who have a notable connection to attraction, romance, love, affection, intimacy, and/or partnership. For example, this includes:

People on the aromantic spectrum who experience some level of attraction, regardless of whether that attraction is romantic or not. This includes greyromantics, aroallos, oriented aroaces, etc.

People on the aromantic spectrum who are romance-favorable, romance-indifferent, or otherwise have feelings towards romance which can't be described as wholly averse or repulsed.

People on the aromantic spectrum who are partnering, regardless of whether they are romantically partnering or not.

People on the aromantic spectrum who experience love.

People on the aromantic spectrum who enjoy being deeply affectionate and/or intimate with other people.

People on the aromantic spectrum who enjoy aesthetics like lovecore, and/or enjoy holidays like Valentine's day.

It's an intentionally loose term because I'm not the first to come up with it, and I won't be the last. I'm mostly coining this for fun.

An aro identity in which love, however one defines it, is placed at the center of one’s identity and considered to be integral to how one moves through the world.

I use the term Love-Integral Aro, but the original flag is very hard for me to see because of my disabilities and sensory issues so I made these flags for myself! Anyone can use them though

The first has higher saturation on the blue and green in the flag, to make it easier to distinguish from the white. The second is the first flag but with lower brightness to avoid eyestrain!

Pocket Orientation: a sexual orientation, romantic orientation, or relationship orientation that is used by only a small group of people, and is not well-known to the general queer community.

This encompasses pocket sexualities, while also including romantic orientations and relationship orientations. It goes alongside with pocket genders.

The black is for a-spec, ater-spec, or non-partnering orientations and/or attraction to genderless or partially-gendered people.

Blue is for orientations that include attraction to masculine genders and/or include alterous attraction.

Pink is for orientations that include attraction to feminine genders and/or include romantic attraction.

Green is for orientations that include attraction to neutral genders and/or include sensual attraction.

Yellow is for orientations that include attraction to outherine or xenic genders, and/or include platonic or queerplatonic attraction.

Purple is for orientations that include attraction to androgynous genders and/or include sexual attraction.
