If you are from Tennessee, contact your representatives and make it clear that the people do not want this data center. This is an AZA accredited zoo which is home to several species of critically endangered animals, we NEED to protect it. Make your voice heard!

I’m well aware of the threat bears pose, don’t worry. But I grew up out here so I’m very familiar with how to deal with them. I had a compound bow with me, a rifle down on the table, plenty of stuff to throw, lots of stuff to make noise, and a kitchen full of knives. If he had gotten inside it wouldn’t have been a big deal.

The long-tailed slug, or ninja slug (Ibycus rachelae), is a type of semi-slug, being somewhat intermediate in appearance between a snail and a slug. Semi-slugs have a partially visible shell, but the shell is too small for the body to be withdrawn into. Found only in the state of Sabah in Borneo, the long-tailed slug was first described as a new species in 2008.(x x x)
