#sr #just reblogging this for a different crowd since i posted this on a weekend #also i had fun remaking this gifset #for one: sooo much nicer to make gifs with HQ source material #and two: the first go around i did a blue and orange set bc duh sterek but also bc i just wasn't good at coloring #but i wanted to change up the derek gif to the one of him smiling (maybe my favorite shot of derek in the whole show??)#so that tilted the whole set more blue #but annoyingly there really aren't a lot of shots of stiles and his dad together in the same frame post s2 buzzcut #the annoying thing about giffing tv shows is the over abundance of just back and forth reaction shots #and the limit of wider shots with the characters together #especially if you're trying to look for ones where the characters aren't obviously talking #this one from s3 is one of the few i found and liked but the scene itself is sooo bright and leans more yellow/orange/red #so it was a bit of a bitch to color it to lean more blue while still fitting the vibe of the set AND not looking ridiculous #i think i did ok?? i had fun doing it #also i did a great job picking these shots the first go around they really do fit my fic perfectly.

Spent a ridiculous amount of time last night obsessively editing my hand written zines in Photoshop to take away any tiny blemishes so they were definitely readable.

Whatever. Understand or don't.

#1) i can read all of that #2) my dad had terrible handwriting in school #he was a teen in the 60s #and he kept getting marked down bc his teachers said they couldn't read his writing #so he signed up to take a typewriting class #but at his high school in the 60s typewriting class was basically only for girls who wanted to become secretaries #(sexism in the 60s! how unsurprising!)#so they tried to bar him from registering for the class and he had to go to the principal and petition to be let in #and 'prove' that he had a valid reason for it #and he basically just showed them his essays with his poor handwriting and the principal asked some of the teachers about it #and they were all like 'oh bob??? yeah that kid would benefit from typing'#so they let him join the class and after that my dad basically started typing EVERYTHING #it's actually kind of cute my aunt made a scrapbook for him and it was full of a bunch of stuff from his childhood #including all these notes he'd left for his family as a teen #like 'i'm out with xyz until late don't wait up for me' but like. instead of hurriedly written down on a scrap of paper he'd typed it up
