duckie perked up a lot this morning. i think she just got a slow start. if we find mom we might be able to reintroduce them

my neighbor brought us a baby duck she found today that got abandoned by her mom because she wasnt walking well after hatching. my neighbors thought was that our balcony would be a perfect baby duck holding bay and shes right. the duck is a pretty normal baby duck now so we will look after her until we can get to a wildlife rehab open by us. but i got so sad about duckie being alone under a car all day that i couldnt stop crying and then i gave her a heated yellow bean bag and shes sleeping on it. which made me cry more. side note does anyone think that hormone changes in the menstrual cycle can affect mood
