"Shriveled Saguaro" mixed media quilt wall hanging I drive by this saguaro regularly and have watched it decompose over the years. I took this photo with my Fuji DL-300 film camera and got it printed on fabric. I quilted on it with my domestic sewing machine. It was my first time making artwork like this and I am excited to explore it more! This piece is currently hanging at the Summer Invitational: Melt show at five15arts in Phoenix until the end of August! If you're in the Phoenix area, be sure to check it out.
