Squeeze, child. You won’t break it.
I would be remiss to not bring up that Arcane brought not one but two mature, older women into the picture, who can FUCKING GET IT
Like damn
Mark me, child, if you want to last in this world, you must learn to be both the fox and the wolf.

trans girl fluttershy for pride month ♥
they’re gonna fight….
who will win….. like for Madness…….. reblog for David Byrne
PROS AND CONS:
MADNESS:
✔ intense saxophone blasts can disintegrate a man into desert sands
✔ have access to powerful Egyptian curses
❌ reliance on the “nutty walk” method of movement may cause defensive problems
DAVID BYRNE:
✔ byrne clones move in perfect unison, as if one
✔ may possess power to teleport opponents to another part of the world
❌ byrne has no idea how he got where he is at any given time
every character design can be improved if you give them brown eyes
think about it - what’s more impactful than the absolute love and warmth when you gaze into brown eyes? or the darkness that encompasses them when the person is angry? nothing is.
i think a lot of neurotypicals misunderstand what “routine” means in the context of autistic ppl needing routine. they seem very fixated on the idea that routine means doing the same thing at the same time every day (eg always eating at 12, always showering at 7, idk, stuff like that) and they don’t seem to get that while yes, those are a kind of routine that some autistic ppl need/like, it’s not the only thing.
like for me, for example, it is way more important that the songs i listen to play in the right order and that the right kind of audio is on in the background when i do different tasks than it is that i do said tasks at a specific time of day. the routines that are important to me are about how i do things, not when. but nt ppl don’t understand this.
why is this important? bc i have had So. Many. neurotypicals tell me that the reason i’m depressed/anxious/not feeling well is that i don’t have enough of those when routines in my life. that obviously if i made sure to always shower at the exact same time of day i wouldn’t be depressed. that obviously if i made sure to always get up at exactly the same time, no wiggle room of even a minute, then i wouldn’t be anxious. “because you’re autistic!” they say, “and routines are important for you! you’ve even said so yourself!”
and then they proceed to not take the actual reasons why i’m feeling unwell seriously, because obviously if an autistic person isn’t living minute by minute according to a schedule that dictates their every move then that has to be the cause of all their problems.
reblogging this not for the NTs who misunderstand, but for other autistics reading this and going “wait, what i am doing is… a routine?”
I despise routine. If I do the same thing more than once, I go out of my way to do something different. But I love things that I call Processes. Sit with a favorite drink that you made, enjoy the process of both. Write to music, enjoy the process. Churn out art for seven hours, enjoy the process. Timed routine is bad, processes we control is good.
For me, I call it “rhythms”. “Off-rhythm” is bad, it’s like a faltered step, or a glitch in your perceived reality.
A “rhythm” is a particular order to things; dishes placed HERE instead of THERE; beginning or ending something at a certain EVENT instead of a time; touching an object in a specific way whenever I pass it….
It’s also why “interfaces staying the same” are so important to me. I move the mouse THIS DIRECTION in order to perform THIS TASK, any variation from that feels like being shoved off-balance.
hey man i haven’t seen a single similar post (concerning???) so i feel like it’s important to make this.
tomorrow is ramadan. your eating disorder will not magically disappear in ramadan.
allah will not hate you if you relapse in ramadan. be it that you faint or you binge, if you need to break your fast because of your eating disorder THEN YOU BREAK YOUR FAST.
You are not supposed to fast when you are sick. YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO FAST WHEN YOU ARE SICK. IT IS HARAM TO FAST IF YOU ARE SICK BECAUSE IT BRINGS HARM TO YOUR BODY. If you start feeling horribly sick and you know, you haven’t had sufficient suhoor or iftar for a few days or anything of the sort, it is okay to break your fast and even go to the hospital if you need to.
habaybi that have eating disorders, PLEASE take care of yourself during ramadan. It is a month of cleansing and forgiveness, so forgive yourself if you relapse. You can always redo your fast after ramadan.
Jazakallah please reblog this post and ramadan mubarak to you all! ♡

I wish all writers, witches, bards, poets, and artists a very successful creative life
Hey, so we all remember this lady, yeah?
She’s cospaying the Resident Evil tall vampire lady now.
She’s also a bronze medal-winning Olympian with the Russian basketball team. Maybe go visit her instagram?
I WANT MORE OVERGROWN RUINS TO EXPLORE AND IF I HAVE TO MAKE THEM MYSELF THEN SO BE IT
Having separate flags is good bcos it’s good to have a symbol for your particular identity to embrace but it also important to remember the rainbow flag unites us all. All LGBT+ people can use it. I feel like it’s somehow become assumed by a lot of younger lgbt+ people that it’s only fr gay men, which it isn’t and never has been
The rainbow flag when originally created by Gilbert Baker in 1978 actually contained 8 stripes that were assigned values and specific meanings that were meant to show what unites us and what we value as a community,
It took 30 people to hand dye AND hand stitch the first 2 pride flags- 30 people of various identities came together to create the first symbol of pride. Hot pink was removed due to fabric shortages and turquoise was mixed with indigo to have the darker blue we have today.
Having individual flags is great to show your identity but I think we shouldn’t forget that the rainbow flag isn’t reserved for gay men, it was created to show what we all have in common regardless of identity.

The 5 things you gotta know before you let that cop into your house
THIS STUFF IS SOOO IMPORTANT TO KNOW. Seriously. It’s saved my ass before.
What do you do when you look through the peephole and see a badge?
Remember: You do not have to let the police in the house unless they have a warrant — or probable cause. If you’re having a party, turn off the music, ask your guests to chill, and ask that anyone who’s too intoxicated carry on in another room.
Go outside to speak with the cops. Close the door behind you. Although some scary precedents are being set these days, police cannot enter your home without a warrant or probable cause. By closing the door, you’re cutting off a visual — or olfactory — line to potential probable cause.
Be polite. Ask why they are there. “Good evening, Officer. What can I help you with?”
Where possible, assure them you will take care of the problem. If the police ask to enter, inform them, “I do not consent to any searches.” If a police officer gives you an order and you are confused about your position, ask, “Do I have to comply?” If they continue with questioning, tell them you’ll need to call your lawyer and that you will not answer any questions.
Ask, “Am I free to leave?” This is especially handy if, say, a group of you’d been too bawdy on the patio and an officer stops by. If he/she is getting a bit hot under the collar, politely ask, “Am I being detained?” or “Am I free to leave?” If the cop has no reason to hold you, quickly, quietly, and politely retreat inside.
The POC’s Bill of Rights when it comes to the Police. Remember. These are your rights.
