Not to give credence to the 'women aren't funny' stereotype, but the fact that 'girlfriend turns off boyfriend's game/girlfriend destroys boyfriend's PS5 or XBox One' videos are so common kiiind of shows that some girls online really have no idea how comedy works.

I'm convinced a large portion of women think abusing men is funny. That's why so much comedy revolves around it.

Something neuroscience-y that helps with prose: attention is selective. A character will not notice everything in a room. They will notice what matters to their goal, fear, desire, training, wound, or obsession. A jealous character notices hands. a hungry character notices food. A soldier notices exits. A lonely character notices pairs. Description becomes character when attention has a bias.

I also love that we finally get to see Asgore as more than just some happy, smiley goofball that just happens to like murdering kids. Like, he's actually smart. He knew from the start he was in a dark world and he was the one asking Flowery about it. Granted, he's spent however many years studying dark worlds, but still. He figured out how it all works pretty fast. And we see a MUCH more serious side to him. Granted, it's mostly because of his obsession with proving that dark fountains are real, but even the brief glimpses we get- my personal favorite being him shoving Kris and Susie into the light, and then that one shot of him half in light and half in the dark world- you can see a little of the police chief (and, in another world, the king) he used to be.
