These Smoky Italian Pork Burgers are packed with flavor, combining the rich taste of ground pork with Italian herbs and smoky paprika. Topped with melted mozzarella and served with marinara sauce, they're a delicious twist on classic burgers.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground pork. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp dried oregano. 1/2 tsp smoked paprika. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 burger buns. 4 slices mozzarella cheese. 1 cup marinara sauce. Fresh basil leaves for garnish. Olive oil for cooking.
Instructions: Meat, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic, dried oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Set a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat to get it hot. Apply olive oil to the burger patties and cook them on the grill for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked. In the last minute of cooking, cover the grill and put a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of each patty. This will melt the cheese. For one minute, grill the burger buns until they get grill marks and are just a little toasty. Put marinara sauce on the bottom half of each bun, then put a pork patty on top of it with melted cheese. Finish by adding fresh basil leaves on top of the burgers. Put the top half of the bun on top of the burger. If necessary, use a toothpick to hold it in place. Add your favorite sides to the Smoky Italian Pork Burgers while they are still hot.
