What’s crazy about Apple TV is that a chunk of the shows on there are about dystopian leadership filled with religious and corporate overtones IE “I pray to the founders…” “praise be to Keir…” and how keeping people in the dark and lying about their reality is the only way to have ultimate control over humans. And this comes from the most dominating tech company in existence. What’s terrible about this is that they are putting out the most interesting compelling and cinematic television there is right now. Juliette Nichols is the Character Of All Time tbh!!! She almost burned down her apartment as a kid because she got so focused on fixing a chair she forgot she was cooking, she rips the fitted sheet off her bed to sleep on a bare mattress, she sleeps in her work clothes, she asked how old some food was and then just ate it without even heating it up. She spends a season trapped in a haunted silo with a man who knows a lot about the before times but is too busy trying to get a suit to go outside to give a shit and also gets sepsis from forgetting to look after an arm wound. She gets pissed when someone infodumps to her about the past, even. She's given stew with a spoon and drinks it. She panicked and ran into an incinerator and thinks she can pry open ANY door with a crowbar. She hasn't washed her hair in weeks, probably,,

It's too fucking obvious that a lot of people think psychosis is inherently a major medical emergency requiring immediate hospitalization and not like... a very regular part of everyday life for millions of people

it’s interesting how several times throughout the show we see kleya try and talk luthen out of something if it’s not perfect, even suggesting she go instead… do you ever just think about how both kleya and luthen believe they’re each expendable for the rebellion but don’t think the same of the other… they’d sacrifice themselves in a heartbeat but they would do a lot to keep the other from doing just that
