I know this has been said before but a lot of you are pissing me off so I'm going to say it again.
Being alterhuman does not mean you have some ~special ability~ to interact with wild animals.
DO NOT go touching/chasing/ generally messing with wildlife. You aren't special and you could harm those animals, or be harmed by them. Even small things like bugs can kill you. You aren't immune to rabies.
If you scare wild animals by chasing them for species euphoria or whatever, you can genuinly kill them. Birders have a term for when it happens to birds, its called a Dread Flight. When you unnecessarily scare a wild animal, you are causing it to waste energy it needs to survive. Wildlife can't afford to waste energy. You're enjoyment is NEVER worth disturbing wildlife.
You do not have the training to rescue wild animals just because you're alterhuman. If you don't have the actual training to resue wildlife and you genuinely find an animal in need of help, CALL A FUCKING WILDLIFE REHABILITATION CENTER!!!! It isn't that hard to find the number for your local center and they'll tell you what to do, if anything, and help you if necessary.
I'm so sick of seeing alterhumans online think they can interact with wildife willy nilly just because they're alterhuman. Please fucking stop.

We hate asking for anything more, but today sucked and we're exhausted. It was 86f inside today and we are not doing great. The only thing that really helps our tendon pain and insomnia is low dose CBD, but we haven't been able to afford it between bills and cat supplies. Any help or boosting is appreciated!

I wanted to use what âreachâ I may have here to share the Carolina Wildlife Centerâs urgent plea for donations. If they are unable to raise $75,000 to cover ongoing and future care of their wildlife patients, the center will have to close July 20th, 2026. The services provided by CWC to the community are incredibly valuable, and without them, many wild animals will suffer without the care they need.

Shout out to systems that don't care about their origin or intricate labels
The plural community puts too much strain on how we began. But, not enough emphasis on how we are now. There's an expectancy, within this world, of sharing intimate details of one's life. And if you don't share enough, You're fake. And, if you share too much, you are also fake.
Whether you're a system as a result of trauma, and only wish to discuss it with trusted persons, or you simply just exist this way, or you have multiple origins and don't want to favor one origin over the other, tulpa/willomancers that dont want their headmates to be seen as lesser, or you're unsure of your origin or can't remember how it started, or you simply just don't care no matter what the cause is. You are valid. And I admire you for not giving into the pressure to label yourself.
Shoutout to fictionfolk who are different from their source in ways fandom doesn't tend to like.
Those who have a different orientation. Those who are disabled when their source isn't or vice versa. Those who are a different race or even species. Those who are a different gender, are intersex, are cis, or are trans in noncanon ways. Those who have different moral alignments. Those who barely are canon at all. Those who were in relationships that fandom considers a "bad ship". Those who hate and avoid being like their canon selves while the fandom can't seem to get enough.
You're not wrong for being you, it's not a crime to exist as yourself. You don't need to bend over backwards to please fandom. It's okay.

Govt slashed our benefits because of a fucking paperwork issue, and we're trying to fix it, but we only have enough for rent. We need money for ACTIVELY past-due debt payments from when our mother and oldest cat passed last year, and OTC supplies like tylenol and sanitary items. It'd also help cover rising cost of groceries.

If you want to support intersex people, stop using the TMA/TME binary.
Iâm saying this as an intersex person.
The general consensus (from what Iâve seen) is that TMA means âtransmisogyny affectedâ and TME means âtransmisogyny exemptâ. At first it sounds like a good binary, but quickly falls apart once you see its flaws.
In usage, TMA refers exclusively to transfeminine or âAMABâ people. It does not acknowledge the transmisogyny faced by those who would be exempt from it.
For example, a gender-nonforming cis woman would face transmisogyny for looking like a transgender woman. Would she still be TME, despite being a target?
An intersex man would be considered TME, but if he goes through an estrogenising puberty that makes him look feminine and become a target of transmisogyny, would he become TMA or stay TME?
Is a non-binary person TME or TMA? I know it depends on their assigned gender at birth, which makes the whole point of this flawed system completely moot.
And ignoring all those said flaws, what is the point of inventing entirely new binaries just to show who is âexemptâ from bigotry, when everyone can face it one way or another?
What about the entire intersex community, who canât neatly fit into every single binary you make? What about those who canât be categorised as âTMEâ, nor âTMAâ?
It is simply intersexist in almost every way. There is no point of showing who can be and canât be affected by transmisogyny when you refuse to acknowledge the millions of people who donât neatly fit in a binary.
And if your first thought is some form of âI donât careâ or âtheyâre TME by defaultâ then you are the problem. This sort of binary is actively harming the community and only putting everybody in a divide.
Stop making useless binaries and actually focus on the real problems that plague the world!
Focus on the transgender men who are being silenced because of their assigned sex at birth!
Focus on the intersex babies being forcibly mutilated before they can even crawl!
Focus on the transgender people facing execution, possibly being stoned or flogged for the mere act of being transgender!
Focus on SOMETHING ELSE! Do a change in the world! Advocate for your community! Protest transphobic laws, regulations and policies that are being passed around the world!
Stop focusing on yourself, and help the people everywhere who are being actively kicked out of their homes, killed, and mutilated against their will for being queer!
And most importantly, stop referring to yourself as âTMEâ or âTMAâ. It helps no one and only signals to the wrong people. It actively divides the community and harms everybody.
All of this is happening around the world, even in some of the most progressive nations. This is not limited to the âbackwardsâ and âsavageâ countries. This can happen in yours, too!
My own country has me banned from a normal life for being queer. I face a potential death penalty for being gay. I wonât even be able to go on Hajj if anyone finds out Iâm transgender. I wonât even be able to practice my own culture!
I am forced to stay in a shell that isnât mine. A shell with spikesâone I can not move in and one I can barely breathe in.
And Iâm supposed to care about being âTMEâ and respecting every single order from radfems who live privileged lives where there is little to worry aboutâwhere most of their problems are little and far in-between.
I am supposed to respect the same people who hate my mere existence, who want me dead for the mistake of being a man, while the people around me actively talk about the âdiseaseâ that is queerness and how they want to protect me from it.
I am supposed to shut my mouth and let the people who mutter âtheyfabâ, âtransandrobroâ, and every single other slur under the sun at me speak for the entire community.
While my own people are ACTIVELY being shunned out of society for acting gay. For crossdressing. For having a face that looks even slightly feminine or too far from their assigned sex.
While my own people are being forced to âget fixedâ. To undergo genital surgery for being intersex. While they are being actively murdered for having ambiguous genitalia.
And you care about me not being your model view of a good queer?
