We’re already seeing signs of this, but I believe the trans movement’s downfall will be that it simply became too confusing and too demanding for anyone except hardcore believers to keep up with, and that this happened far too fast. People are exhausted with the endless demands from the trans community, and with how forceful they are about it. People are confused about the whole thing because it’s built on contradictions, individualism, and sexism. It’s just not something that is sustainable long-term unless you’re fully dedicated to the cause and are able to keep up with how rapidly it changes terminology and moves goalposts.

men saying they just have “rape fantasies” but don’t really want to rape someone is so bizarre because ‘fantasy’ indicates a desirable situation, it is literally something you want or it wouldn’t be a fantasy. do they think we’re stupid. men aren’t fantasising about things they have strong convictions against and would hate to see happen. they’re not fantasising about being hit by a bus or becoming homeless. they just don’t want to go to prison so they try and keep their desires in check with that outcome they really would like to avoid

LGB people don’t need others to “affirm” our sexuality. We don’t need anyone to participate in our own understanding of ourselves. We don’t need surgeries, drugs, and other medical interventions to become our true selves. Quite the opposite: governments have used medical interventions to punish us for being our true selves. We don’t require that language be changed for us, other than simply expanding the definition of marriage—a legal definition—to include same sex relationships. We don’t try to convince ourselves and others that we’re anything other than how we were born. We don’t demand that taxpayers pay for anything related to our sexuality. This is all just off the top of my head…but there are so many differences between us and our goals, and the trans community and their goals.

that love of “boys clothes” or “girls clothes”…that’s your fucking taste in fashion

That belief that if you’re really a girl because you’re delicate, meek, emotional and bad at math? That’s your fucking misogyny.

That belief that you’re not really a girl because you’re not feminine, helpless and shallow? That’s also your fucking misogyny.

The belief that aren’t a girl because you aspire to be an engineer, doctor, or in the trades? That’s your internalized misogyny.

The belief that you aren’t a girl because you feel like a big empty nothing inside? That’s your clinical depression.

One thing that led me to detransitioning was the realization that I hated being a woman, I didn’t hate being female. I hated being made to be quiet, being always less than my male peers and male friends and brother, being sexualized from a young age. I hated being forced to wear feminine clothing that made me feel horrifically uncomfortable, I hated the idea that I HAD to be interested in sex especially sex with men, I hated never being listened to or seen as intelligent, I hated not being safe to enjoy the things I enjoyed (nature hiking, comic book conventions, etc). I just wanted to be seen as HUMAN. Unfortunately no pronouns will ever make the world see female human beings as actually human. But I don’t hate being female. My female body connects me to other female people, as a sister and a friend and a lover. My body serves me. My body is able to create fucking human life. My body cleanses my insides every month to protect me from infection. My body is a fucking marvel of nature. It never needed to change. I never needed to change.

discovering radical feminism has made me fall in love with being a woman again. a common smear campaign against the movement is that we only "trauma bond" and believe womanhood is only suffering etc etc but literally no other group of people has made me feel comfortable with my body, proud of my natural skin and unashamed of being a woman.

even though i'm not a radical feminist, radical feminism is literally the only movement i support. no other actual movement restored a sense of womanhood and what it is and means to be a human female. all of us are just so brave even if the entire world hates us under a guise of "bigotry." i appreciate the movement so very much, it's a bit insane. thank you so much for existing.

Radical feminism has given me the confidence and strength to pursue my career, to stop feeling ashamed of being child free, and to be self sufficient.

i thought sex and gender were different and separate so what the hell does puberty have to do with gender? if male and female are sexes, and man and woman are genders, and there can be male women and female men, then how is puberty even related to gender? or are sex and gender related again? you guys can never keep that straight
