The idea that lesbians dislike penises and that gay men dislike vaginas only because of some social conditioning is deeply stupid because there is literally no society on Earth that conditions women to be attracted to vaginas and to dislike penises, and men to be attracted to penises and to dislike vaginas. TRAs tell us to "unpack" our "genital preference" (aka our natural sexual orientation that cannot be changed) as if that's something we've learned, but where exactly have we learned it? In this homophobic, heteronormative world that considers PIV to be the only valid form of sex, that tells all young kids that they're gonna marry someone of the opposite sex one day, that only shows straight couples on TV 99% of the time, in which most people still think same-sex couples are disgusting, in this world that actively tries to convince homosexuals that we're attracted to the opposite sex and that our sexuality is just a phase or a disease, how could we learn to dislike the opposite sex and to only be attracted to the same sex? How chronically online, disconnected from reality, ignorant about everything related to homosexuality and homophobia you have to be to think that? Nothing, no one in society pushes women to dislike penises and men to dislike vaginas. To think otherwise is ridiculous.

Imagine if a bunch of people found your feminist post and started reblogging it, thus making it reach more people, but then you realize that people who you DONT AGREE WITH are reblogging it, and so you nuke the post. Now no one can reblog the feminist post. Like. Not allowing terfs to reblog your post will not make terfs disappear or reconsider their political views. But the fact that you dont want feminism to reach more people if it means that the evil terfs will agree with you, just shows that your feminism hates some women more than it wants to defend all women

This made me cry. Sometimes women can’t agree openly. Sometimes they have to have an anonymous tumblr to show their support and stay informed. Thank you for not leaving us behind

its amazing how johns have rendered themselves practically invisible in the discussion of sex workers. like every justification for a sex work industry has everything to do with whether women have the right to make a living and not whether men have the right to purchase sex. the women are the actors here but men are just the force of nature. this applies to a lot of dynamics but it feels so evil when it comes to the sex industry. 

I’ve never hated someone so much that I want to inflict sexual violence on them. It’s a bit terrifying how a substantial part of the population doesn’t feel the same . I won’t pretend to be some saint with no disturbing or vengeful thoughts on those I despise but it still baffles me just how common it is for males to get turned on by the prospect of SA explicitly being used as a weapon .

I remember watching this documentary (twice, actually) and sobbing uncontrollably. This scene really hit me because she let these words out reluctantly. She was silent and then said “wait, I have something to say.” We often forget that not everybody is just “accustomed” to their circumstances and that some people are just “built” to endure these hardships. They too suffer and they too want a way out.

Girls, it's not worth it to keep searching for "the one". If you end up finding someone that's awesome, but center yourself in your own life and don't obsess over it. It doesn't have any guarantee that that person even exists and you would just have wasted your lifetime
