Not because I hate my theriotype, but because I just know they will get it wrong. So badly! Especially if they say anything about dolphins being evil.

I know it’s just a video and that I shouldn’t be getting mad, but.. why advertise yourself as “informative” if you’re going to get everything wrong?

.. But it’s because I don’t feel like the definition fits me anymore. “Identifies as” is not me. I do not “identify as” an orca.

I am an orca in every way that I know of, whether you like it or not. Yes, this includes biologically.

But if I told someone I was an orca, they wouldn’t take me seriously. It would be seen as not much more than a little jab. “This person loves orcas so much they joke about how they are one themselves”

If I told someone I was an orca therian, they would either take me seriously or cringe because I reminded them of furries.

It’s not that I don’t identify as an orca—I could be considered that—but I am an orca.

Just an orca and nothing more.

Not an orca therian. Not an orca holothere. Not an orca alterhuman.

Useable by everyone.
