Here’s a wild idea: what if, instead of creating 100 new genders and making people even more confused about themselves, we just get rid of this whole ‘gender-idea’ and raise boys and girls the same way and treat women and men the same way and just let everyone wear, do and act however they want, without making them think that something is wrong with them..

I'm seeing pushback but it's from Exhibit A type of people throwing about accusations so they're digging themselves into an even deeper hole.
Hopefully, people start realizing that having a specific, derogatory, word for gender critical women, while it's males that commit the vast majority of violence against trans identifying individuals is not a coincidence. They stop using it to shut down all productive conversations, and then we can finally retake feminism back.
Without the humiliation ritual that is a thousand disclaimers before we even speak, that is.
Edited May 2026: this post is over a year old at this point. I love that people are still sharing it for awareness but please keep that in mind while you read.

How very depressing that Neil Gaiman had trended not even a tiny bit for demonstrating what a fucking horrific person he is.
As a reminder, he's suing Caroline Wallner, one of his accusers, for breaking her NDA. Not for libel. He's saying she shouldn't have told anyone about it, not that she lied.
The author says Wallner broke her NDA by sharing her story with the media, including with New York Magazine.
He doesn't need the money. He's risking the Streisand effect. He is punishing Caroline, he's trying to intimidate other victims who have signed NDAs to scare them into continued silence.
He is no friend to women, to the LGBTQIA+ community, to anyone quite frankly unless he thinks they are of value to him.
Share the story. Put it on Facebook and bluesky and whatever else you're on. Make it clear what a horrifying person he is. Tell your friends. He's paying Edendale a fortune to try and cover this up. Make this hard for him. Make it cost him money.
Not wanting to have sex is NOT a problem. It doesn’t matter if you are asexual or allo, there is nothing wrong with not wanting sex. It’s just an activity. That’d be like saying that if you don’t like soccer, you need to go to soccer therapy to figure out why you dislike it and figure out how to like it because it’s for your own good. See how ridiculous that sounds? IT IS OK TO NOT WANT TO HAVE SEX AND IT IS NOT SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!!!!!
This is the same kind of institutional bigotry that see queerness as something to be "fixed".
Conveniently, both instances uphold the heteronormative patriarchal system of misogyny. Ensuring that women are sexually available for men, and men do not endanger other men into falling into equality with women by staying in their lane above women.
You'd think it's common sense that if it's a shared activity, it should be something both partners enjoy. But somehow sex is some kind of obligation - especially from the woman. Weirdly, men who have used their hands all their lives suddenly find it humiliating to use their hands once they have women in their lives, because that's the purpose of women in the first place; to replace their hands as their sex tool.
You don't have to "compromise" if you don't like sex. There's no compromise owed over your own body. It's yours 100% of the time.
"You can't have a good relationship/marriage without sex" is misogynistic propaganda designed to gaslight women into conflating surrendering to objectification with love. It's also incredibly narrow-minded and ignorant, leaving out all kinds of people that are in the disabled community, non-allosexuals, older people, and more. If you can't connect with another human being on a soulful level unless there's sex involved, that's the problem - not the lack of sex.
Sex repulsed asexuals are not prudes, puritans, or slut shamers for simply being grossed out by sex. No one’s saying you shouldn’t be allowed to have sex. We’re just saying we would like to be allowed to be uncomfortable with it and not participate in it or anything related to it. We’re asking for the same sexual revolution you get to have. We’re asking to be liberated from the chains of being told we have to do something that isn’t what we want.

i cannot stress this enough. if you are a radfem, you should be volunteering at your local women’s shelter if you have the time and resources. posting online is cool and all because it gives younger women or women who haven’t peaked yet an opportunity to discover and resonate with radical feminism, but if we want to see actual change in real life we’re gonna have to start it. go to a women’s rehab center, donate clothing to a rape shelter, protest if you can. nothing is hopeless if we become the hope in this world
i wholeheartedly believe in this to be honest, especially when people say “a woman’s biggest enemy is another woman.” i hate that they make it seem as if women only spacea aren’t good for us, that we somehow hate each other.
I quite like the implication that instead of waving him off and saying “yeah yeah yeah shut up I don’t know what that means”, Ryland would’ve sat down and let Rocky describe the words, find the human equivalent, and then type them into the computer to allow this verbal beating

what makes the pitt great is that i actually DO care about every character and their interactions and dynamics. i WANT to know what ogilvie’s deal is. i LIKE that robby is an asshole and a great doctor. i am ENJOYING the langdon/trinity tension. i think its INTERESTING that javadi hasn’t found her footing yet. that’s good tv!!!! yay!!!!!
Every part of Vegas feels like it's pulled out of fiction and is Incredibly off-putting. It's a major city in the middle of one of the world's most inhospitable deserts
Its famous for recreating other world landmarks on a small scale. It uses this as a trap to bait people into making life ruining decisions. It's motto is essentially "never speak of what happened here". Fucked up

