^ well yes, and the reason we want to bring back cgi dragons is that any live dragons you see on screen were most likely unethically caught in the wild. even if they’re properly cared for in captivity and appear well-trained, it just encourages poaching and reduces the wild population in ways that are detrimental to their native ecosystem
