its been one year since i announced my love for the prettiest girl in the world... (*^āæ^*) š¦š¼

Itās been one year since I started officially selfshipping with Patty!!! EEK !!!!! ONE WHOLE YEAR OF FINNPATTY!!!!!!!
Finding Great God Grove really did change my life for the better. I was opened up to such an amazing community, and Iāve met so many wonderful friends, but notably: I found Patty :3c
Patty was always a favorite character of mine. My first ever GGG fanart was of her (who couldāve guessed) and her big moment during Buzzhuzz was--and still is--one of my favorite moments in the whole game. But it did take me like a month of continuously going āSHES SOOO CUTE HOW DO I JUMP INTO MY SCREEN AND TELL HER I LOVE HERā to realize Hey. I donāt think that's Normal behavior actually (dumbass lesbian).
And ohh my god ever since I properly realized I had Feelings for her, Iāve only fallen more and more in love every day..,,.,. SHE REALLY IS SO CUTE yew dont wanna know how long I could ramble on about her cuteness. Literally the sweetest most beautiful pretty adorable girl in da whoooole wide world <33 MY DARLING CUPPYCAAKEEEā¦ thinking about her makes me so emotional sometimes . Like she really is perfect CAN WE ACKNOWLEDGE HER PERFECTNESSā¦ PLEASEā¦ she has the sweetest face ever and such a kind heart and ouhghjj all I wanna do is bring her a hundred roses and kiss her all over and compliment her as much as I possibly can . I really do feel like my love for Patty has improved my life. Iāve said this before, but Iāve started to appreciate the world around me so much more. I stop to look at pretty flowers and Iām so much more willing to go out on a nice walk, and itās just so nice to see the world through a much brighter lens again. I love being reminded of Patty everywhere I look, in every pretty flower and every sunny sky :-) Iāve been a lot more motivated to make art, too. Art of Patty mostly, of course, but Iāve been having so much fun trying to think of new outfits to put her in or trying out new skills, even if just to make more Patty stuff. Iāve been wanting to learn how to sew for a loooong time, and I finally did it just because I wanted to make a little Patty plush. And itās great!! I bought a sewing machine!! I hope to make more stuff in the future, and I hope to learn other new crafts too!!!
Most importantly, Iāve felt more motivated to keep going. To get up in the mornings, and to not give up on myself, and a big part of that is because I have her to look forward to. I can just . Draw her !! Whenever I feel like it !! I can draw her looking cute and my day will instantly get better. Or I can look at other people's wonderful art of her !! Or I can replay the game and throw every possible line of dialogue at her and then pause whatever Iām doing during that chapter just to run in circles around her for like 5 minutes !!! There have been so many times where Iāve felt so terrible and frustrated and ready to cry, but literally just looking at the gallery on Pattyās wiki page will automatically calm me down again.
I know that what I have is weird. I donāt necessarily mean that in a bad way, Iām proud of my weirdness. I like being happy, even if it may not make sense to everyone. Sometimes, though, I do worry if Iām too weird. If Iām too annoying or if I talk too much about her, and everyoneās secretly tired of me. But this fandom has been nothing but welcoming and accepting of my love for Patty :] Iāve received so so many lovely messages and comments about my selfship and how I draw Patty, and it all means a lot to me. Thank you to all of my friends, mutuals, and followers. I donāt have to feel out of place or like I donāt belong here, when Iām surrounded by some of the most supportive people Iāve ever met.
I do wish Patty could be real. I wish for it constantly. I want nothing more than to really be able to celebrate this day WITH her. Yet, Iām still so glad to experience this love I have for her. I love pouring my heart out into my art and writing of her. I love thinking about her and discussing her with my friends. I love love love giving her the appreciation and attention that she very much deserves. Getting to express such deep, unapologetic love really is a gift in itself.
I tend to move on from interests somewhat quickly, no matter how invested I was in that piece of media at the time. But given how this one has been going, and how dedicated Iāve beenā¦ even if my interest in GGG eventually fades, Iām sure what I feel for Patty, and the impact she's had on me, will last a long time.
Happy anniversary to my princess, my sunshine, my angel. Cheesy but whatever. I love yew <3 mmmwah !! ššš
