how do you make your colors so nice? gradient maps?

i wish i had a better answer but it really is like 2-5 adjustment layers on various blending modes😭 i don't really use gradient maps i dont rlly find them helpful lol.

i like to mix warm and cool colors in the adjustments to keep things balanced + for a glowy effect i'll add an adjustment layer that only covers the bottom of the piece and blend it out
