**Commission Announcement**
If anybody would like a commission, this is the last chance to get them on sale (pre-covid and inflation prices, lol) before I raise prices next year. If you've already messaged me about a commission, please don't worry--the prices on my form all stand as they are. I won't update them til January, but even so, if we have a previous agreement, I will honor the price I pitched no matter when you submit the form.
Take it as an 'Everything Must Go!' sale. I will likely have to take a second job next year, and I may also take a couple college courses. I'm gonna be busy! As you all have prob noticed, my posting has reduced significantly and my turnaround time can take a while. It has been an exceedingly busy year for me, both good and bad--moving cross country, lots of traveling, an ongoing family emergency, a new puppy, and working more hours at my current job. To justify commissions next year, I will simply have to raise prices. I put about 8-12+ hrs of work into each full render (currently $30-50 each), and 5 hrs minimum into sketch pages (currently $15!). I have a degree and experience in the animation industry and so I know these rates are absolutely not industry standard, but I enjoy it so much and it's honestly a great way to destress. I appreciate every comm I've gotten and I've loved improving my skills along the way too. It's truly been great.
However, even with this at the side and a job that pays okay, basic needs are just too expensive now (I don't even have healthcare anymore due to the family emergency so. lol). Every time I go to the grocery store I feel like crawling into a hole Junji Ito style. It would be absolutely amazing if I could write and draw my way into paying my bills but I don't have the viral internet presence required for it, and it also drains my soul, so I'd rather not anyways. My comms have been on sale since 2024 so it's about time, yknow?
Reminder that you can still support me on Ko-Fi, that I will continue to post on here every now and then, and that I will almost always happily take a commission (even on a sliding scale) as long as you're willing to put up with a bit of a wait!
