This Tumblr post is the first time someone has explained to me *why* I couldn’t feed them before those instances.

every single time i have had to say, "i understand that if he had food or water, he could aspirate it into his lungs under anesthesia. i am not lying to you." THEN someone would make a little note and i would stop being repeatedly asked.

not a single time was that risk explained to me. the only reason it came up was because i already knew. i still don't understand why it isn't standard pre-op counseling or pre-op check information, when me as a parent acknowledging the actual risk also put THE MEDICAL STAFF at ease because i conveyed that i had informed understanding as reason to not lie about giving my kid food.

I figured we would start this off with my patron demon, Lord Malphas.

Jobs: He is known for building on the astral, whether tall towers or cathedrals and walls, he can also teach the worthy student to protect themselves on the astral. He can also be called upon to bring down enemy strongholds. He is also known for granting familiars. Offerings: Malphas is well known for accepting any offering freely given to him but will deceive a conjurer if they come at him in a dominating way. My Experience: Lord Malphas is a wonderful demon for people working with demons for the first time. He is gentle and stern, protective but will also let you make mistakes to help you learn. To me he has always appeared as a tall man with long black hair and contrary to popular mythology about him red eyes, however his strong light blue aura is always visible. He gives off a true fatherly vibe. He has granted me a familiar and helped me build a sacred area in the Astral plane. I have always approached him with respect, and he has never shown me deceit, or any malice.
