I swear I am this close to leaving the therian community. Some of you are insufferable. I just want to be in a space where I am able to express myself without fear of backlash because of some stupid shit.
Just so some of you know,
I support transspecies alterhumans
I support alterhumans who wear non-human packers
I support beings who draw nsfw furry content
I support beings whose alterhumanity is connected to their sex lives
I don't fucking care if I'm "technically an otherkin" because to you werewolves aren't real. That's crazy fucking invalidating. I am a werewolf therian, a physical werewolf, a werewolf full stop.
I'm sick of the drama in this community, some of you kids need to learn some fucking Internet etiquette like I did. And some of the adults too, you are fucking childish if you choose to involve yourselves in drama that doesn't concern you.
Also, please stop making drama out of nothing and learn that there are adults in this community who are sexually active and express that because they are adults.
No, animalistic packers aren't zoophilia because a penis isn't inherently sexual. Y'all need to shut it with the "eww penis gross, I don't like it" preschool talk. Its a part of the body grow the fuck up, block it and move on. I'm not even going to get into the fact that beings probably act this way because of the fact the penis had been demonised recently because "all men are gross and evil" shit that gets spouted online nowadays. When that is very harmful language considering the fact that some trans men/mascs consider themselves to have a penis pre-op or that some trans men get a penis after surgery. There are trans women/fems who have a penis. There are intersex beings who have a penis and non-binary beings can have them as well.
And no, I don't think animalistic sex toys are zoophilia. THEY AREN'T REAL ANIMALS. If a being is into primal play, or fucking their mate with a werewolf dildo I don't care its their choice and they aren't hurting anyone.
We can't say shit like "being a therian involves all parts of my life" then turn around and say that someone is a freak for saying that their alterhumanity involves their sexuality.
Just please learn the actual definitions of these serious fucking labels and stop accusing every slightly nsfw being in the community of being a criminal.
^ THISSS OMG!! As soon as I heard about this stupid discourse a while back I immediately went, “What about trans men/mascs who want a packer specifically for gender euphoria reasons?”.
It’s wild how so many people waste their time on accusing people of being ‘weirder than the acceptable level of weird’. I think their thought process is, many people outside of the community always compare therianthropy as a whole to zoophilia and when the fact that alterhumanity may affect sexuality…. People don’t know how to make that ‘presentable’ to people outside of the community so…. They, themselves are the ones to point the finger and say; “We’re not like them! They’re the bad ones!!”
it really is that a lot of it is not understanding terms and the meanings behind them or are just trying to justify their knee-jerk reaction as a moral stance.
- zoophilia is, by definition, having sex with an animal that cannot give consent by human standards.
- a packer or dildo is not used or needed in that process. packers are used just for our own comfort and dildos are used by us for those shaped like us.
these 2 ideas are not compatible and are only tangentially related in the sense of non-human genitalia. not even actual genitalia, but a prosthetic. it's pretty easy to understand if you're not focused on following an automatic reaction. it's also a fairly logical conclusion that if you want a different body, there are definitely going to be those of us that want the entire body, even the unmentionables. even if it's uncomfortable to think about, largely because of zoo accusations that are lobbed at us all the time.
really, it's no different than the weirdly shaped dildos that don't resemble anything, it's just a piece of silicone. there shouldn't be any issue when used between consenting parties. nobody is getting hurt here.
i have noticed that there tend to be a lot of rules and social niceties that are strictly enforced in the community. that's largely what keeps me from really engaging for long periods of time. there's so many terms and stances that you have to be very uniform on or you're yelled at and shamed. when you try to delve into the why of those stances, not even to disagree but to understand, you're met with a brick wall. you're forced to drop it or be shunned. it can make things very tense and uncomfortable to do much of anything besides talking about how you miss having claws for the 100th time.
it definitely gives the impression that we've stagnated because everyone is too scared to stray away from designated safe topics. I've found i far more enjoy it being a personal experience or talking with those that aren't so uptight about it, rather than performing for the crowd.
