hmmm i kinda just formed this idea for a book/story about a female thrill killer who is extremely depraved, told from her perspective. i dont want to write a boring cop book where they hunt her down i just want to write a woman doing horrible awful things, and you know get inside her head.

i am currently pondering between a btk/zodiac style torture lady who writes taunting letters and a straightforward necrophile (dennis nilsen) and then lastly a combination of those. she also needs to have an incestuous relationship with her mother and also a fixation on a specific body part/item (like the finnish leather glove strangler) but i want it to be something unconventional and not extremely obvious (as a link between the killings)

I have kind of a niche political view on tumblr, which is that I think misogyny is bad even when it’s just hurting women

and I don’t even think it needs to have a singular benefit for men for feminism and the abolition of patriarchy to be worthwhile

in fact the abolition of patriarchy could be a net loss for men and I would still think that feminism and the abolition of patriarchy was worth it

when you have a hammer everything looks like a guy you could kill with a hammer

my most lukewarm take is that I don't think there should be any exemptions for vaccines, etc., beyond documented legit adverse medical shit that makes it physically impossible. like they should be free and required and nobody should be allowed to just choose to leave their child and any immunocompromised person they interact with vulnerable to potentially deadly but entirely preventable diseases and other medical conditions.

my lukewarm addition to this is that i think refusing your child vaccines is child abuse, just like refusing to feed them

continuously amazed at how easily people view JK rowling's bigotry as completely and entirely abstract. like she's not "a famous author who has some bad views" she's an influential bigot, as in, directly funds projects that harm trans women, directly contributes to transmisogynist legislation. to buy harry potter merch isn't just like, oh, i support the art not the artist. it's basically forking over cash to someone who is openly, publicly, fostering a more bigoted world through direct action. it's like watching elon musk do the hitler salute and going "oh well i don't know i just bought the cybertruck cause i like it"