ya girl frank langdon hair anon here clocking in...can't believe how blessed we were tn!! novels could be written about the sweaty strands in his face as he smiles and remembers his true potential!! gah!
anon... i have been waiting for you... my mouth was wide open every time he was on screen this week they rlly freaked the hair+sweat combo this episode, and the storytelling through his hair alone was insane LET'S GET INTO IT
episode 14
okay. so. the first couple of scenes we get of frank in this ep (by the hub asking whitaker about his badge/talking to ellis about robby/talking to ellis with the beer bottle face lac patient), is the most pushed back the hair is all episode, which is to say: not pushed back at all. no evil hair in sight this week. it's still neat and out of his eyes, still styled while looking pretty effortless. he looks good! after the break room scene with mel he's got a little more pep in his step, and though his confidence isn't fully back, he's getting there.
(frank enters dad mode and tells whitaker to retrace his steps; frank tells ellis that father thinks he's unfit to reign)
we then get the break room scene with whitaker which... was a scene in the show. he handled it way better than i would've, and i'll leave my thoughts on the scene at that. now the hair is falling a little more forwards, less structured than in earlier scenes. just before this we see him complaining about his back pain to ellis, and he's in the break room to get some painkillers from the employee medicine cabinet. he's in pain, and expects to be alone so it tracks that the hair would be a little more disheveled than before, this time falling across his forehead instead of pushed to one side. he's not trying to look a certain way to convey that he's fine, this should be a moment of quiet for him to deal with his pain, until he gets accosted by some twerp for no real reason.
(god forbid a guy take some advil; and then i hear this agitating, grating voice)
TIME TO SAVE LIVES. when he enters the trauma bay for the spinal patient, his hair is SO floppy. the closest we've seen to this is at the end 2x05 when he is performing the resus on louie. he's in pain, he just got yelled at by an intern (?), and in this moment, he's on the knife's edge. he's looking at a gurney with a patient facing possibly life threatening consequences due to a spinal injury, and i think in this moment he sees himself. referring back to my hair theory scale from this post, it could go one of two ways. this could be effortless hair because he's in control and isn't trying to keep up appearances, or it could be messy hair in a situation where he has no control and can't keep up the facade that things are okay. the only way to find out which one of those it is, is to try. when you compare his hair here to previous episodes, it looks like the only product in it is some kind of volumiser, but other than that his hair is free to move as it pleases. we've gone from the strands being pushed to the side, to over his forehead, to now hanging over his eyes.
(oh shit; big dick frank langdon takes charge and saves a life)
it's at this point in the episode when something clicked in the back of my mind. i had a brief thought of wow, his hair in season two has really grown on me, maybe... maybe i even prefer it to season one hair? and then he was pulling a guys head off his body to reduce a spinal dislocation so i filed that thought away for later. but then it was later, and i was gathering screenshots for this post, and it hit me. his hair was as hot as season one hair in this episode because it is season one hair. right now, in a trauma bay, with a complicated and risky procedure before him, and buoyed by the fact that everyone else trusts him enough to let him try: in that moment, he was his old self. he doesn't have to try to look a certain way because his actions speak for him. he is a good doctor and he and everyone else knows it. i could cry.
(1x02; 2x14)
and then we have the post reduction celebration/immediate comedown when he has to run off to do his drug test. that hit of adrenaline when he realises that yeah, he really freaked it big time. this is what he's here for! this is what he loves! he doesn't need to look put together! he doesn't need to push his hair back! he just reduced a uni-facet cervical dislocation, frank langdon is back 🔛🔝 babeyyyyyyyy, nothing's gonna bring him down. well. until dana comes running up to him to remind him that his drug test is overdue. in his final moments on screen this episode, this rug pull catapults him to the other side of the hair theory scale, representing a loss of control and command of his situation, despite seconds earlier getting his swag back.
(holy shit; girl who is going to be okay.jpeg; girl who is late for her very important drug test)
quick tangent here: this drug test is serious. now obviously he hasn't relapsed (regardless of what some people on tiktok and twitter have wrongly speculated), but we know from his conversation with al-hashimi earlier in the season that he's in a PHP (physician's health program). missing a drug test, regardless of if the results come back clear, carries some very significant consequences, and could end his career. this, paired with the fact that we just saw him leave the bathroom before entering the trauma bay in this episode leaves him in a very precarious situation where being unable to provide a urine sample could theoretically cost him his career. i'm sure people are going to find it funny that he's going to spend the last episode stressed about not being able to pee, but please keep in mind that the consequences for failing to provide a sample on time could be catastrophic for his life and career, so let's treat this with some understanding please.
overall, this episode was incredible for me and the 4 other people who also spend most of their time watching this show tracking just how much hair is in this guy's eyes. a very satisfying journey from start to end that mirrors frank's confidence over the course of the episode, and the season. i'm so excited to see what ep15 has in store, and i need to start making some graphics for my post-season essay because i have things to say! thank you all for joining me on this week's episode of Frank Langdon Hair Theory. love you all. mwah
+BONUS
finally... after a 7 episode drought... (and i mean DROUGHT.)... sweaty frank langdon returned. not to make this all about me but. thank god. just another testament to the attention to detail they put in on this episode. they made him nice and shiny. this one goes out to mel 'he has a tendency to sweat a lot' king.
(they hosed him down just before this scene; shiny shiny shiny)
