The poster’s defense what that it was ‘fan cannon’ and that Kris and Chara don’t have genders(They said it would be funny if they gave the genderless characters genders)when someone said they were misgendering Chara and Kris.

Nancy Green ' "Aunt Jemima"

A great woman erased from history by idiots.

The branding of the syrup was a tribute to this woman’s gifts and talents. Now future generations will not even know this beautiful woman existed. What a shame.

The world knew her as “Aunt Jemima”, but her given name was Nancy Green and she was a true American success story.

She was born a slave in 1834 Montgomery County, KY. and became a wealthy superstar in the advertising world, as its first living trademark.

Green was 56 years old when she was selected as spokesperson for a new ready-mixed, self-rising pancake flour and made her debut in 1893 at a fair and exposition in Chicago. She demonstrated the pancake mix served thousands of pancakes, and became an immediate star.

I love how the abuse she suffered has fucked her up, I love that she is now actively gunning for the weird route, pushing for it without our input! She says proceed herself if we don’t when Kris and Noelle first enter the lake!!! I love that her behavior here doesnt come out of nowhere but is instead the culmination of yes our abuse, but also Noelle’s pre-established character traits. Her love of breaking games and finding secrets, her desire for independence/power AND submissive/masochistic nature, her attraction to the dark and the strange all twisted and compounded by our relationship with her.

I admittedly was not fond of the comparison’s between Chara and Noelle pre Chapter 5 because she felt far too passive for it. Chara wasn’t just passively being pushed around by us during genocide, they counted our kills, got sassy when we failed to kill certain targets (Snowdrake) , told us when more monsters were left in waterfall, and even even did some killing themselves without our input!! They literally possess Frisk in certain scenes (no Im not saying Chara made us do genocide or kill people Im talking about skipping Papyrus puzzles) and at the end of genocide they literally say “sense when were you the one in control” before destroying our connection to the world!!

Chara, while obviously influenced and ultimately harmed by the player, still had agency in the story, they do fucked up things without our input and are vulnerable to the allure of the genocide run in part because the genocide run feeds into pre established character flaws Chara already had.

I felt Noelle lacked to much agency in the narrative for the Chara comparison to make sense beyond “We make Chara stronger and convince them to kill people and we do the same thing to Noelle so their mirrors of eachother!”

So imagine how glad I was as a Chara fan to see Toby Fox decided to push Noelle in this much darker direction. She’s still an abuse victim of course, but post Chapter 5 she is an abusive victim choosing to partner with her abuser to do crazy fucked shit because it gives her a feeling of independence and power! She has agency both in the story and in this realtionship now!! Still not over her saying proceed herself as we enter the lake…..
