I just followed you you are so awesome at this… I love bugs I love craft… apologies if you’ve answered this but how did you get into glassblowing?

Moved to a city with a flameworking studio and got started! I was already making transparent colorful creatures in polymer clay so it was time for a new medium.

I use soft glass so if anyone is interested in trying it out themselves look for lampwork/flamework studios with beadmaking or sculptural glass classes in your area, the techniques are interchangeable. Make sure they have ventilation though.

I love it even though it's really hard, I have so many 5 legged beetles now....

Yes I will be back! at some point! probably not on etsy but I need to sell some things or they keep piling up!

I'll be honest, every time I think of selling stuff again I get paralyzed thinking about what to do about USA orders and all the ever-changing tariff nonsense, and their current situation which is :(

That shouldn't stop me from selling to the rest of the world but it is enough of a downer that it does.

I'll post here when I'm selling things again, currently I'm just noodling around and trying new things.
