As someone who is internationally adopted, the dating scene sucked when I partook in it. Young men who were curious about my background asked βwhere are you from?β Right as I was getting to know them. I fear that I came off insecure because I wasnβt comfortable telling people I was adopted during the first meetings. Iβm still not when strangers ask me questions like that. Itβs not their business because my adoption is personal.
