So, because I made those lists about what various groups of Bleach characters would wear for a formal event, I’ve decided to create a list of this joint formal event as a live-tweeting! So, without further ado, here are the live-tweets from the Shinigami-Human-Quincy-Arrancar-Fullbringer Formal Dinner, held in Karakura Town!

1) Ichigo

“Apparently, there’s a formal dinner tonight with the Gotei 13. And the Espada and Arrancars. And the Quincy. And the Fullbringers. And other Karakura Town people.”

This is a sort-of sequel to the ByaSoi Engagement Reactions list. So! What exactly happened at this wedding?

1) Kensei never showed up. Despite all the captains being required to attend.

As he said, he refused to attend such a dull, emotionless wedding. Soi Fon didn’t care, though. She was glad his presence wasn’t there to enrage her further.

2) It was both a traditional Japanese and Chinese wedding.

Soi Fon is Chinese, after all. And Byakuya is supposed to represent the perfect samurai. Add the fact that they’re both from noble houses, and it was one expensive wedding.

3) The Shinigami Women’s Association threw a big bachelorette party for Soi Fon.

After all, one of their members was getting married! Rangiku brought the male strippers (a.k.a., Hisagi and Kira), Nanao gave Soi Fon plenty of advice for the married life, and Nemu gave a sex talk so X-rated that Soi Fon still needs to recover from it.

4) Yoruichi had a heart-to-heart with Soi Fon before the wedding.

She told Soi Fon that she was proud of her for making it this far, congratulated her on her engagement, wished her all the best, and then hugged her. Soi Fon actually started crying and it took a while for her to compose herself.

5) Renji had a heart-to-heart with Byakuya before the wedding.

He congratulated his captain before the ceremony, and was finally able to tell him what he wanted to say before Ichigo interrupted them. It was truly heartfelt indeed and Byakuya thanked Renji for being there for him on this special day.

6) Rukia cried.

She eventually managed to get over the fact that her brother was marrying the other captain that had wanted her dead. Because they were obviously happy.

7) Omaeda provided the catering.

He had his family chefs create some of the best food for the reception afterwards. Even Soi Fon was impressed at how the food turned out. Though she didn’t say it out loud, she really did appreciate his efforts.

8) Kyoraku got drunk.

It’s a wedding, after all. He went up to make a speech about how proud he was of Byakuya and Soi Fon but passed out in the middle. A very embarrassed Nanao ended up dragging him away.

9) Kenpachi tried to fight Byakuya before the ceremony.

He needed an opportunity before “the wifey banned him from fighting”, as he claimed. Byakuya very sternly turned him down.

10) Rangiku got drunk.

So, it seems Gin has mysteriously survived the Winter War and he’s been pardoned on top of that! And now he’s finally been able to ask Rangiku on a date! Bleach cast, what do you think?

Yamamoto: …I have to question the sanity of your lieutenant, Captain Hitsugaya.

Hitsugaya: You’re doing that now?

Orihime: Well, I know that he was technically our enemy, but he did everything to protect Rangiku-san, right? So I think it’s sweet!

Rukia: Ichimaru is the furthest thing from sweet that I have ever encountered.

Ichigo: This that creepy guy that cut off Jidanbo’s arm, right? …Rangiku-san has weird taste.

Kyoraku: Now, now, let the girl have some fun after all that mess. I might not approve, but they have known each other for a long time and Lieutenant Matsumoto is a big girl, she can take care of herself.

Shuhei: …..

Renji: Come on, man, you never stood a chance. Childhood friends, remember?

Shuhei: …crush a man’s dreams, why don’t you?

Yumichika: They do make a beautiful couple, although I can’t see the appeal of a former enemy…perhaps Matsumoto-san enjoys flirting with danger?

Madarame: Ah, now that’s something I can understand.

Kira: Matsumoto-san, be careful with Captain Ichimaru.

Kira: I’m always here to help you drink your sorrows away when something bad happens.

Ukitake: Don’t stay out too late, you two! And Ichimaru, Central 46 may have pardoned you, but I want Lieutenant Matsumoto back here by eleven pm with no tearstains this time.

Ichimaru: My, aren’t you all positively cruel to me today. Don’t you know I’m still trying to apologize?

Hitsugaya: Well, try harder, because I’m not buying it.

Matsumoto: I’m giving him one more chance, Captain. Don’t spoil it for me.

Hitsugaya: …..

Hitsugaya: …Ichimaru, if you hurt my lieutenant, I’ll kill you.

Ichimaru: …..

Ichimaru: Well, that went better than expected.

He’s very good at working with young children.

Orihime: Pâtissier (Pastry Chef)

She’s very good at baking sweet treats and desserts, and runs her own bakery.

Chad: Veterinarian

I mean, he loves cute animals, so he’s always willing to treat even stray animals.

Ishida: Fashion Designer

He has a great sense of style, after all.

Keigo: Journalist

I think he’d be pretty good at working for a newspaper, honestly.

Mizuiro: Private Investigator

He has an uncanny knowledge of a lot of things, after all.

Tatsuki: Karate Teacher

She owns her own dojo, and her lessons are very successful. She teaches both boys and girls’ karate. 

Chizuru: Stage Director

She is very over-the-top and dramatic.

Karin: Soccer Coach

I think she’d be a great coach, especially for a boys’ team.

Yuzu: Elementary School Teacher

She seems like she’d be a good teacher, especially for elementary school students.

Jinta: Baseball Instructor

He does have some experience in playing baseball, after all.

Let’s sat that the Sternritter are all doctors. Which medical fields would each one specialize in?

Ishida: Ophthalmologist (eye doctor)

He always knows what kinds of glasses his patients need.

Haschwalth: Dermatologist

After all, he is super gorgeous, and he gives very great help when it comes to hair and skin problems.

Askin: Anesthesiologist

He somehow knows the exact lethal dosage of anaesthetics the human body can withstand.

Bazz-B: Hand Surgeon

His services have left patients feeling as though their hands and arms are brand new all over again.

Giselle: Hematologist (blood doctor)

You know, since her power involves the use of blood.

Bambietta: Pathologist (autopsies, blood, etc.)

She was a corpse once, so I’m pretty sure she might have some specialty in this field.

Liltotto: Nutritionist

She always makes sure her patients have the best diets possible.

Äs Nödt: Psychiatrist

Not a very good one, though. Rather than helping people, he instills deep psychological fear within them that leaves them more traumatized than when they came in.

Candice: Cardiologist (heart doctor)

She’s very good at using a defibrillator.

Meninas: Physical Therapist

Since she is super strong. It just feels right, actually.

Lille: X-Ray Technician

You know, since his power is ‘the X-Axis’.

Gremmy: Neurosurgeon (brain doctor)

Because he’s a brain.

Berenice: Psychologist

She sucks, since she just makes her patients question themselves more than solving things out.

Nianzol: Dentist

Because he has two tongues. Yeah, I got nothing.

Gerard: Critical Care Medicine Specialist

At the end of every life-threatening surgery, he always likes to announce how miraculous it was. Much to the patient’s annoyance.

Apacci: I know! We got one Espada who’s the embodiment of emptiness, and another one who only thinks of fighting. How the hell did something like that happen?!
