some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.

I couldn't remember the word "doorknob" ten minutes ago.

I was thinking abt Luo Binghe today and i just can't get out of my head that if he was given internet acess he'd be like one of those girls with the teacher crush blogs that really concern you. Like, it'd be things like, "Today Shizun was teaching me sword forms so i pretended to be clumsy so he'd hold me hehe" "Taking care of my hair so it feels soft when Shizun pets me" "Cooking for Shizun so he knows i'd make the perfect wife" then he disappears, so you think he grew out of it, but then he comes back like 3 years, later with some very concerning posts "How could he do that to me??? Was everything a lie???" "Why am i not good enough for him???" "Why is he avoiding me like that when i'm the one he hurt???" "I don't even care why he did, it i just want him to love me" then he disappears, you become even more concern about him but you have to move on bc you don't even know the guy and 5 years later he updates the blog to announce he married his Shizun and everything is ok
