Doug isn’t just a human special effect because he acts well under latex. He inhabits each of his roles, at a level of discomfort and with a lack of sleep that I would find murderous. (Think how early he needs to be in in the morning to have that latex glued on. Think how late filming can go. Doug has rights he sometimes elects not to use, in order to keep a production moving. I’ve seen him asleep propped up in order to keep a movie on schedule.)

I’d like to point out that the foster care system didn’t make these claims, it was the shitty school system.

The person in charge of the foster care system for that area actually threw a shitfit and went off on the school district for making these claims. They made it absolutely clear that they weren’t taking kids away for not being able to pay for lunches and that their priority was keeping kids with their families. They were rightfully pissed that their agency was weaponized to collect lunch money from poor kids.

If you think that people's horror over Jessica Yaniv's behavior is a trans rights issue I have news for you. Being trans does not excuse racism, sexual harassment or pedophilia. You can also call out a litigious, bigoted, predatory creep without it being an indictment of trans women as a whole.

That said, reading about the ten year old girl/tampon thing made me physically sick. So did the demand that a bunch of vulnerable immigrant women be deported because they didn't know how to/want to perform a "Brazilian" on testicles.

Jessica Yaniv doesn't deserve support. That's not because she's trans, but because she's a spectacularly terrible person.

Use the Walgreens Brand which is pretty cheap and it does wonders and doesn’t leave me with a white cast. And I’m dark as hell so I hate looking ashy but not all sunscreens are made equally and it’s one of the better ones I’ve used.
