i've read fics where dean finds out that bobby is gay and his mind is blown but it would be a million times funnier if sam found out bobby was gay (like in the later seasons after bobby was dead or something) and he's like WHAT. WHAT?!?? and dean's like yeah..... you didn't know ? 🙄 what did you think he and rufus were doing??
he re-reads John's journal and starts seeing that all the entries about Bobby and Rufus are clearly saying that they're more than friends. Sam is like "Cas, do you think I'm oblivious to things?" and Cas is like "Yes Sam, sometimes" and Sam is like "Why are you shirtless in Dean's room? Did you need to borrow a shirt?"
