hi! my name is sloane, i’m 24, + my pronouns are she/they :) i’m neurodivergent and an indigenous canadian.
i’m a housekeeper, currently cleaning summer vacation cabins. it’s mostly okay, but i hate changing the duvet covers.
i live with my partner, and i use #dylan posting to organize posts i think he might like. we don’t share a lot of fandoms so i often don’t fully understand those posts. we have a wonderful little cat named bea! pics of her can be found under #bea posting. i’m pretty bad at tagging otherwise, so this blog isn’t as organized as i’d like it to be.
i like writing, and i plan on starting to publish some of it soon, so stay tuned for that. that’s more of a 2027 goal though, i’m trying to learn coding in order to create a website so i have a portfolio i have more control over. i write poetry, social commentary, and i am currently working on a novel.
i have been getting back into witchcraft lately, so i may start posting about that and will tag under #witch posting. however to be clear about religious/spiritual views: i am against organized religion, don’t believe in god, and take everything with a grain of salt. i believe “magic” is just setting your intentions, and things like tarot are just tools for introspection and self growth. i’m pro believing there is whimsy in the universe, but i’m also pro science.
i’m a recovering alcoholic, so if you see me drunk posting feel free to remind me i’m not supposed to be doing that. i love being Held Accountable.
i smoke weed recreationally and medicinally, so if you see me posting about being really high, say hell yeah that’s awesome
i won’t make a DNI because i don’t believe it really stops anybody, but i do block fairly liberally, mainly over politics. so just know that if you are racist, xenophobic, sexist, homophobic, transphobic (that includes you, terfs and gender crits), a SWERF, ableist (this includes addiction and other “self inflicted” disabilities), etc, this is not a safe space for you, and if your blog reflects these beliefs you will be blocked swiftly and without remorse. this is My phone, my internet and my tumblr account. i do not have to read your numbnuts takes and not hearing you out doesn’t constitute me creating an echochamber. it constitutes me choosing who i hang out with, much like real life.
