“what’s with this dog motif?”

their answers vary from mention to mention but they never really delve into it. often matt will make a joke that they got sick of each other, that he left jay intentionally (against jay's wishes), but then he will turn around and say he originally wanted jay to play owen in the dirties. then jay will say the famous jay story arc/leaving matt was from "his own struggles????"

then matt will say crazy shit like "i deleted jay's number for a year" and "nobody wanted to do the dangerous things with me on the dirties." then jay will pipe up and say "i would have let you." and matt will agree.

and all of this is a funny bit, but who the fuck is it for ?? they act like there are tabloids covering this mysterious breakup, but literally nobody knows what happened when u were 20-something and insane and maybe mad at ur best friend, so you melodrama-style tried to replace him with another boy that the old friend jokes about still being jealous of?????

cheese sits on the toilet while we take showers, and i like to stand on my tip toes and draw his silhouette in the steam from a high angle, then stand back to see how warped it is from his actual shape

Edit: the title for this comic is “Puzzle Rat” this one’s a few days late due to having a lot of doctors appointments sorry it’s  just 9 pages, and about some rats… it’s more symbolic than anything really
