Moved to a city with a flameworking studio and got started! I was already making transparent colorful creatures in polymer clay so it was time for a new medium.
I use soft glass so if anyone is interested in trying it out themselves look for lampwork/flamework studios with beadmaking or sculptural glass classes in your area, the techniques are interchangeable. Make sure they have ventilation though.
I love it even though it's really hard, I have so many 5 legged beetles now....
