This might be controversial but I've finally gotten around to watching all the Evil Deads (except for the tv show) and I don't like how Ash becomes this misogynistic ninja. Shooting the shotgun backwards?? When in the 36 hours of hell did he he learn all that? And why is he training the troops in group combat he doesn't know how to do that! I can understand him being angry at everybody and picking fights but you can NOT tell me he got over Linda that fast. It hadn't even been 12 hours prior that his love and mourning for her allowed him to overpower the deadite possessing him!!

Evil Dead movies are all perfect cinema. Exactly what they say on the tin. Blood Gore Light Comedy and Evil Dead.

They don't need to do anything more than give us a final girl (Bruce Campbell included), stories of overcoming the odds, and the heavy use of power tools.

I love you Sam Raimi for bringing us this franchise.

I hope it never ends.

he would not fucking say that, but with disability.. he would not fucking be able bodied. sick n tired of characters walking away from multiple life changing injuries without a scratch. let’s get some natural consequences in here.

give that knife/sword fight survivor nerve damage. give the character who was shot in the gut a stoma. give that fire survivor lung damage and an oxygen cannula. give that leg injury survivor a cane. give that starvation survivor gastroparesis. give that spinal injury survivor a manual chair or powerchair.

while we’re at it, give your characters congenital disabilities too, just because. give them intellectual and development disabilities. give them acquired and postviral illnesses. dare to make somebody bedbound. for me.
