oh god. just remembered how shinya was literally never loved, his real family sold him and his adoptive family saw him as a tool. the girl he was forcibly engaged to didn't want him, and he grew up idolised and kept at bay from his peers because of his family while that same family bullied him and mistreated him, he got to age sixteen completely alone and unloved. and then guren ended the world for him.
