Breeding Boom

Clare was never the brightest girl. She dropped out of school, and big words always hurt her brain. She wasn't sure what state she lived in. But she could do one thing, and that was breed. At age 28, her belly was swelling for the 10th time. Clare didn't know much, but she knew she loved her big belly and her big family.

Her belly was flat. Once.

The future belongs to the full wombed and the big bellied. It's growing in the wombs of women too simple to question why they breed, too busy living in the present to delay gratification, unable ignore the hormonal rewards of perpetual pregnancy. Each subsequent generation will be even more fertile than the last. While the bellies of the educated feminists remain flat and unfulfilled, breeders inherit the Earth one swollen belly at a time.

Rachel walled slowly through her back patio, careful to step over the broken bottles, crushed cans and other garbage that was the remnants of last night's party. With her first calorie packed drink of the day in hand, the 25 year old mother of 8 decided cleaning up would be too much work, and plopped down in the nearest chair. Rachels stomach was packed to the brim as a result of her latest binge, and a dull ache spread outwards from her distended abdomen. As one of her twins kicked into her stomach, Rachel let out a soft, low belch. She was a greedy breeder, and proud of it.
