Ever since he became human again, Jay finds comfort in listening to cole’s heartbeat. Its a way Jay can prove to his over active mind that cole is indeed alive and not gonna die on him (which cole continues to prove is a high possibility)

He also just likes to hear it bc there was period of time when he couldnt :']

NEW design for Manbat Tim~!

Kon heard something causing a ruckus in the barn out back and went to investigate, only to find a giant human sized bat rummaging around in the fresh bales of hay.

Turns out that human sized bat is actually his friend, Tim, who was way more affectionate than normal and seemingly scared, so Kon does his best to help him relax. He talks to him and Tim seems to understand, but his mind is obviously muddled, a constant fight between human intelligence and animal instinct.

It's was amusing, especially when Tim began grooming himself with his tongue. He immediately stopped, made a disgusted face, and tried to busy himself with something else, only for a moment later to be grooming himself again, this time with more anger as he was clearly upset that the 'clean fur with tongue urge' won out.

Here's Leon getting to be human again after 7-8 years of being stuck as a 9 foot tall bug monster, all thanks to Luis and his new medicine!

It's funny cause most of the people in Leon's life at this point have never seen him in his human form, before his infection, and needles to say they are shocked and flabbergasted by how goddamn good looking he is. Leon is clueless of course, too happy about being human again to notice his colleagues and friends flushed faces, especially when he smiles. (Luis feels like hes gonna keel over from a heart attack any minute, as if his crush wasn't bad enough-!)

Honestly Leon is also a bit stunned by how he looks too. He had no idea the military training had such a drastic effect on him. While he wasn't out of shape when Racoon city happened, he had never been in this fit before in his life.

((Now that he can be human again, Leon immediately wants to go out and do a BUNCH of stupid shit, be it Mini golf, Bingo, Movies, corn mazes, basically the dumber the better. My man has been cooped up in confinement for YEARS and he wants to be able to experience ALL the silly mundane shit he's missed out on and taken for granted.))

Titles

Here's a piece about an interesting parallel between Kai and Nya that I found: how they react to titles.

Nya:

She hates depending on other people and is always trying to be as independent as possible, so she firmly rejects any label or title she's given. And even if she doesn’t necessarily hate most of them, she still wants to be more than that. She refuses to fit into a box when she's actually so much more. She wants to be perceived as her full self and not only the parts of her that are convenient for other people.

Kai:

Kai's self-esteem is very fragile, so when he gets a title that tells him he's valuable, he latches onto it. He craves validation and a label marking him as "good enough" is perfect for that. I believe this is also one of the reasons he was so obsessed with the Green Ninja.

Kai also uses those titles as a shield, a façade to hide his true emotions. Even if they might not be entirely true, he will adapt to fit into each specific box. After all, if he shows people exactly what they believe, they won't bother looking deeper and so they won't notice the weakness and ugliness beneath the mask.

Although as a final note I have to mention that a lot of Nya's titles are demeaning because of misogyny while all of Kai's are empowering.
