juhoon is leaned against the couch, legs stretched over the chaise as a lazy grin tugs on his lips. his gaze follows your every move, letting you know he's paying attention. though, every so often his eyes would flicker to your lips.

he hums as you finish your rant, staring at you with complete heart eyes as you sigh. you notice it, of course. not at first—it takes a few passing moments for you to comprehend that your boyfriend is in fact still there as you rant—but you notice. besides, your boyfriend's love for you has always been very...loud, even if it wasn't said through words.

you rest your elbows against the bone of the couch, legs tucking beneath you as you turn to face him. you sigh defeatedly, "well, that's my day for ya."

juhoon lets out a light chuckle, clearly amused by your ridiculous storytelling. "how was yours?" you say with a hum. he stares blankly at you for a moment.

"better," he hums. "now that you're here."

you hit his shoulder lightly. "so corny," you tease, though there's a fair amount of rosiness climbing up your cheeks.

he grins, head turning away. "it's true though."

you giggle lightly, shaking your head at his remark. suddenly, he turns his head back to you. a small beat silence goes by as he stares at your side profile.

"you really miss me that much?" you say softly, almost coming out as a whisper. you turn your head towards him again, eyes connecting. "everyday, princess."

you feel butterflies in your stomach suddenly—as if you were back in your sophomore year, confessing that you had been crushing on him. goddamn you kim juhoon. he chuckles at your silence, taking it as a sign that he had your heart racing once more.

"c'mere," he says just above a whisper. you follow his direction, climbing into his lap with your legs on either side of him. "missed you tons too." you hum, wrapping your arms around his neck as you lean in to close the distance.

your lips lock onto his, and you feel his hands immediately take hold of your waist, gently gripping them. you tilt your head just enough to deepen the kiss, eliciting a soft groan from him. you hands find its way to the back of his head, running your fingers through his hair.

his lips chase yours immediately after you pull away for air, desperate for more. "god how i've missed you." he says breathlessly, forehead resting against yours. you feel his hand at the back of your head, gently pushing you in to close the distance once more. "missed kissing you so much," he says between kisses.

alsoooo some plans for this blog in the near future/whenever i post a fucking fic—im no longer strictly writing for cortis. im likely going to be writing self-indulgent fics with other fandoms/fixations i've been obsessed over, so if u see a theodore nott fic in the future that's just a self insert in the disguise of a fic x. this isn't to say that im officially done with writing for cortis, of course. im just saying this so i can have an excuse to brainrot over the harry potter universe...gulp...

hai i'm on hiatus but logging in to say that this caught my eye ^.^ i'm not saying coers have or need to listen to black artists in order to listen to cortis and stan them, it's just about understanding that cortis are not the first people to create the sound that they're making !! my rant from months ago was about the fans who refuse to acknowledge that the black community made a lot of the music industry (kpop industry especially).

hiii my eohyeons nation ♡ i really didn't want to make a post as i feel it would be too extra, however after giving it a few weeks to think about, i decided that i didn't want to leave anyone in the dark. with that being said, i have a feeling we all know where this announcement is heading towards.

to keep it short and sweet for the ones who don't want to read my long yap: i will no longer be active on this account. i don't know if, and when i'll come back—but as far as i know, my decision to leave is set in stone.

my choice to quit writing (for the time being, at least) has nothing to do with the community, as cortisblr is such a breath of fresh air from other fandom spaces and i've met such amazing, talented, and genuine friends through this account. starting this account has made me feel so girly and special in ways i cannot explain, and for that i thank you all. im so grateful for each of you for supporting me.

i'm taking this leave to take the weight and guilt off my shoulders for ghosting you all without an explanation. i know it sounds a little silly, but each time i log onto this account or any account relating to my blog, my heart feels heavier than it should. being MIA for 3 months really wasn't my plan at all, nor did i expect to type this up, but unfortunately it's the way things go.

i really did plan to come back eventually—especially now that i'm on my summer break—but my motivation to write for cortis has diminished. i'm still very much into them (#frathyeon we love u), but writing for them (and writing in general tbh :() has been a struggle each time i've tried opening my docs to finish works or start new ones. i'm very sorry to everyone who has requested something and have been left unread because of my lack of motivation and passion. as much as i want to continue writing, i dont want to be posting half-hearted fics that i am not proud to show you all.

i won't be deactivating this account because who knows? maybe i'll come back right after i post this announcement or a month from now. or maybe ill change content once i get into a new fixation lol :p regardless, my account is here to stay and continue to collect dust until i decide to come back #EohyeonsNationNeverDies !!!
