Give The Character an itch in their nose that they cant scratch no matter how much they paw and rub and bully. Like HEAR ME OUT. Baseline, they're very obviously fighting against a helpless urge. Which is awesome. I don't think I need to convince anyone around here on that. But depending on the person, there's potential for so many details that remind me of Something Else... The strained noises you might hear from in their throat or in their voice. The way their breathing might hit an erratic rhythm, unless they just hold their breath altogether. Their wincing facial expressions. Their outright denial that they didn't laugh when they start slipping. The way they might fidget or hold a hand to their mouth/nose. The tears in their eyes if they really lose it. And it's just a bonus when their actual laughter ends up being so cute and genuine that I feel aggression about it.
And sometimes it is just goofy and ridiculous and that's that. But it's also a losing battle against an urge and I can't help but get a little perverted about it. Whatever.
